God is love. Agree, or disagree?
No, not literally! God is a person, the Supreme Being. His actions might be love at times but Scripture also tells us God hates, acts with Grace, mercy and justice.

To say a person is a virtue (like love) or a vice (like evil, the devil or Hitler are evil) is figurative use of language, specifically personification.
So... God is NOT love?

1 John 4:8 NIV
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Don’t you know the Love Of God in your heart?

Where do you think he loved us first?

For as 1 John 4:19tells us, “we love because he first loved us.” It is the effectual love of God that first changes our hearts in order to make us capable of love, and it is His example of love that reminds us again and again of our need to love other people.

Ah yes, we can all post scripture that tells us such things.

We need to know the Love Of God in our spirit/ hearts...

That’s where we know of God...when our spirit is Born Again...Spirit gives bi spirit.

"To an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you" (1 Peter 1:4, ESV).

By promise Rita!

1 Peter 1:5 (ESV) states:

"Who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."

It's not revealed yet - be patient!

Same chapter -

1Petr 1:22 Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,
1Petr 1:23 since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;

I think my position is coherent.
Supposing 3-is1-ism, contrary to Scripture is THE EXACT OPPOSITE of coherent.
Actually my post didn't address Trinitarianism. Let's count...

The Word (Logos) was in the beginning. The Word (Logos) was God.
The Word (Logos) became flesh. (Jesus)

Exactly...only FTF thinks the Bible is the Living Holy Spirit...that’s who we have indwelling our spirit, Born Again of imperishable seed.....a Living seed.

Only I am thick and haven’t a clue what I’m talking about, lol.....thank God The Holy Spirit is my guide..imo.

Ah yes, we can all post scripture that tells us such things.
So we shouldn't trust the scriptures?

What did Jesus say?

John 10:35 NIV
If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside

I’m not saying we shouldn’t post scripture....I’m saying as a Born Again we should know the Love Of God in our hearts...we have been Born Of The Spirit at the end of the day.

The Spirit Of God is almighty ,powerful Love, I thought you knew that?

When the Spirit penetrates our hearts, His Love is mind blowing/ overwhelming!

Spirit gives birth to spirit.....God is a Spirit Of Pure, LOVE!

Modalism and similar religions like Islam try to claim their God is logically explained while The God of the Christian cannot be logically explained.

I think if your God can be fully explained so that the human mind can comprehend Him without further wonder then, YOUR GOD DOES NOT EXIST.

It is a man made god, imagined from the limited minds of men.
Paul declares we can never fully understand God,
Romans 11:33,
- Oh, the depth and the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God, How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out

We cannot ever fully understand all that the term nature of God entails or fully define the personality so that we can comprehend everything about it,
We can know enough about the terms Godhead, nature, and personality, to conclude that the Godhead is three personalities in one nature.

Deuteronomy 6:4,
- Hear O Israel, the Lord God, the Lord is one
Ephesians 4:4-6,
- There is One body and one Spirit just as you were called in One hope of your calling One Lord, one faith, one baptism One God and Father of all who is above all and through all and in you all

Malachi 2:10,
- have we all not one Father has not one God created us

The fact that God is One is clearly stated in the Bible.

Some declare based on Gods oneness that God is not composed of three personalities.

Genesis 1:26-27,
- Then God said, let  Us make man in  Our image

This shows the One God does have some sort of multiplicity or plurality.

John 1:1,
- In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God

Therefore the Oneness of God allows for a multiplicity of something.

I just simply believe the Bible,
- for in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead(Father,Son,Holy Spirit) in bodly form

Yes. And I know the hate Trinitarians have for:
  1. Definition
  2. Logic
  3. Language Usage
  4. Explicit Scripture
Scripture says there is only God the Father.
Lovely that you know the Love Of God in your heart , Brother...there is no love on the planet like it!

No human could ever Love us like our spiritual Father God...bathe in his Love all day every day.

Right.

Most of Christianity claims that the Word (Logos) of God is Jesus.
This is incorrect. IMHO

Jesus was not the Word (Logos). The Word (Logos) BECAME Jesus. (flesh)

[
CORRECT

Otherwise JESUS could never Say:
1 - "IAM from ABOVE, you(flesh) are from beneath"
2 - "Before Abraham IAM"
3 - " no one has seen the FATHER except HE who is in the bosom of the FATHER"

The apostle John, a OT Hebrew who became Born-Again by the Word and filled with the Holy Spirit.

How many times did John the Apostle write: "the Word" in his opening breath in the Gospel???

@Johann @Wrangler @APAK

Brothers @Johann and @St. SteVen

What dynamic changed with the Word when the Word became flesh
AND
did that dynamic continue???
AND
If YES, then for what purpose???

HalleluYAH = @Titus 'GET's IT'

Now ask yourself @APAK - Why are you not understanding that which cannot be fully understood???
