Seems some here still believe in 2 judgment days as shown by they believe in 3 separate resurrections (Christ, His saints, the wicked).
Christ is the first resurrection from the dead, to be resurrected means to have been given a living glorified body.
The resurrection of all people living and dead happens at his appearing and kingdom when they are judged. Why disagree with scripture?
'Graves' is referring to bodies, not spirits. At death a body is said to have 'fallen asleep' in scripture, so as you see this is the resurrection, ours and theirs, all people.
28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming
in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice
29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation
The spiritually alive in Christ when resurrected are given a new glorified body like Christ has, they have the resurrection of life.
Notice it says 'when He is revealed', that is at His second appearing and kingdom is when we get a glorified body, 'we shall be like him'.
1 John 3
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of [
a]God! Therefore the world does not know [
b]us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be,
but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
The spiritually dead when resurrected also are given some kind of body, one that endures the lake of fire, if you believe in eternal conscious torment forever and ever, they have the resurrection of condemnation.
