Death is the last enemy to be destroyed AFTER the thousand year reign of Christ on earth with His saints.

1 Corinthians 15:26
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
Revelation 20:14
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
1 Corinthians 15:21-26 declares: “For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.”

1 Corinthians 15:50-54 continues: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”

The prime focus of these passages is “the resurrection of the dead” and the termination of death. This is the time when corruption is finally banished from the earth forever. This is the occasion when the redeemed "inherit the kingdom of God." This is the much-anticipated arrival of the new creation in all its visible, glorious, perfect and eternal glory.

But when does this happen?

Both of these passages demonstrate that this occurs at the “coming” (or parousia) of the Lord, which is described as “the last trump.” It also confirms that this ushers in “the end.” This is the closing curtain of time, sin, corruption and mortality. We are now into eternity. No one could therefore argue with any validity that death is not finally and eternally destroyed at the second coming, the time here denoted as “the end.”

Only the perfected inherit the coming earth

These texts demonstrate that for one to inherit the age and state to come, glorification is necessary: “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.” The kingdom age to come (after this age) is perfect. It is incorrupt. Every vestige of the Fall is removed. No mortal can inherit/inhabit or possess this great incorrupt state. It is solely the domain of the glorified. It is eternal. It is not governed by time, as our age is. Time indeed shall be no more when Jesus returns.

This eliminates the oft-stated Premillennial claim that the unsaved can in fact inhabit the new earth. Regardless of whether one is saved or not, if they aren’t glorified, they cannot inherit the new earth. No mortal shall inhabit it.

It is plain to see from these texts: for man to be able to inherit the new glorified earth – which is totally free of the curse – he must be adequately prepared for it. The eternal state is indeed a prepared place for a prepared people.

Man’s whole sinful makeup must be completely changed in order to allow him to grace it. Every vestige of the Fall must be divested before entering into that new arrangement. This is accomplished by way of glorification. The invisible inner man is not only changed (as in conversion), but Paul speaks of a complete bodily change. Whilst we have “earthly” bodies now, at the Lord’s coming we will have new “spiritual” bodies. Our current bodies that are corruptible must be changed into incorruptible ones, so that no trace of the curse remains. Paul presents glorification as the means by which this supernatural metamorphous occurs.

Our “earthly” bodies will be changed to “spiritual” bodies that are completely devoid of sin and corruption. The saints will undergo the same simultaneous transformation that creation experiences. The creature is thus then adequately prepared to inherit the new incorrupt glorified earth. Both can now live in perfect harmony in God’s new eternal order. This arrangement will never again be blighted by the bondage of corruption. Man and creation enter into a new irreversible eternal arrangement.

Then [Gr. tote]

Let us zoom in on the end of this passage: So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then [Gr. tote] shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” (1 Corinthians 15:54-55).

Here is irrefutable evidence of when “death” is finally defeated and “swallowed up in victory.” It occurs when the redeemed are glorified. It is realized “when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality.” This exposes the Premillennialism paradigm. It forbids its actual possibility. This passage proves that it happens at the second coming of Christ.

Premillennialist writer Alexander Reese confirms the meaning of the Greek word tote in The Approaching Advent of Christ, whilst referring to another parallel second coming passage in Matthew 13:43, saying, “Then (tote, at that time) shall the righteous shine forth.”

So, it is "then" (tote) at the last trump, and not till then, that death is finally defeated. The glorification of the saints at the second coming sees “death” being “swallowed up in victory.” It is here that “death” finally loses its “sting” and the “grave” loses its “victory.” Why? Because “the last enemy” is here eternally “destroyed.” There is no allowance for some supposed future millennium.

The deliverance of the righteous and the destruction of all rebellion

As Jesus comes and rescues ‘the just’ in the twinkling of an eye He also destroys ‘the unjust’. These passages distinctly describe the end. Those “in Adam all die.” The second coming is shown to be the termination of all rebellion. It is the time “when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power." But equally, “in Christ shall all be made alive.” This is the time “when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father.” It is clear that everything is tied up at the end (“His coming”).

The phrase “he shall have delivered up” comes from the single Greek word paradidomi meaning surrender, yield up, intrust, or transmit. This is what happens to the kingdom when Christ comes. He surrenders it to His Father, He yields it up.

The converse phrase “he shall have put down” comes from the single Greek word katargeo meaning: bring to nought, none effect, or abolish.

This is what happens to “all” existing “rule and all authority and power” when Jesus Comes. The rule of man comes to an end and now it becomes the rule of God.

After telling us that Christ’s coming sees the termination of the wicked and their evil operations, the writer tells us that Christ’s reign over His enemies must continue until this climactic point. Whilst “all power” is now assuredly given unto Christ “in heaven and in earth” (Matthew 28:18) through His life, death and resurrection, and whilst through this victorious work “he hath put all things under his feet” in a sovereign manner, we have not yet seen the final subduing of wickedness.

God’s purpose is that the entire creation will be regenerated. That is, the whole universe will be freed from the curse of corruption and degeneration. In intent is to bring a whole new order when He returns that will be marked by righteousness and eternality. A new regenerated creation will welcome a freshly perfected redeemed people. We are therefore looking at universal regeneration.

It’s not what YOU think it should be, but it is as God has declared it to be.

Isaiah 24:6
Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
Isaiah 24:1-7 tells us: “Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left. The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merry hearted do sigh.”

This passage is identifying the awful consequences of the fall and its effect upon creation. Creation and the creature are inextricably tied together on this matter. As such, we should expect the earth to gradually deteriorate in tandem with the degeneration of man. After all, Scripture makes clear that men are going to progressively get worst, not better. We see that reflected in the decaying of the earth like a worn-out overcoat that will soon need replacement.

Premils insist that the “few men” left are unbelievers. But this is definitely not what the text is insinuating. Quite the opposite. It is wicked that are punished and the righteous that are rescued, changed and equipped to populate the new perfect environment.

It would seem sensible to understand the phrase "few men left" here as referring to the elect that are rescued from this destruction. Dr. teachers that there are many are on the broad road; the few are on the narrow road. When the inhabitants of this world are judged, and when the regenerated earth is repopulated, there will indeed be “few men left” (Isaiah 24:6).

Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

Christians today have made the narrow road the broad road and the broad road the narrow road. They preach their messages in such a compromised manner that you would believe: “crooked is the gate, and broad is the way, which leadeth unto life, and many there be that find it.” There are two different peoples in this life, walking two different roads, in two different directions, to two different destinations. The Christian is bound for heaven; the sinner is bound for hell.

In Luke 13:23-28, we see Christ responding to an important question from the disciples, who asked, “Lord, are there few that be saved?”

Whereupon the Lord replies, “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

The saddest reality in this Book is that the majority of people go to hell, the minority inherit the new earth.

Tell me, who are these that are destroyed AFTER the first resurrection and AFTER the thousand years are expired?

Revelation 20:7-9

King James Version

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.”

Are these believers or unbelievers that are devoured by fire?

True, but the natural can be symbolic of the spiritual. Just as water baptism is done by the hands of men, but the Holy Spirit baptism is done by God. Only the Holy Spirit baptism is necessary to bring us into the body of Christ, but water baptism is necessary to fulfill all righteousness. So both the natural and the spiritual have a role to play unto salvation.

Both the destruction by literal water and by literal fire also serves the will and purpose of God, and that is to destroy sinners from off the face of the earth.

There again there is both a spiritual and there is a physical. When we are born again of the Holy Spirit we are made a new creature in Christ by the renewing of our heart/mind/spirit. We have passed from being spiritually dead to being made spiritually alive in Christ. But we are still in this corruptible physical body. And thus also a part of God’s plan is the resurrection of the dead in Christ and being given new incorruptible glorified bodies.

I personally look forward to putting off this corruptible body and putting on a new glorified body.
Thank you for giving me the space to ask questions and to get out thoughts. I could go on and on asking why this and why that. But I’m not going to. It was important to me to ask why you view certain things as you do. I can’t say I understand why. I do get there is the literal which (Imo) points to the Spiritual. Like circumcision made with hands and the circumcision made without hands. Like the temple made with hands and the temple made without hands. I get what takes place on earth is a reflection of what takes place above and in the Spiritual. what I don’t get is …I guess which is true. It’s like when I first started reading the word my only interest was physical healing. What I found was that I needed spiritual healing. Now physical healing pales in comparison to spiritual healing. So I don’t mean to over spiritualize either, I don’t mean to downplay the literal.

Most of the world thinks more on the physical than on the spiritual. But you are right, the physical is just temporary, but the spiritual is Eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:14-18

King James Version

14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen:
Again, reminds me of Paul to the Corinthians saying unto them they do not yet see(their eyes veiled), but he trust they would see and know. What would it be to be given eyes to see what is not yet seen…? Paul seeing the conception of Christ formed in others, the seed God left, being formed in them. That which is unseen yet forming. To where Paul said Christ in him speaks unto them “I will be weak that you be made strong, this we do even for your perfection” —that Spirit given unto us for the perfecting of the body—what a blessing to see that which is unseen rather that what is seen in their calling them a reprobate and as one who fails. the heart of I think …bless those who curse you. Paul I think saw it clearly that which was unseen —yet veiled—in them, the truth held in unrighteousness and helped for the growth of a seed— unto a child —unto a perfect man formed in them.

I think Paul tried to keep an optimistic attitude toward those who were yet carnal calling them babes “in Christ.” Although I myself do not consider one to be truly “in Christ” unless they are born again of the Holy Spirit.

Just as Paul also said in
Romans 8:9
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

So Paul knew to be carnally minded is death, and that those who were born of the Spirit were no longer carnal, or no longer “in the flesh” but yet he referred to the carnal Christian’s as already being in Christ.

To me he was being optimistic so as not discourage any new converts to the faith.

Agree longsuffering, Patience, hope, faith, trust,…enduring hard ground, mercy, grace, forgiveness, rejoicing can all be seen as being optimistic. As God has been optimistic towards us?

I disagree. To me it more than “as babes in Christ” instead see not you hurt the “little children”, and prevent them not in coming to Me. Concerning new converts Paul sets with one who is weak in knowledge of Christ and says if He uses that knowledge of Christ to destroy those weak and without knowledge, then He sins against Christ who died for those weak and without knowledge that they be made strong. In the exchange with the Corinthians to me it’s more than optimism but I think Paul knows whom is able and trust Him and had Faith in Him who is able to do it. To me this is how Paul can say “I trust you will know.” It’s not those calling him reprobate he trust, but Paul sees beyond what is seen into that not yet seen, unseen. Christ formed in them…which is the Hope, the Mercy and Truth.

2 Corinthians 13

King James Version

13 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
2 I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:”

So Paul, depending on his audience could come in love and in the spirit of meekness, or with the rod.

1 Corinthians 4:21
What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?

During the thousand year reign of Christ the earth is to be repopulated by those who are left. We know this because after the thousand year reign Satan is once again loosed to deceive the nations, and gather them to battle against the saints. The number of which is shown in Revelation 20:8 as "the sand of the sea" in number.

So Yes, there will be some people left on earth after the cleansing by fire. We know this by the words of God; just as Jesus said except those days are shortened "no flesh" would survive.” This indicates that some who are still of the flesh will survive.

We are told in 2 Peter 3:7-13 “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat.
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness."

The Lord said He would make man rare in number on earth, like the finest of gold. And He also said a "few men" shall be left.

Isaiah 24:6
Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and "few men" left.

Notice people will still be "sinning and dying" after the new heavens an new earth....

Isaiah 65:17-25 “For, behold, I create "new heavens and a new earth": and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child "shall die"an hundred years old; but "the sinner"being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of
a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.
24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord."

Many believe the above verses from Isaiah are speaking of after the millennial reign of Christ on earth because it speaks of new heavens and a new earth. But notice in verse 20 above there are people who are still "dying and sinning". This cannot be the saints who are of the "first resurrection" because we are told the second death has no power over them.(Rev. 20:6) Also, if people are still "dying" it means the last enemy (which is death) has not been destroyed yet, as shown here....

1 Corinthians 15:26
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
Revelation 20:14
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

So we can only conclude that the passages above from Isaiah 65 are during the millennial reign of Christ on earth. We also see prior to death being destroyed Satan is loosed again and goes out and deceives "the nations"....

Revelation 20:7-8 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to "deceive the nations" which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea."

These revived nations are shown here in Daniel 7:12 "As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for "a season and a time"." (= a thousand years)

In order for there to be "nations" as the number of the sand of the sea, there has to be those who are of "the flesh" that survive the cleansing of fire mentioned by Peter. And these survivors are the ones who can still sin and die during the millennial reign of Christ on earth. These survivors are also the ones who will repopulate the earth during this time. And they are the ones who will be "deceived" when Satan is let loose after the thousand years. So you will have mortals and immortals on the earth at the same time.

It all makes perfect sense when you put all the pieces together. Peace and God bless.
2 Pet. 3:10 has to do with the time after the Millennial Kingdom, when the first heaven and first earth, Hades ( and everyone in it), Death itself, Satan and His demons are destroyed in the Lake of Fire ( which to me is more of an event than a place). Viewed from outer space it would look like lake of fire.

I disagree because Peter is talking about “the day of the Lord” which is prophesied to come like a thief in the night.

2 Peter 3:10

King James Version

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Paul confirms the timing here….

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

5 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.”

Revelation 16:15
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

So it is speaking of the second coming of Christ and the resurrection of the dead in Christ at the last trump at the last day, which happens BEFORE the thousand year reign of Christ.

You overlook 2 Pet. 3:8. "But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

We can look at the Day of the Lord as 1000 years. He returns soon, comes as a thief in the night and reigns for 1000 years - still the Day of the Lord and His final judgment at the end of that time period ... still the Day of the LORD.

The day of the Lord refers to the time of His visitation with His heavenly host to judgment, which comes upon the world like a thief in the night.

Joel 2

King James Version

2 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
11 And the Lord shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it”

The coming of the Lord happens right BEFORE the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the judgement given to the saints seen in Rev. 20.

1 Thessalonians 4:16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

SO this means this current heaven and earth you see NOW will pass away BEFORE the thousand year reign of those resurrected saints on earth.

Pay attention to WHEN this present heaven and earth pass away….

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in (((the which the heavens shall pass away )))with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, (((the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.)))

So this present heaven and earth pass away BEFORE the thousand year reign of Christ seen in Rev. 20
You are making scripture say what you want it to say. The new heavens and new earth clearly are ushered in AFTER the thousand years (and Satan's little season), according to John in Revelation 20-21, and not before as you are trying to claim.

Psalm 10:30 says, The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth."

What earth is the Psalmist talking about? An impending earth that only the righteous can inherit. The wicked are not qualified to inherit the new glorified earth and the perfect age to come. That is because one needs to be glorified to inherit a glorified environment.

Psalm 25:12-13 says: What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.”

The glorified saints are said to inherit the earth. This is assuredly talking about a new glorified earth, not this current corrupt arrangement that they have just departed. Their inheritance is not another period of corruption, rebellion and despair. They have just escaped that. The promised earth in view is actually depicted as a reward for the faithful. It cannot therefore be shared with the wicked.

Psalm 37:9-11 says, “For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.”

This is a truth that is repeated clearly and unambiguously throughout both Testaments.

Psalm 37:22 says, For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.”

Psalm 37:28-36 continues, “For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever ... Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.”

Here, “evildoers” and “the wicked” are synonymous titles that refer to the unrighteous whereas the designations “those that wait upon the LORD,” “the meek” and “His saints” refer to the righteous.

Christ confirmed this in Matthew 5:5 saying, Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”

The meek alone possess the new earth – those that have been redeemed by His precious blood. The meek are the glorified believers. They are the antithesis of the wicked. There are only ever 2 peoples. The meek alone possess the new earth - those that have been redeemed by His precious blood.
Exactly. Peter said the new earth will be where righteousness dwells (2 Peter 3:13). That implies that only righteousness will dwell there. It would have been pointless for him to say that righteousness will dwell there if wickedness also was to dwell there.

Amen. Matthew 25:31-46 portrays the second coming of Christ after which the righteous inherit "life eternal" in the kingdom of God and the wicked are cast into "everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels". As Paul indicated, mortal "flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Cor 15:54). But, premils have mortal flesh and blood inheriting the kingdom of God when Christ returns which directly contradicts what Paul taught.

You are taking 2 Peter 3:8 completely out of context.

2 Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

The context of 2 Peter 3:8 can be seen in verse 9. It is related to how long it is taking for the Lord to come again. Peter was pointing out that He is not being slow to return as some think. They only look at it from the human perspective and think it's been a long time. But, from the Lord's perspective it has not been a long time at all because time does not affect Him. To Him, a thousand years and a day are the same because He created time. He exists outside of time. That verse has nothing to do with the duration of the day of the Lord, but rather with the fact that from the Lord's eternal perspective, He is not being slow to return.

The day of the Lord brings "sudden destruction" upon its arrival (1 Thess 5:2-3) and involves the burning up of the entire earth (2 Peter 3:10-12), so it makes no sense to claim that the day of the Lord lasts for a thousand years.

Right. Surely, the "few men left" cannot possibly be mortal unbelievers because Paul taught that mortal unbelievers will all be killed when Christ returns. He will take vengeance on all of them. There is no indication that any of them will survive. Only believers whose bodies are changed to be immortal will survive.

2 Thessalonians 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; 10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

Whenever I ask someone who believes that mortal unbelievers will survive His second coming to explain what it is about them that would allow them to survive, they never answer. Why would Jesus only take vengeance on most of "them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ" when He returns and not all of them? He said "he who is not with me is against me" (Matthew 12:30), so Jesus Himself did not differentiate between His enemies. Why do premils do that when Jesus Himself didn't do that? They have no answer for this.

They are the unbelievers who are destroyed by fire at His second coming (2 Thess 1:7-9, 2 Peter 3:10-12). The few men left who survive His second coming are believers! The few who are chosen and few who travel the narrow way are believers (Matt 22:1-14). I've asked you multiple times what qualifies any unbelievers to survive His second coming and you don't even attempt to answer the question, which is quite telling.
