I have maybe a dozen such masks. I do some woodworking, and the dust of some hardwoods is not good for one to breath. So I'm well-equipped for now, at least. But the masks don't protect the wearers; they merely limit the shedding of virus when worn by someone who has been infected.

From your link:
"CDC is no longer reporting the number of persons under investigation (PUIs) that have been tested"
Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the U.S.

Do you think no one will check?
Did you not read the next sentence? Now that states are testing and reporting their own results, CDC’s numbers are not representative of all testing being done nationwide.

They are closing schools and canceling events with large numbers of people....

"The spread of coronavirus has compelled hundreds of K-12 schools in the U.S. to close, affecting more than 850,000 students, according to an analysis by Education Week. And those numbers are certain to increase in the coming days, as concerned parents call for more school closures.

The growing health crisis presents school leaders with a painful choice. Closing schools as has been done, so far, in China, Japan, Italy and elsewhere is a proven measure that has been shown to slow the spread of disease and, in turn, save lives. But it also causes huge economic and social disruption, especially for children, millions of whom depend on the free and reduced-cost meals they get at school."....
When Should Schools Close For Coronavirus?

They are suspending the NBA after one player was found to test positive, with the large gatherings a concern....

"The NBA has suspended the 2019-20 season after a Utah Jazz player, reportedly Rudy Gobert, tested positive for COVID-19. Games in progress on the night of March 11 will be completed."....
Coronavirus live updates: NBA suspends season after Utah Jazz player tests positive for COVID-19

It is only a matter of time before they gatherings at churches is going to become a matter of concern and draw the attention of health officials and others. What happens then...

(the official full disclosure as recorded, coronavirus, observed relative to the north magnetic pole shift in their territory in indigenous population) (about 1 min into the video, plus more)

(their version of a viral agent, that reacts, that was a live injection test) (no specific details but its nothing fancy, those girls in the video are probably dead by now-human subjects)

(common rumors about russian based sperm whale tests, on coronavirus subjects)

The CDC has reportedly removed the number of patients tested for COVID-19 from its website in a move that has sparked accusations of a coverup.
And it's no longer on the coronavirus page. You can still find some testing information, but you have to look around a little. The number of patients tested is apparently removed, but there is a page that lists the number of tests done, which would give you some indication. There have been about 11,000 tests. Assuming one test per patient, there were 11,000 people with or suspected of being infected, who were tested.

Now you are just being dishonest. I gave you the direct link and the numbers from that link. It is still there.

From your link:

Which again, admits that they've stopped posting the number patients being tested. Which is what I told you; they have removed it from their pages.

And what you denied. I colored it in your earlier statement.

It's possible to still find the number, but they make it harder now. For reasons we discussed earlier.

THIS JUST IN!

"Coronavirus 10 times more lethal than seasonal flu, top health official says"

Seasonal flu has a mortality rate of about 0.1%, compared to coronavirus with a mortality rate between 1 and 2 in the U.S. So pretty close.

This is a very divisive topic it seems. We have some of us taking the covid 19 very seriously, and completely trusting the figures and warnings the media is offering us. Others are not so trusting, while remaining fully aware that there are certainly dangers inherent in this particular virus, with people suffering, even dying. Then we have our share of conspiratorial officianodoes, suggesting the entire thing a deliberate attempt to reduce the world's population to more manageable proportions, with the suggestion even that a reduction of population may help the governments of the world to easier take fuller control, even a global dictatorship at some later stage. Or is the current 'pandemic' an actual embryonic stage of one of the 7 last plagues???

Well, I think all the above have some merit. And perhaps what is going on is a composite of all the above scenarios? Either way, whether a sign of the times, or just another indictment against a sinful world that will pass and be repeated in another couple of hundred years or so, one thing I think we can all agree on.
Regardless of our apprehension... Fear... Cynicism... Or self confidence... This is a situation that ought to be bringing each and every one of us to our knees. For all manner of reasons. First, that God will grant us all wisdom in our own sphere of living, to deal with the situation as we ought. To take care of ourselves and our loved ones. First spiritually, and second physically.
Spiritually, we should be gathering our families about us to pray. That God will lead us into paths and avenues to life and peace, for ourselves and our neighbors.
Physically, it is clearly evident that this virus is particularly effective among the elderly with pre-existing illnesses, such as lung diseases like asthma etc, and diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure etc. These things we can ask God for help with. But we need to do our part. We cannot expect God to heal us of our diseases when our diet contributes to them. He will not heal our asthma if we continue to smoke. Our obesity if we spend our spare time sitting on our butts and not exercising. But this virus we can use to our advantage. To draw us closer to God. To one another. To take our health seriously. Exercise. Good diet. Fresh air. Good sleeping habits. Drink plenty of water. Doing this we give ourselves the best possible opportunity for surviving this virus if perchance it does turn into a genuine pandemic, regardless of whether it's a government conspiracy or not. Remember, the premise to Israel was that God would protect Israel from the diseases of Egypt... If they were obedient. I see no reason why we cannot claim the same promise.

you need to reconsider spreading so much fear. I’m a fearful person. Do you know what reading all that stuff does to my immunity? Stress through the roof. If I don’t die from Covid-19...I’ll die from an over heightened fear of every “run! the sky is falling!” to where I’m so paralyzed I can’t even function. Is that what He wants or calls for? Paralyzed in fear? Are we not as Christians supposed to be comforting and building each other up in hope, of not doom and conspiracy but “he who fears has not been made perfect in love”. Because I can tell you fear does torment and it does sell...
As a Christian, a Born Again Christian, one shouldn't be living in fear, but rather faith and trust. HIs Promise is that He will care for us, no matter what the situation is in your life, in relation to the world and those who are worldly minded.

Now many quote 1 John 4:18, but they apply it out of context. The love being spoken of here iis the Love of God towards us who are saved by faith, and are born again of His Holy Spirit.
1 John 4[15] Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
[16] And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
[17] Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
[18] There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
[19] We love him, because he first loved us.
.
So, if God is dwelling within you, you need to learn to trust Him, as does a little child with their parent(s).
Mark 10[15] Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

So then if you do live in continual fear, it may be that you have not yet entered in to the KoG.
You should seriously look into that.

“I see no reason why we cannot claim the same promise.” Odd you mentioned God said He would protect Israel from the diseases of Egypt because that has been the one going through my mind and cry to God over the pasts couple weeks. He does promise, yeah. “I will not put the diseases of Egypt on you”. But many Christians die of diseases every single day. Agree that there is no reason we cannot claim the same promise. But I have question as it has been on my mind. God has already said the outer man perishes while the inward man is renewed daily. And how it is not a Jew who is one outwardly but one who is inwardly born of the Spirit. Also Paul even spoke of knowing if this house is dissolved 2 Corinthians 5:1-2 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. [2] For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

So between that which is outward perishes and “we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved” ...which has God promised to not put those plagues of Egypt? The New man, or the old? That born after the flesh which persecutes that born after the Spirit ...or that born of Spirit which is promised to remain and not be moved (kept and preserved of God).

We have to put our trust in the Lord and have faith He will see us through.

Once there was a great flood in a rural area, and a man had to get up on the roof of his house. And the water kept rising. A boat came along and they called to him to get in the boat. "No, I'll trust in the Lord to save me" he said.

The water eventually rose over his house, swept him away and drowned him.

In heaven, he asked St. Peter why he wasn't saved. Peter looked in the records.

"Hmmm... says here that He sent a boat to save you."

Trust in God, and use the means He gives you to take care of yourself.

A prominent Northern California mega-church whose members believe their prayers heal the sick and raise the dead is advising the faithful to wash their hands, urging those who feel sick to stay home, canceling missionary trips and advising its faith healers to stay away from local hospitals.

Bethel Church leaders say they’re in close contact with local health officials, but they’re not yet canceling services for the 6,300 people who attend services each week in Redding, one of the largest regular gatherings in far Northern California.

“Through email communications, signage, and church announcements, we are actively encouraging health practices and precautions to our whole community,” Aaron Tesauro, a church spokesman, said in an email. “We believe that wisdom, modern medicine, and faith are meant to work together, and express the value for each in the pursuit of continued health and healing.”

You may have heard of them. . . .

Late last year, hundreds of church members gathered in an attempt to resurrect a 2-year-old named Olive Heiligenthal, hours after the toddler had stopped breathing and died on Dec. 14. Church members gathered to sing, “Come alive/ Come alive/ Come alive, dry bones/ Awake, arise/ Inhale the light.” Thousands of people posted on Instagram with the hashtag #WakeUpOlive.

In October 2008, a Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry student moved to Washington and started a “dead-raising team” that worked with members of the local fire department to pray over bodies found on emergency calls, according to the Redding Record Searchlight.

I can't believe you wrote that. What about people who have it but aren't tested? Would you say it doesn't matter if you are around contagious people because "only positive tests matter"? Some people may have mild cases but can still infect others.

I read Tom Hanks and his wife caught it in Australia. Their son says neither of them are severely sick. That's good; but it's also good they got tested. Now they can avoid giving to other people; and if they start to feel worse, doctors would know what was going on.

It's just telling that the CDC is no longer giving us the number of people being tested. Which was the original point.
