MESSAGE TO PHILADELPHIA
[Rev 3:7 KJV] 7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
There is no mention of the church at Philadelphia elsewhere in scripture.
[Rev 3:8 KJV] 8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
Jesus warned that during the tribulation many would be deceived and go after false Christs. Israel would deny the name of Christ and receive another's name. Jesus said they had a little strength and had not denied his name in the tribulation.
[Luk 21:8 KJV] 8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am [Christ]; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
[Jhn 5:43 KJV] 43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
[Rev 3:10 KJV] 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Jesus will preserve them during the hour of temptation which is the great tribulation.
[Rev 3:11 KJV] 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Israel will be rewarded at the end of the tribulation when Jesus, their chief Shepherd, will appear and reward them with the crown.
[Jas 1:12 KJV] 12 Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
[1Pe 5:4 KJV] 4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
[Rev 3:12 KJV] 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, [which is] new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and [I will write upon him] my new name.
Jesus will make the overcomers a pillar in the temple. Israel has the temple not the body of Christ.
Believing Israel will have the name of the city of God, new Jerusalem, written upon them.
[Rev 21:1-2, 14 KJV] 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. ... 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
The new Jerusalem will be inhabited by the believing remnant of Israel. The names of the twelve apostles of Jesus identifies the city with Israel.
