1. Timothy 2,12 it is written : "I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet."

Does it only pertain to married couples?
or does it mean I am not to correct a man(any man, ) and that if a man does something unfavourable to me, or breaks a boundary of mine, I am not to tell him
or is it about nagging? (asking him to do something or refrain from)

I understand the idea that women are not to teach them in church regarding biblical principles and pastoring and mentoring them, but I just wanted more clarification.

Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it. Men don't listen to women anyway.
My denomination allows women pastors. 'Bout a quarter century ago, we got our first one. I thought the congregation was treating her pretty s***ty (my wife's expression; she doesn't mince words), so I made the mistake of supporting her and I actually listened to her. And God used that pastor to heal some long-term broken spots in my life. Of course we fired her. The Staff-Parish committee's report said she wasn't properly "equipped" to be a pastor. I don't know about her "equipment"; I did see a glimpse of a pastor's heart.

I'd be a poorer man if I didn't listen to people who have spiritual wisdom, regardless of what "equipment" they have. I've been in Sunday School classes and Bible Studies led by women. In that setting, we're all peers anyways.

As for a man not respecting your boundaries .... enforced silence is how various forms of sexual and even spiritual misconduct get perpetuated. If it's tolerable, tolerate it. If it's correctable, correct it. If it's neither tolerable nor correctable, leave, and make sure others know why.
