as with the jw , as with any other place that has blended errors with doctrine , it must all be exposed .
Many now even believe the mormon religion are part of us . And you gotta know that is a deadly dangerous blasphemous
doctrine to sit under . As with the RCC .

There, one is taught by the Lord and He washes away things we imbibed that are not of Him, and He begins to renew our minds from scripture to His vision for His body, which is not like man's ways. Well that is my testimony at least. Each soul needs to be listening for and heed the Lord's leading in their life, especially in these perilous days.

Yes, there are pitfalls in the wilderness.....I agree there is always the danger and temptation to depart from the simplicity of Christ and try to "form" something even out of this, instead of trusting and waiting on the Lord, and allowing Him to put to death those kinds of tendencies of the flesh (which is what the dry desert wilderness is for). Moses is a good example, to learn lessons from his life, if the Lord opens one's eyes to it.

The fear of man is a snare to the soul
The fear of GOD is to depart from evil .
The fear of GOD is good , the fear of man is a snare .
Knowing that all God says , every word is good for our soul , that would include His warnings as well .
It is good to always behold BOTH the goodness and severity of GOD .
But in this latter age through a false love we have witnessed the severity of GOD being removed . As a result
a false goodness of God is being taught . And it gets worse by the day and even now by the hour .
Silence TRUTH and evil takes over . Well that do include SILENCING correction .
The call is now made , I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire , be zealous and repent .
For a strong delusion has come to take captive the world and yes even the false within christendom to a lie .
We must have no such part or lott in that lie . Beware it has come in under the guise that it is love
that it is tolerant and loving , that it is OF GOD and it has come to awaken this people to merge as one .
ONLY it aint coming of GOD and it is not the peace n safety that is gonna bring PEACE N SAFETY to this world .
THOUGH those who lead in it surely think this lie is the solution for world peace n safety .

Many , my dear sister , have done just this .
They have long departed from the simplicity of Christ .
And now worship GOD through the precepts of a love that came of the world and not GOD .
Through the doctrines of men this people worship God in vain .
But as for the truth , His lovely words , this love has turned them against Even CHRIST as they have
held to another image of what they see as God and as love . The devil is a liar and knows how to decieve
and he will do so by and through the flesh of man . A love that began to chip away
at His teachings , that pattern , them words . Till now in the name of so called peace , love and tolerance
THEY DO ALL TO REMOVE THE VERY CORNERSTONE of OUR FOUNDATION
and they do so in the name of their god and his love . JESUS has been removed by means of this so called
love , interfaith junk , co exist , bridge builders , ecumincal junk . And worse many have loved to have this so
as they cry away WITH THIS JESUS and preach us our own jesus that embraces our sins and our paths and has made

I would say that knowledge of God rules Christianity. Being born of the Spirit and reconciled to God means we have been reconnected to Him to be able to know/perceive and hear Him now in a living relationship........which includes His due fear/respect, as well as love for Him and love of the truth and all that is righteous and holy and of the light.

Amen. Man being independent of God is the reason for death and evil in the world. Beginning with Adam and Eve in the Garden. Independence through disobedience by definition is what cuts us off from the Lord, who is the only source of Life. We cut ourselves off from Him when we go our own way through sin. That is the indictment against fallen man.....that each one has, unwisely and against the truth, gone his own way. And as the bible says "the way that seemeth right to man leads to death". Old saying that when it comes to man, the solution to one problem is the beginning of another problem....we just have to look around to see how true that is....and scripture is true which says only "the blessing of God addeth no sorrow to it." The Lord is so wise....much wiser and smarter and seeing and knowing than we are. We need to just believe Him, His word, even when we don't yet understand - because our carnal mind is enmity with God and fights against what it can't perceive...the truth.

Giving to God His due fear/respect is certainly part of it, because it is simply based in TRUTH. We better know He is a GREAT KING, the King over all earthly Kings, and give Him what is simply due to Him because He is simply worthy of it, simple as that. If we know what's good for us. Fear of God is our best friend when we need it, when we are under temptation or going astray. That's the only time it comes into play, to my understanding. Otherwise He is the most approachable Being in the universe....we can go to Him with any problem or heartbreak or need. He is like a perfect Father to His children. The goodness of God and the severity of God in perfect balance. So no, it isn't all about fear, but fear of the Lord needs to be part of it because it is simply the truth and fact of life, and it's for our good. God's fear works for both our keeping and also our restoration should we go astray. "Who does the Lord esteem?...he who TREMBLES at His word."

We must not try to reason the fear of God away just because people (as often happens) may have used it in an unbalanced way. Just because people or churches make a mess of something that is perfectly biblical doesn't mean it isn't true. Flesh is always around and causing problems...if we go by what people make a mess of we would have to throw out the whole bible because I'm sure pretty much everything in it has been misused or misapplied along the way. As we grow and mature and crucify the flesh and gain more understanding we hopefully make a mess of things less often.

Not a threat, a promise. Speaking the truth in love of what awaits those who are outside of Christ. Like saying to someone if you go down that road road there is a cliff at the end of it and you will fall and perish, but if you go this way, it leads to eternal life. If you saw someone about to walk off a cliff would you not try to warn them and tell them why that would be unwise?

The devil is the father of lies and works to use negative circumstances like that to cause us to believe lies about the One who is a perfect Father. We all have things we need to overcome in this life in order to arrive at the truth without distortion, so that we can start to see things from heaven's point of view which is higher than ours.

Are you thinking of this verse: "Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men." Because of being in terror for their souls, knowing what awaits those who are not reconciled to God through Christ.

It boils down to spiritual extortion.

Is that supposed to be a free will choice?

Correction need not come with a "spare the rod and spoil the child" method. "If you beat them they will not die" ???
Fortunately, modern parenting has moved away from these barbaric methods.

Withholding something the child wants (not needs), or a reasonable time-out works fine.
No need to mercilessly beat the snot out of our children. "This will hurt me more than it hurts you."
The parent walks away angry. The child is left with huge welts. The marks of their punishment.
