Even those who choose to detest Jewish monotheism are forced to concede that the man is theologically a unitarian.

His God is only one person, the Father. That hasn’t changed and never will.

Jesus was bodily resurrected from gravedom, and he’s still a Jew.

He showed himself as he had been to his disciples to make it clear it was himself that had been resurrected!

But, soon after, after he was bodily resurrected?
He ascended back to Heaven...
To Heaven, where he was then transformed into his glorification!

Since glorified?
No longer are we to know him after the flesh!

Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh.
Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh,
yet now we know Him thus no longer." 2 Corinthians 5:16

We need to first put the pieces together to get the big picture.
You insist upon knowing him after the flesh.

He still has flesh and he still has a God. He is still a Jewish monotheist.

Put the pieces together correctly and we’re left with the Messiah’s Jewish monotheism. Put them together incorrectly and we’re left with a theology which isn’t the Messiah’s Jewish monotheism.

You made your choice. I made mine. Jesus, himself still a Jewish monotheist, will handle it.

Reasonable -> interpret all scripture written by Jews as if it were written by Jews. Allow it to retain its Jewish meaning.

Unreasonable -> interpret all scripture written by Jews as if it were not written by Jews. Deprive it of its Jewish meaning.

What kind of flesh will those who are bodily resurrected to life (or changed in an instant, if alive) have when Jesus returns? Paul, himself a Jewish monotheist, provides the answer.

“They will have no flesh when they are bodily resurrected (or changed in an instant, if alive) when Jesus returns” is an anti-Jewish monotheism reading of scripture.

The one God was always the God of Jewish monotheism in biblical days @GeneZ. The Hebrew Bible and the New Testament confirm it. You had it and turned your back on it. Jesus had it and still does. I didn’t have it. Now I do.

Galatians 3:28a

There is neither Jew nor Gentile......

You have yet to find out what "the new creation in Christ" is about!

It does not say... Behold! All things remain old as they were.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away;
behold, all things have become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17

"He is a new creation? - no longer a Jew!

Jews on earth do live today to be preserved by God to brought into the promised Millennium of God on earth.

But, now is the Church age.

FYI...

My name was "Yidel ben Myer."
I used it when I was called up to stand before the Torah.

That’s a false accusation based on an anti-Jewish hermeneutic.

It does not say... Behold! All things remain old as they were.

Non-Jewish theology doesn't match with the Messiah’s Jewish theology.

@GeneZ you walked away from Jewish monotheism and imagine that Jesus did the same thing to justify your action. Jesus didn’t do what you’ve done.

In biblical times, anyone who did what you’ve done chose idolatry and rejected the one God.

The choice in the Bible is between Jewish monotheism and idolatry. That’s it.

We’re all living beyond biblical days, in post-biblical days. I’m living biblical days in our post-biblical day and you’re not.

Biblical theology is Jewish. Christianity began as a sect of Judiasm.

Post-biblical theology isn’t Jewish. Christianity eventually split off from Judaism.

After the split, not before, Jewish theology was rejected by Christianity.

How soon after the split?

Let's make this simple then...

You are not Christian.
Yet you come here as if you have authority over Christians, in a Christian forum...

That’s potentially misleading, but needn’t be. Only primitive Christianity is Jewish. Christianity, as Church history documents, didn’t remain Jewish.

I’m registered “Other Faith,” not “Christian”.

This particular forum is one that is not marked “Christians Only”. (If it were, I wouldn’t be allowed to post in it.)

I have no authority over any member, “Christian” or “Other Faith”.

Christianity has its foundation in Judaism.

It is now beyond Judaism, as Judaism remains frozen until God thaws you out.

Christianity has its foundation in Judaism.

That’s a historical fact.

It is now beyond Judaism ….

That too is a historical fact.

…. , as Judaism remains frozen until God thaws you out.

That’s false. The Jewish sect founded by Jesus (primitive Christianity - called “the Nazarene sect” in Acts 24:5) is small but not frozen. It’s hammered by Christianity (which went beyond Judaism) and by the other sects of Judaism (just as it has always been).

You didn’t leave Judaism to join primitive Christianity / the Nazarene sect of Judaism. You left Judaism to join post-biblical, developed, Christianity, which went beyond Judaism.

I did not "leave" Judaism.
I simply accepted that Jesus died on a Cross, and did so to take upon Himself the penalty for sins.
I still thought I was a Jew for years after having done so...

I just could not figure out why I was having dreams and visions until ten years later.

You aren’t a Jew and you left the Judaism you were raised in - the Judaism which rejects the sect of the Nazarene, primitive Christianity.

I simply accepted that Jesus died on a Cross, and did so to take upon Himself the penalty for sins.

I accepted the same when I was a Southern Baptist. I still accept it as a Jewish monotheist.

I still thought I was a Jew for years after having done so...

You were deceiving yourself.

I just could not figure out why I was having dreams and visions until ten years later.

We could not understand the atonement of the Cross without understanding the symbolism found in the Law, which was a shadow of the realty that Jesus was to fulfill.

I once wrote a letter to my Jewish parents, telling them to prove that Christianity is not Jewish in its backbone.
If they could, I said I would denounce my Christianity. They never did.

I was given that letter (which I had forgotten about) by a niece, who found it after my mother passed away.

I accepted the same.
