Considering that women should have had EQUAL RIGHTS that men had....at the hands of men...and how at least SOME men are now coming around to realize the error of their ways.....

Lett me remind you of something, dearheart. The Bible....that is, Genesis 2:24 says, "A MAN shall leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife." It does NOT say, "A WOMAN shall leave HER father and mother and cleave unto her HUSBAND"

And yet, patriarchal societies do the opposite.

Have you figured out WHY it's a 'mystery' YET?????

I agree. Honestly, being a wife and a mother are a very high priority for me. It brings me joy, and I am fulfilled in that role. I miss being pregnant and having babies. I'm in awe over my grandbabies! They are the best ....I almost have no words for how precious they are!!!

And yet, I know what an unhealthy, imbalanced, abusive marriage looks like. I have served my husband till it hurts and nearly brought to the point of death, and through things most women wouldn't have stuck through. But I do see my marriage as a ministry. And ...God has the final say. And you know what I mean, as I have shared a lot with you. I don't want to displease God. I want to do my best (as faulty as I am) to make sure he is okay ....know what I mean? I think you do.

Anyway.... I understand that not all women are to be wives and mothers and they can serve God being single without children, and be fulfilled.

In the FIRST creation story, God created men and women as EQUALS. A simultaneous creation. Gave THEM dominion over the earth and animals, too.

Sorry to say that mostly MEN have taken this whole "and he shall have dominion over you" as some COMMAND from God....and not as a prediction. God has done this before....in numerous places in the bible.

God never directly told ADAM, "he shall have dominion over you". God never told Eve, "Adam will have dominion over you and you shoud obey him" Basically, God FORETOLD what was going to happen...


And it's happened ever since then Sorry to say, but there ARE a lot of men out there who blame GOD for creating woman in the first place.

No, I don't believe God is unfair to women. Men are often unfair to women. But I believe God has a heart for us that most men don't understand.

I know His heart for me is for good and not for evil. I've known Him from age 13. He has kept me through many things. When I surrendered my heart to Him, it was like He wrapped me up in Himself and sheltered me, although my life was filled with much trauma.

I've heard His voice. Even before I surrendered, I heard the LORD calling me by name, to follow Him. He called me for 3 years until I finally surrendered at age 13. I have experienced His presence ...His love being poured out over me and into my heart so intensely all I could do is weep, and weep. And He still does this to this day. I know He loves me. And because I have experienced Him, I can ask Him hard questions ....and He leads me into His Word. His Word is a lifeline. When we're bombarded with so many messages and opinions that bring confusion, He calls us to His side, and opens up His Word ....and shows us things that no one can take away from us.

Anyway, I got onto a ramble. No, sis ...I don't believe God is unfair to women. He cherishes us. He cares. It is men who are unfair. But I'm willing to wait on Him, and in the meantime, He asks me to pray, and minister. I know He has a plan for me. I'm walking that out ....carefully. If we follow Him, we will suffer. And you know ....love suffers.

I am not saying God requires a woman to be used and beaten, tortured, etc ...in a marriage. There are some things we can do (separation, for example).

Sister, I have to wait on Him. Anywhere I go, it is the same... until God does it. And He will. Until then, I trust Him, and I trust His heart for me.

Yes. Evil ideologies, like feminism, should be judged. What else do you suppose is the application for the Biblical command? Matthew 10:16 be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. OR

Don't let anyone fool you by using senseless arguments. These arguments may sound wise, but they are only human teachings. They come from the powers of this world and not from Christ.

Condemning evil ideologies of this world is not prohibited in Scripture but commanded. Perhaps you have not read my many posts where I point out that feminists often use women as a defense against the evil ideology they hold, pretending a judgment against it is condemnation against women. Not so.

OH i would agree dear friend .
So now i have a real simple question for each and everyone of us to ponder and pray about .......
SEEING IT IS TRULY GOD , HIS CHRIST we are to LOVE above all
To worship in the beauty of holiness ,
To put first
WHY do so many seem to treat His words like THEY JUST dont matter . Cause i sure dont see the LOVE for GOD in all of that .
DOESNT charity rejoice IN THE TRUTH . Yes it does .
