In john 6, Jesus said whoever ate it would never die

In matt 26, mark 14 Jesus said take eat. DO OFTEN

So either Jesus was confused on Matt 26 and Mark 14, Or he lied in John 6

While I agree, God does do miracles. And you support this with this post, I do Not think it proves that the Eucharist is a miracle..
Nothing can be proven. That is why they call it belief.

Agreed. And so I will remain in the Faith that was delivered once for all through the apostles, and not embrace some faith expression that came about 1500 years later...

with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another through love,

striving to preserve the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace:

one body and one Spirit, as you were also called to the one hope of your call;

one Lord, one faith, one baptism;

one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all

Because the loaf of bread is one, we, though many, are one body, for we all partake of the one loaf.

Peace be with you!

This is my heart here. I understand your sentiments, but to me these are external shows that affect nothing unless the heart speaks to truth.

Life is not external ceremonies, but what happens in the reality within.
I would describe the difference between you are I is I desire to know God with my whole being, emotionally, spiritually and physically, while you want to follow ceremony as a solution of our lifes dilemmas.

And the dilemma I am talking about is why should someone believe the world is out to kill them and they would better off being dead, because the trauma and emotions are so difficult to live with.

When you are faced with this, one on one, ceremonies and nice ideas count for nothing. Jesus is speaking to us as being emotionally remade, reborn in His Kingdom, with a different set of emotional conclusions, attitudes, outlooks, that walk into death as release to His Kingdom and eternity. He lays out a path for us to have this reality mould and remake us, if we are open and willing, but it is all under our control, until we give up, humble ourselves and dwell in His eternal words and His eternal reality.

So a man comes to me and says I will die. Praise the Lord, the Lord is calling me home, His authority has been passed on to another to bring this to happen.
Such were the apostles. Angels set some free, and others stepped through the door. The point they saw is once you have connected with the creator, things change their perspective and what matters, and who we are to please. God bless you

It can not be proven that Jesus said whoever eats this bread will never die?

John 6:50–51 (NKJV): 0 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

While I agree, proving if the literal flesh is in the Eucharist can not be proven And hats why they call it faith

It does not take faith to understand, Jesus said whoever eats that bread will NEVER DIE, and LIVE FOREVER.

However. it takes FAITH to believe God will keep his word.

Well faith and belief is what it is all about.

I am saddened that you have such a low opinion of me. Do you think this is a fair assessment of my heart?

I, for my part, do not doubt the sincerity of your love for Jesus, and am confident that He will bring you to the feast sooner or later...

Life is not external ceremonies, but what happens in the reality within.

Jesus did not leave us empty ceremonies, but rites that actually convey the reality which they also signify through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are warned against those who hold to empty rituals:

as they make a pretense of religion but deny its power. Reject them.

Peace be with you!

Are you in agreement with my emphasis of love of God?
I regard all else as nothing compared to knowing Jesus.

8 What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ
Phil 3:8

When you meet repentant sinners opening up to Jesus then you begin to see what matters and what does not. It is for you to decide if you heart echoes with my love of Jesus, because that is our touchstone to everything else.

I have learnt that those who have been touched by Jesus know this reality, and the rest end up opposing the spiritual realities I share and know.

God bless you

Indeed beloved,

And there is no more intimate moment (in this world) in which to know Jesus, than when we are known by Him in the reception of the Eucharist.

I tell you these things not because you don't love Him, but because you do!

It is that very Spirit of love that calls us to unity with Him and through Him with each other..

"I pray not only for them, but also for those who will believe in me through their word,

so that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me.

And may He richly bless you as well!

Oh I am well aware, but Satan does not produce counterfeit miracles that draw people closer to the Lord Jesus.

Satan does counterfeit miracles to deceive people and draw people away from God or further away from God.

I believe the Eucharist miracles are of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Point taken. I am not convinced that he does miracles in something that is counterfeit but I could be wrong.

NO he didn't as Jesus would not have told them to do something that was contrary to Jewish Law.
Hmmmm......Sooooooo Jesus didn’t say to the Apostles at The Last Supper “This IS my body/blood...”?

The Old Testament is specific about why one was not to eat blood: “The life of every creature is the blood of it; therefore I have said to the people of Israel, You shall not eat the blood of any creature, for the life of every creature is its blood” (Lv 17:14, cf. Dt 12:23). The Israelites could not eat animal blood because it contained the animal’s life, but there is one Person whose life you must have in you, “ unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you (John 6:53).

1. The GIFT of God is eternal life
2. As for John 11. It says the same thing as aloof in the book of John says

John 3. He who believes will NEVER DIE. But HAS eternal life
John 4. Ask, and out of your heart will flow rivers of living water FLOWING to ETERNAL LIFE
John 5. He who hears and believes has eternal life, and shall not come int judgment but has passed from death to life
John 6. Whoever eats, Drinks/on essence, believes in him. Has eternal life, shall NEVER die Will Live forever, Has passed from death to life. Will live as Long as Jesus lives (forever) and will be ressurected personally by him.
John 7, He who believes out of his heart will flow rivers of living water (the Holy Spirt)
Even in your own passage it says the same

John 11:
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” 27 She said to Him, “Yes, Lord,I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

In fact amazing, She said the exact same thing Peter said in John 6 when jesus asked if they wanted to depart also

68 But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, 69 and we have come to BELIEVE and KNOW you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

It is all the same message through out John

So since we agree on what it means. Can you still die? Have you done what jesus in all of these passages (ask, hear. Believe (faith))?

Or is your life still conditional on things?
I believe I have answered your question multiple times in multiple different ways. I sincerely do not know what else to say or how to say it. Your quoting of multiple passages from Scripture does not cancel out other passages of Scripture.

If you want to ignore the fact that Jesus said we MUST eat his body and drink his blood and then he showed us how to do it then ignore what he said. I refuse to ignore him....I will not join you in walking away like the disciples in John 6:66 did.

Good luck to ya’.....Mary

See here we go again

Jesus said whoever eats his the bread he gave them will NEVER DIE

Did Jesus lie?

You claim you have eaten it correct? Then according to Jesus. You should live forever.
I agree....here we go again. I asked you several questions and you didn’t answer. INSTEAD you ask me a question. :(

Then Jesus lied.
I do not understand why you, and other Christians, take one passage from Scripture and treat it as a stand alone teaching.

When reading ALL of Scripture and taking ALL of it into context about sinning or loosing faith or what it takes to go to hell YES one can die spiritually. There are conditions to one never dieing.

I encourage you to read ALL of Scripture and take it into context!

If a doctor came and said he had a cure, and he could cure you eternally from whatever causes death, And in doing so you could stop taking all these pills which you have to continually take, yet still die. He tells you Take this pill and you will live forever

In faith you take it, Yet you die afterwords

That doctor lied to you, he has deceived you. And should not be trusted
What a bizarre comparison. You are comparing Jesus promise to the promise of a medical doctor. That makes zero sense.

I believe Jesus...Your questioning him. I don’t know why.
