So Trump is excluding medical experts from interagency meetings, in the midst of a pandemic, to minimize hysteria? That makes zero sense.

It borders on criminal. If it can be shown that it was done to save Trump's re-election chances, it is criminal.

Is there any actual proof medical experts that were vital were excluded? Not anonymous sources...
Actually it is less than influenza in its impact:
"So far, the new coronavirus has led to more than 100,000 illnesses and more than 3,000 deaths worldwide. But that's nothing compared with the flu, also called influenza. Prevention is better than cure, and these are all basic commonsense precautions for daily use, not just for coronavirus:
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands; avoid close contact with people who are sick; stay home when you are sick; and clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
But the mainstream media love to create a crisis where none exists, and the Democrats (having learned from Obama) have a motto: Let no crisis go to waste. So there we have it folks. The Sky is Falling.
Typically, flu mortality rates are around 0.1%. The Covid-19 virus seems to have a mortality rate about 15 times that. I can see why public health people are worried. And why the rest of us should be concerned, too.
Sorry, it's rather clear that this is just a virus that mutated to become much more virulent than normal, and can infect humans. You can't sue a virus, or put reality in jail. You can't even make it go away by tweeting.
Can you think of a government action more likely to cause panic, than hiding the truth?
We'll probably never know, since this WH will never release any documents that might make Trump look bad. Maybe we'll find out 20 years after the fact, like we did with Nixon and Reagan.

At the present mortality rate, that's a bit over 1 million deaths. I think it will be a fraction of that, because the mortality rate is mostly measured on the number of infections that make on sick enough to seek medical care. I'm praying that it will be a small fraction of that, but we don't know.
