The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

It's not a work. It's the opposite. Baptism is a work. Doing good deeds is as work. Confessing Christ and having faith are not.

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

I actually agree with you here. I always find myself in the middle of these discussions, between the OSAS and those who believe we can lose our salvation accidentally by sinning.

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

So I guess I'm off to murder anyone I dislike... doesn't matter to God apparently? We aren't sinners by defination after salvation but we still fall short in many ways. "We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in...

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

Perhaps I was not clear or you misunderstood what I said. I don't believe God drops me like a hot potato every time I sin. I don't believe I fall from grace, ever. I could if I denied Christ and became apostate, but otherwise, no. But sin does interfere with our relationship with God. The...

That has nothing to do with what a trespass is. We are still capable of breaking the law. Even if it's the law of love. Jesus gave lots of commands and explanations of what sin is.

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

Whosoever committeth sin trangresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression against the law.” To trespass means to go beyond the legal boundaries... to violate legal, moral, or social standards. In biblical context, a trespass is going beyond the boundaries God has set. In the Old...

Trespasses are sins, else they would not need forgiven. You seem to like to interrogate but not to reveal anything about your own relationship with God.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

How's it an " assault"? Of course salvation is conditional on our response to God's grace.

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

I just gave you one. I'm not going to confess my specific sins to someone who never gives any personal information out. And I'm quite sure you know the difference between God's righteous anger and our sinful anger so why play these silly games?

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

Being angry and impatient is a common sin of mine.. Ephesians 4:31. These aren't opinions... these are God's word. Not loving your neighbor as you should is a sin.

The normal ones... breaking God's laws, like "love one another" for example. We all fall short. That's what sin is. Missing the mark.

You said you don't sin anymore. If that means something other than what it sounds like, spit it out and quit beating around the bush.

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

I don't believe you. "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

He has. That's why I'm not stuck in Calvinism.

    Really? You don't sin?

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

It's not a formula. It's not Jesus as a direct substitute for me or a few chosen elect people. That's why the ransom theory is more accurate.

I think in some sense he is correct. I've had people use OSAS as an excuse for sinning. You can say they misunderstood the doctrine and I agree, by it still happens. Some treat it as getting their fire insurance.
