No, God doesn't force anyone to trust Him.False, in order to be given faith you have to be of the chosen seed
I don't believe God made different plans for salvation. I believe He established the new covenant using Jesus and opened it up to the world for whosoever shall enter the new covenant. Covenants have rules, terms, conditions, and they can be broken. This is why the Bible describes salvation as something that can be lost.Everyone's salvation is different, like fingerprints. God expects us to come together as one, even though He created the differences. Jesus told me it had to be this way. That's the narrow road Jesus said to follow, love each other despite the differences we have come to believe.
1 John 4:20 - If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother (in Christ), he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
Then you have not listened to thousands of testimonies, none is the same.I don't believe God made different plans for salvation. I believe He established the new covenant using Jesus and opened it up to the world for whosoever shall enter the new covenant. Covenants have rules, terms, conditions, and they can be broken. This is why the Bible describes salvation as something that can be lost.
Some names need to be mentioned if it helps people know where the false prophet is. Don't you want people to know who to explicitly avoid? It isn't a vain philosophy to protect others. It's the bible, not dropping names. Use the bible to disagree, not name dropping. Paul speaks against that, saying its vain philosophies to drop names.
I will state the problem, and not just say it. " he is a false prophet, because". Don't leave someone hanging without explaining it.Some names need to be mentioned if it helps people know where the false prophet is. Don't you want people to know who to explicitly avoid? Nobody said a thing about God forcing, that came out of left field, a rabbit trailNo, God doesn't force anyone to trust Him.
How are you saved? You did not do a thing; God did it all. Did God force you to be saved? No, God doesn't force anyone to trust Him.
Because he preaches false gospels like limited atonement.I will state the problem, and not just say it. " he is a false prophet, because". Don't leave someone hanging without explaining it.
You said "False, in order to be given faith you have to be of the chosen seed" you're talking about people being given something by God that they neither asked for and possibly never wanted. You are describing God forcing Himself on others without explicitly stating it.Nobody said a thing about God forcing, that came out of left field, a rabbit trail
No God didn't force me to be saved. God told us what to do to be saved, I did it. I kept my end of the deal and He kept His, but the final judgement hasn't even happened for me yet. You and I will stand before our maker, regardless of our beliefs, and give an account. Eternal life will be given to those who are worthy. The final judgement is works-based, not based on election. How are you saved? You did not do a thing; God did it all. Did God force you to be saved?
A great many people in the world do believe in limited atonement, even so, that does not make RC Sproul a heretic as you claimed.Because he preaches false gospels like limited atonement.
I'm sorry, but you cannot save yourself, God has sovereign authority over all aspects of your salvation. No God didn't force me to be saved. God told us what to do to be saved, I did it. Romans 2
5But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11For there is no respect of persons with God.
Yeah, in order to be given Faith you have to be of the Chosen seed of Abraham. Abrahams children as he was are chosen Isa 41:8You said "False, in order to be given faith you have to be of the chosen seed" you're talking about people being given something by God that they neither asked for and possibly never wanted. You are describing God forcing Himself on others without explicitly stating it.
Your comment is absurd. Isaiah 41:8,9 is about them being chosen as servants. I believe in some venues among those well read in Scripture, they would be laughing at you.Yeah, in order to be given Faith you have to be of the Chosen seed of Abraham. Abrahams children as he was are chosen Isa 41:8
But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
Nothing about force, you comment is from left field and franky silly
Grace is accessed through your faith, not God's faith.I'm sorry, but you cannot save yourself, God has sovereign authority over all aspects of your salvation.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace (you didn't deserve it) you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Your point seems to be that high numbers mean something is true?A great many people in the world do believe in limited atonement, even so, that does not make RC Sproul a heretic as you claimed.
The scriptures are related, those who were chosen in Christ are also the seed of abraham Gal 3:29Your comment is absurd. Isaiah 41:8,9 is about them being chosen as servants. I believe in some venues among those well read in Scripture, they would be laughing at you.
Isaiah 41
8“But you, O Israel, My servant,
Jacob, whom I have chosen,
descendant of Abraham My friend—
9I brought you from the ends of the earth
and called you from its farthest corners.
I said, ‘You are My servant.’
I have chosen and not rejected you.
ok let's try it again. For by Grace (you don't deserve it), you have been saved through Faith (in Jesus Christ) and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God (faith in Jesus Christ), not of works (something you do), lest anyone should boast (saying you had something to do with your salvation).Grace is accessed through your faith, not God's faith.
Romans 5
1Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we stand. And we rejoiceb in the hope of the glory of God.
John 6
28Then they inquired, “What must we do to perform the works of God?”
29Jesus replied, “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.”
Yes. If a great number of Christians worldwide believe it why not. However, it is not a determination of eternal life through Jesus Christ.Your point seems to be that high numbers mean something is true?
