This thread/subject is close to my heart, and a real blessing to me and to most I imagine; especially those already in Christ.

It should be an uplifting topic of discussion that every genuine Christian should love to share as they experience these promises in their lives, even daily.

These promises of the Father, and especially through his Son today, point to his overflowing love, mercy and his desire to restore our relationship with him.

He loves us way beyond our limited view of his divine and unique love, and speaks volumes about his character that desires to be in all of us, through his special glorious Son. The Son does a lot of the 'heavy lifting' these days for his Father....

Here's but a couple of my favorites:

(Isa 41:10) don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.

This was not only being fulfilled in the Old Testament, also through his right-hand, of his Son today.

This is my security blanket in life. A real life-saver when all I can do at times is to throw up my hands in the air and give thanks to my Father, and stay still and quietly pray, sometimes in tears, as I also acknowledge my friend and master, my Jesus who cried out and said 'it is finished,' in the process.

(Rom 8:28) " And we know that to them that love God, to them that are called according to His purpose- all things work together for good. "

This is a very encouraging verse for my personal life, knowing that God our Father will provide good things for his own benefit and glory, and even for my consideration in this life.

Please feel free to chime in and add more and tell the reason you chose them.

Blessings and good fortune come your way, as we give thanks to God for being eternal and the architect of our lives, as our only true Father of all.

I might not be remembering correctly but as I recall, the first verse I was taught in Sunday School as a child was John 3:16. Later we were asked to memorize and recite it. I was raised KJVO, so here is how it was ingrained in my mind -

”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Much later in life (forty years or so) I ceased being KJVO. Now when I read John 3:16 in any translation, here is how it sounds in my mind when I ruminate on it -

“For this is the way my God and Father in heaven loves the world: He gave his only begotten Son, so that every person who believes in Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah, should not perish but have the life of the age to come.”

God does keep his promises but conditions apply to many of them for instance, 'If my people . . . '
