MESSAGE TO THYATIRA
[Rev 2:18 KJV] 18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet [are] like fine brass;
There is no mention in the Bible of the church in Thyatira being a remnant of Israel church, however, there are verses that lend to this being likely.
[Rev 2:20 KJV] 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
There is a Jewish nature to this church in naming the false prophetess Jezebel; Jews would be familiar with the association.
[Rev 2:25 KJV] 25 But that which ye have [already] hold fast till I come.
The book of Hebrews was written to Israel which admonished them to hold fast their profession of faith.
[Heb 4:14 KJV] 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession.
[Heb 10:23 KJV] 23 Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised;)
[Rev 2:26-27 KJV] 26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
Let's unpack these verses.
Who is he that overcometh?
[1Jo 5:5 KJV] 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
A Jew overcomes by believing Jesus is the Son of God. Israel had to believe Jesus is the Son of God for life (John 20:31).
Who will have power over the nations?
[Rev 20:6 KJV] 6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
The believing remnant of Israel will be priests and reign with Christ in the millennial kingdom on earth (Exodus 19:5-6 Isaiah 61:6 Revelation 1:5-6 5:10 1 Peter 2:5 2:9).
That the remnant of Israel will reign in the millennial kingdom is supported by Revelation 2:27 cited above; this verse clearly presents Christ ruling over the nations in the kingdom on earth (Revelation 19:15 Psalms 2:8-9 Jeremiah 23:5 Luke 1:33).
Upon examination there are indications that this is a Jewish remnant church.
