Brethren in Christ Jesus, one of the Bible prophecies for the end of this world is the rebuilding of the traditional Jewish temple in Jerusalem, a 3rd stone temple. What events written in God's Word make the building of a 3rd temple in Jerusalem a Biblical fact?

Firstly, the placing of the "abomination that maketh desolate" IDOL per Daniel 11:31, by the final Antichrist at the end of this world, was quoted by Lord Jesus about 200 years after many supposed that Antiochus Epiphanes already fulfilled that back in 165 B.C. (See Matthew 24:15 and Mark 13:14 as signs Jesus gave about the end of this world.) It is that event that will kick off the coming "great tribulation" time at the end of this world. That abomination idol is to be placed in a standing traditional Jewish stone temple in Jerusalem, one that is not there yet today in Jerusalem.

Secondly, the Orthodox unbelieving Jews today understand the Zechariah 6 prophecy that the prophesied Messiah will build the temple when he comes...

Zech 6:12-13
12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying,
Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:

13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
KJV

Our Lord Jesus Christ is that "BRANCH" above. He is the BRANCH out of the stem of Jesse, per Isaiah 11. He is the "righteous Branch" and "King" raised unto David per Jeremiah 23:5 and Jeremiah 33:15. Notice also per the above Zech.6:13 verse that He shall sit and rule upon His throne, and also be a Priest upon His throne. No flesh king has ever... been both... a king and priest upon an earthly throne, not literally. But Lord Jesus will be.

That above Zech.6:12-13 Scripture is for when Lord Jesus Christ returns. And Jesus will not literally return until the last day of this present world.

Yet today's Orthodox Jews do not accept Jesus of Nazareth as the Biblically prophesied Messiah to come per The Old Testament prophets. They are still waiting for Messiah to come. Thus they believe when Messiah does come, He will build the temple, so... those Orthodox Jews in today's Jerusalem are preparing... the materials in order to build their 3rd stone temple in Jerusalem.

The sad problem those Orthodox Jews are going to run into in our near future is the fact that Christ and His Apostles have already warned that a false-Messiah is going to come to Jerusalem first, prior to Christ's return (Matthew 24:23-26; 2 Thessalonians 2). But of course the Orthodox Jews don't believe on Jesus of Nazareth as The Christ, so they don't listen to Him and His New Testament warnings about the end of this world. And some of the Orthodox religious Jews in today's Israel still will burn New Testament Bibles, they hate Jesus so much.

Jesus was referring to Daniel 9:26-27, not Daniel 11:31, and it related to the destruction of the second temple in 70 AD. There is no prophecy in the Bible about an imaginary third physical temple in Jerusalem.

No, He will not. His kingdom is not earthly, it is heavenly and spiritual. It does not come with observation (Luke 17:20) and is not worldly (John 18:36).

You do have it right that He is the BRANCH, but the temple He built is the church, not some useless physical temple.

Matthew 16:18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

Ephesians 2:19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

So, you are believing the same thing that unbelieving Jews, who have no understanding of scripture, believe in terms of thinking that the Bible prophesies about a third physical temple. Think about that.

I'm stocked up on popcorn.

Sozomen (ca. A.D.375-447)
"Ecclesiastical History"
Book V, Chapter XXII

Though the emperor [Julian the Apostate] hated and oppressed the Christians, he manifested benevolence and humanity towards the Jews. He wrote to the Jewish patriarchs and leaders, as well as to the people, requesting them to pray for him, and for the prosperity of the empire. In taking this step he was not actuated, I am convinced, by any respect for their religion; for he was aware that it is, so to speak, the mother of the Christian religion, and he knew that both religions rest upon the authority of the patriarchs and the prophets; but he thought to grieve the Christians by favoring the Jews, who are their most inveterate enemies. But perhaps he also calculated upon persuading the Jews to embrace paganism and sacrifices; for they were only acquainted with the mere letter of Scripture, and could not, like the Christians and a few of the wisest among the Hebrews, discern the hidden meaning.

Events proved that this was his real motive; for he sent for some of the chiefs of the race and exhorted them to return to the observance of the laws of Moses and the customs of their fathers. On their replying that because the temple in Jerusalem was overturned, it was neither lawful nor ancestral to do this in another place than the metropolis out of which they had been cast, he gave them public money, commanded them to rebuild the temple, and to practice the cult similar to that of their ancestors, by sacrificing after the ancient way. The Jews entered upon the undertaking, without reflecting that, according to the prediction of the holy prophets, it could not be accomplished. They sought for the most skillful artisans, collected materials, cleared the ground, and entered so earnestly upon the task, that even the women carried heaps of earth, and brought their necklaces and other female ornaments towards defraying the expense. The emperor, the other pagans, and all the Jews, regarded every other undertaking as secondary in importance to this. Although the pagans were not well-disposed towards the Jews, yet they assisted them in this enterprise, because they reckoned upon its ultimate success, and hoped by this means to falsify the prophecies of Christ. Besides this motive, the Jews themselves were impelled by the consideration that the time had arrived for rebuilding their temple. When they had removed the ruins of the former building, they dug up the ground and cleared away its foundation; it is said that on the following day when they were about to lay the first foundation, a great earthquake occurred, and by the violent agitation of the earth, stones were thrown up from the depths, by which those of the Jews who were engaged in the work were wounded, as likewise those who were merely looking on. The houses and public porticos, near the site of the temple, in which they had diverted themselves, were suddenly thrown down; many were caught thereby, some perished immediately, others were found half dead and mutilated of hands or legs, others were injured in other parts of the body. When God caused the earthquake to cease, the workmen who survived again returned to their task, partly because such was the edict of the emperor, and partly because they were themselves interested in the undertaking. Men often, in endeavoring to gratify their own passions, seek what is injurious to them, reject what would be truly advantageous, and are deluded-by the idea that nothing is really useful except what is agreeable to them. When once led astray by this error, they are no longer able to act in a manner conducive to their own interests, or to take warning by the calamities which are visited upon them.

The Jews, I believe, were just in this state; for, instead of regarding this unexpected earthquake as a manifest indication that God was opposed to the re-erection of their temple, they proceeded to recommence the work. But all parties relate, that they had scarcely returned to the undertaking, when fire burst suddenly from the foundations of the temple, and consumed several of the workmen.

This fact is fearlessly stated, and believed by all; the only discrepancy in the narrative is that some maintain that flame burst from the interior of the temple, as the workmen were striving to force an entrance, while others say that the fire proceeded directly from the earth. In whichever way the phenomenon might have occurred, it is equally wonderful. A more tangible and still more extraordinary prodigy ensued; suddenly the sign of the cross appeared spontaneously on the garments of the persons engaged in the undertaking. These crosses were disposed like stars, and appeared the work of art. Many were hence led to confess that Christ is God, and that the rebuilding of the temple was not pleasing to Him; others presented themselves in the church, were initiated, and besought Christ, with hymns and supplications, to pardon their transgression. If any one does not feel disposed to believe my narrative, let him go and be convinced by those who heard the facts I have related from the eyewitnesses of them, for they are still alive. Let him inquire, also, of the Jews and pagans who left the work in an incomplete state, or who, to speak more accurately, were able to commence it.

There is no prophecy in the Bible about an imaginary third physical temple in Jerusalem.

That's why the preterists are all gonna be shocked when all this happens in the near future

No, He will not. His kingdom is not earthly, it is heavenly and spiritual. It does not come with observation (Luke 17:20) and is not worldly (John 18:36).

And then at the end of this age.... the Lord manifests His Authority and Kingdom in this physical world:

Revelation 11:15
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

I'm not a preterist. You don't have to be a preterist in order to not believe in that third temple nonsense. If such a temple is ever built, it has nothing to do with any Bible prophecy.

But, notice how it talks about not just Jesus, but the Father as well. That is because that is when Jesus will hand over the kingdom He rules over now to the Father at that point, so that will be when eternity is ushered in.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. 24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.

Matthew 13:40 “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.

Earlier you said "His kingdom is not earthly" which is the case at this point in time but is not the case in the future when the Father takes over and moves Heaven to the new earth... so nice back peddle there smile-grin2.gif

Uh huh, so you'll be shocked when the anti-chrsit takes over the temple Israel builds... and in it he declares to the world that he is God.

You'll either be shocked or deceived in to thinking it's actually the Lord having return and follow the anti-chrsit by taking his mark

LOL. As if I care how something sounds to you with the way you misunderstand so many things. I will tell you what I believe. You don't tell me what I believe. Okay, buddy?

Is this all you have in response to what I said? I'm not back peddling at all. Are you unable to understand anything? I'm talking about when the kingdom is called His (Jesus's) kingdom. Never when it is called His kingdom will the kingdom be an earthly one. At that point at the end of the age when Jesus returns will be when He hands it over to the Father and it will no longer be called His kingdom, but will be referred to as "the kingdom of their Father", as Jesus pointed out here:

Matthew 13:40 “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Total nonsense. How could I think the Lord has returned on the earth when I know we will meet Him in the air? LOL. Get a clue. You've obviously bought into all the dispensationalist nonsense that you've read. There is no individual antichrist. You don't even carefully read what the verses which contain the term "antichrist" say which is that anyone (not just one person) who denies Christ is an antichrist.

And, if you're referring to 2nd Thess 2:4, how could some temple that Christ rejecting Jews build be called "the temple of God"? That's complete nonsense. No such temple could be considered God's temple. No chance. Paul taught that we, the church, are the temple of God (Eph 2:19-22, 1 Cor 3:17, 2 Cor 6:16), so 2nd Thess 2 should be understood accordingly to be talking about people in the church falling away and deciding that they are their own God instead of following after the one true God. You need to learn how to interpret scripture with scripture.

Those who think 2 Thessalonians 2:4 is referring to a physical temple must actually have a low opinion of Paul because they apparently think that he was not consistent with his use of terms for some inexplicable reason. But, of course, we know that he was consistent in his use of terms and, therefore, 2 Thess 2:4 cannot possibly be referring to a physical temple building and is instead referring to the church since every time he used the term "naos" he used it spiritually to refer to individuals in the church or to the church collectively.

Plans For The 3rd Temple Progressing:
See the following Jewish website on the continued plans to build their 3rd temple in Jerusalem...

When the armed forces place the abomination of desolation in n Jerusalem, there won't be much left of anything that is destructible.
If anyone is in Jerusalem that day, they had better become indestructible really fast.

The king of the norths armed forces use weapons to cause desolation.

There won't be much of anything left in Jerusalem after they set up their weapon. It will look much like Hiroshima after it was set there.Talk about sudden destruction. So sudden that they shall be consumed as the stand on their feet.

Daniel 11:31
31 “His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.
