If I'm a sinner how can I be saved?

No, that is not something I worry about. Renewing the mind is simply keeping the scriptures in your mind (reading the bible) and doing them...Love God, Love others...not the huggy bear kind of love, but the sacrificial kind.

It's like this:
all men sin.
The APOSTLES WERE SHOCKED at Jesus' Own Word: about how hard it is for a "rich"(in ENGLISH) man to enter heaven.
THEY SAW and KNEW JESUS,,, (okay, sorry for the caps...) ...
they saw and knew jesus, and they exlaimed to jesus: HOW THEN can we, YOUR OWN apostles, be saved... ?!?!
paraphrased: Jesus Answer: you cannot. ! ! (surprised.... don't give up) ...
You cannot be saved if you trust yourself.
In fact, if you think you have it made, or can make it, you have already failed.
(if you trust your Heavenly Father for Salvation, IT IS DONE ALREADy - already accomplished) ...
Anyone who wants to be my disciple must give up everything and follow ME (JESUS).
Now then - if man did not have to repent, to give up his possessions as well as his sin,

everyone would be saved....
That's not what I said. I said you don't use one verse on a subject to interpret multiple verses on the same subject.
Fact is, there was only one remedy to remit sins.
You inadvertently teach the Apostles died as sinners and went to hell because they cared not to be baptized themselves.

I think you meant no one is supposed to do that, right ?
Obviously several posters /members are doing that. (mistaken understanding because of no revelation from the Father in heaven - believing instead the false teachings from one verse, or more)
No, I look at what the weight of scripture supports. And as I said, even the verses that mention baptism don't state that it saves.
The true teachings available in very few places,
if you can find them - all fully and totally Scriptural,
show how and when and what immersion saves someone from. (as the Bible says , simply look and see in the Bible)
Fact is, all anti baptismalists pit baptism verses against verses they find that speak of salvation, instead of harmonizing them to work together.
This is a horrendous practice, especially since water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is for the remission of sins per Acts 2:38.
Their sins....
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Thank you. That makes sense. For me it is not about the passage or being right about the rich man there. It is the what is impossible with men, all things are possible with God. It is when I (personally) start adding exceptions there in the ‘all things are possible with God.’ doubt comes in, double minded, worry, fear...the moment that seed is planted of exceptions in the ‘all things are possible with God.’ Lately I’ve grown more and more excited for what ‘impossible’ God will do next. Was thinking about it more while going to sleep last night. Thought of Job and jobs possessions and what God said to job. But dropping it. Your explanation helped.

Remember that if Job lived today, ever since the rich man in NT,
Job also would have to give up Job's possessions, all of them,
to follow Jesus.

The giving up all is not so easily defined (imo). For instance, although one can give all their goods to feed the poor, even their body to be burned they can still lack one thing. As He said to that rich man ‘one thing thou still lack’.
Don't try to define/ excuse/ hold on to anything - not even old thoughts, beliefs from a childhood, beliefs from any church or group, worldly treasures even of gold or silver.
Jesus says anyone who gathers, collects, keeps such worldly treasures,
that is where there heart is.
Corrie ten Boom is one of the best, maybe the only example of a woman of God known in the usa and world wide, who was faithful all of her life (and when she sinned, she readily confessed it and repented of it and stopped doing it).
She showed how (as well as all in ACTS showing how (they claimed nothing as if it was their own)...
She showed an outstretched hand, palm open and palm up.
Everything God Gives, be as if in the open hand, open to Him first and before all things.
If He grants anything at all, let it be in the hand, open to Him, trusting Him.
If it is to go, it goes.
If it is to stay, it is only for as long as He Desires it to.
"Nothing is our own" after we are bought and paid for by the BLOOD OF JESUS...
not even our hands, our feet, our clothes, our hearts,
our homes/houses/ cars/ computers/
beds/ refrigerators, children, parents,
all belongs to God - He is The Proper Owner, and it is His Right to Do As He Pleases , totally, with all things and with everything that is "us", as we are HIS, HE IS GOD and LORD.
