If Jesus covered everyone's sin they would not have to pay the wages=death, but they do.

In the verses you quoted, the "few" who Christ mentions are the Elect, the First Fruits of Christ's harvest of mankind. They find the narrow gate to salvation because they are the only ones who Christ will convert in this age. They will reign with Christ in the final age over the balance of unsaved mankind for the purpose of judging and bringing in the full and final harvest of mankind.

The Feast of Weeks (First Fruits) foreshadows the day of salvation of the Elect when they are harvested into the Kingdom of Heaven in this age. The Feast of Ingathering (Tabernacles) foreshadows the great day of salvation for the balance of mankind in the final age (year's end).

These verses apply:

1Sam 12:17 Is it not wheat harvest to day? I hear your passion and love for Christ in your post. When I read it, my heart filled with joy. And yes, what a great day the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles will be when all our unbelieving family and friends become our brothers & sisters in Christ. That day will come but it does requires faith to believe it will happen.

You mentioned God's overall "plan of salvation" for mankind. I teach about it frequently on this forum but most do not have the ability to receive it. However, that ability will be given to them someday; either in this age or in the final age in the Lake of Fire.

Question: Do you understand the details of how Christ saves His Elect in this age?

The details are contained in the parables, analogies, types and prophecies of the New Covenant. The pathway to salvation is not has simple as most believe.

Don't you know that Christ's death on the cross earned Christ the keys to death and hell? Now, all mankind will be resurrected from the grave. Those who have been spiritually resurrected/converted (the sheep) before they physically died will be found in the Lamb's book of life. Those who were not converted will not found in the book of Life and will go to judgment in the Lake of Fire. However, before the "lost" in the Lake of Fire perish (the true penalty of sin), Christ will have mercy upon them. Why? Because Christ loves His enemies and blesses them.

Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun (the Sun of Righteousness) to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain (both the Early & Latter Rain) on the just and on the unjust.

When the Sun rises upon the "lost" in the Lake of Fire, it will bring "healing in His wings":

Before any of the "lost" perish in the Lake of Fire, Christ will have mercy upon them and bless them with the Early & Latter Rains of the Spirit. With the Spirit, they will have faith and will make a confession of faith because the Spirit will change their heart.

1Cor 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.

Prov 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man (by the Early & Latter Rains), and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

The Early & Latter Rains of the Spirit will give each "lost" person a new birth as a child of God who will be gathered to heaven. The child of the Devil (who they used to be) will remain in the Lake of Fire to perish. This death will satisfy justice.

It is with this type of judgment that Christ loves His enemies and blesses them. Your understanding of judgment is one of the "perverse things" (Acts 20:29-31) that Paul warned would be coming into the church. You have perverted judgment.

Prov 28:5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.

Job 34:12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

There is no love or mercy in the perverted judgment that you have assigned to Christ's judgment. Your beliefs bring Christ down to the level of mankind. Where is your shame?

Jer 3:3 Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no Latter Rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.

Please reflect on what I presented above. And when you pray, ask for more faith and understanding. God is the giver of good gifts to those who ask.

Dear One2question,
I hear your passion and love for Christ in your post. When I read it, my heart filled with joy. And yes, what a great day the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles will be when all our unbelieving family and friends become our brothers & sisters in Christ. That day will come but it does requires faith to believe it will happen.

You mentioned God's overall "plan of salvation" for mankind. I teach about it frequently on this forum but most do not have the ability to receive it. However, that ability will be given to them someday; either in this age or in the final age in the Lake of Fire.

Question: Do you understand the details of how Christ saves His Elect in this age?

The details are contained in the parables, analogies, types and prophecies of the New Covenant. The pathway to salvation is not has simple as most believe.
