@theefaith you can prance around these boards and tell us that you are keeping all the commandment if you like, but we know that is impossible for man to do!
It was impossible for those under the Law! But they had something you don't have, they had an alter where they sacrificed the blood of an animal which represented faith in the Blood of Christ. That is where they found Grace and Mercy. That is no longer available for man now that we are under a New Covenant that Christ purchased with His Blood. In fact, God took the sacrifice from the Jews.
Yes, that's the Covenant that you deny!!!!! And also deny the one who gave it to us, Paul!!!!!!
You my friend, are standing naked before God in your sins without any hope at all!
Those under the Law were to do the best they could, and when they failed, they had that animal sacrifice to fall on for mercy. You with your half faith in your ability to keep the Commandments and half faith in the Grace of God, is no faith at all!
Now under this New Covenant anything less than 100% faith in Christ leaves you naked and guilty before God.
Did not James tell us that if are guilty of breaking one Commandment, you are guilty of all? Do you realize what that means? It means you are condemned by the Law to death, that is a Spiritual death, do you know what that means?
So if you are depending your ability to keep the Commandments you better go find an alter where God has established a priest to inspect your sacrifice and then offer it up for you in the Holy of Holies of the tabernacle.
Law keeping demands the ability to sacrifice the blood of animals (which represented Christ as the sacrifice) to stay in the Mercy and Grace of God.
Good Luck!
This is a well-intentioned post; I hope that theefaith reads it and accepts what you have said but -- I have my doubts. He has swallowed the Catholic denomination's doctrine 110% and posts its teachings regularly. He is clearly antisemitic (not realizing that Jesus was a Jew) and goes on and on about "ever virgin" Mary and how the Catholic denomination is "the church".
Still, I hope that your post and your prayers will have some effect.
Don't know. Ask Moses.
.
Neither is a good choice. They're chock full of Catholicism instead of
straight out of the New Testament like the site I recommend.
Go To:
Christ's Laws
BTW: I was a Catholic for 24 years. I'm not about to go back down that road
again. No sir-ee Bob; never again! Me and The Church are permanently parted.

I agree Faith.
worship requires
Adoration:
Propitiatory reparation:
(A priesthood offering a sacrifice)
Thanksgiving:
Petitions:
only the one true church founded by Christ can do this!
There is only one true church!
Are you able to identify that faith Faith? Show me your scriptural identifiers sir

Ever consider that having God as a mate cuts through all the formalities and brings one closer together than religious talk?I hope no one minds.
From the beginning the worship God accepts involves sacrifice Abel offered Sacrifice. Jewish worship was centered on animal sacrifices .
Jesus commands a peretual memorial and meal surrounding His Sacrifice to be done often.
Worship of God in the Judeo/Christian Tradition involves sacrifice. Worship in heaven surrounds the Lamb of God. The Mass; is worship on earth that surrounds the Lamb of God. Yeah, preaching and singing are praise of God.
Worship

1 cor 5:7 …For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Christ is Eternal priest:
Heb 7:17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Christ is High priest:
Heb 7:1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
Low priests / priesthood:
There must be low priests in the same order for a high priest to be over them. And the word in scripture “priesthood” is plural.
The holy sacrifice of Christ:
Holy sacrifice of Christ is offered eternally, the office of a priest is to offer sacrifice, Christ is eternal priest so He offers an eternal sacrifice! Both by the high priest and the low priesthood.
once for all:
once bloody on the cross and for all time unbloody sacrifice, pure offering or clean oblation.
Jesus Christ at the last supper ordained the apostles as priests in the order of melchisedec, to offer His eternal sacrifice as he commanded them; do this in memory of me.
Do this in remembrance of me!
Luke 22:19
And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
1 Corinthians 11:24
And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
1 Corinthians 11:25
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
Malachi 1:11
For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts.
A pure offering:
A Clean oblation:
An Unbloody sacrifice:

Ark of the new covenant: Lk 1:35
New covenant Sacrifice of Christ:
Acts 20:28 Eph 2:13 heb 9
heb 10:19
Priesthood of Christ: heb 7:17

I don't have to consider that quietthinker. I experience it Because that pertains to a relationship between person's the truth of that is visible in my behavior.Ever consider that having God as a mate cuts through all the formalities and brings one closer together than religious talk?
.
I am convinced in my own mind that the Roman Catholic Church is an
imposter, i.e. an identity thief.
"Man has the right to act in conscience, and in freedom, so as personally to
make moral decisions. He must not be forced to act contrary to his
conscience. Nor must he be prevented from acting according to his
conscience, especially in religious matters." (CCC 1782)

So, if you are trying to identify the faith Scripturally, then arrange these passages along with a plausible explanation of who God's people are. Is that what you are trying to do, as you kind of loset me Faith. You used many excellent passages, and some of them do apply to the identification of Jesus' disciples, so continue on sir.

without a temple, ark, priesthood, and sacrifice you cannot worship God!
I have. I believe that is the necessary ingredient for opening hearts to the Gospel.Ever consider that having God as a mate cuts through all the formalities and brings one closer together than religious talk?
