True. Correction warranted.
No worries about that my friend . My main concern is folks dont follow the abraham faith accords .
Have they began pushing that agenda into your church yet , if not , look out its coming .
They aim to have a one world religoin that serves a one world govt . And though a false love they gonna get it too .

Yep, know about that. Our church my friend is right on top of all this news. They have a flash new building in the middle east somewhere. UAE? Can't remember. But yeah, is a scam but there are many who will think it's a wonderful thing and a vehicle to bring peace and safety into the world. Unfortunately, it will bring the opposite. It will give power and approval to the Antichrist, who has been the instigator and designer of the whole shebang.

There's no second chances.
From my perspective, nothing is left to chance.
We can't be trusted with garnering our own salvation; God did that for us.

1 Timothy 4:10 NIV
That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God,
who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.

From the OP.

The question is: Deconstruction; how far is too far?
- Should we NEVER question our faith?
- Are reasonable questions with biblical answers okay?
- Is it okay to ask the really tough questions?
- Are there questions that would offend our brothers and sisters of the faith?
- Should we be concerned about easily offend folks when we need answers?
- What sort of questions are out-of-bounds for a Christian to ask?
- Should a Christian pull away from church to seek answers?
- Should a Christian leave church all together if they can no longer cope?

Let's discuss.

DECONSTRUCTION is about re-evaluating our religious upbringing.
Long before this term emerged, Catholics were converting to Protestantism, and vice versa.
In fact, a person coming to Christ in this life deconstructs from their previous life.
DECONSTRUCTION is not the enemy, except to those who uphold tribalism loyalties.

Truth should be our goal and God's inspired eternal word is all truth and there is no other.
STAY DUG IN the bible . for many decievers do abound and in order to have desciples of men
they must twist and or omit certain scriptures . Many there be which have twisted scripture unto their own destruction .
And many there be which love to sit under such men .

It'll take courage and self honesty but be assured, any measurable growth takes this path while God's Spirit underpins it and cheers it on.

We can talk about the methods to any destination till the cows come home but who can talk of the one who embodies the destination? ....and what it is that has attracted one to the one who embodies the destination?....if he is attractive at all?

The Jews were all caught up with their methods. It consumed them but the God who they paid lip service to was far from their minds. They used his name to forward their own agendas and felt justified in their exclusivity.
Does this approach ring a familiar bell?

That's an interesting point for discussion. A "true" versus a "false" confession.
What would qualify each?

How many claim to be Christians now that would qualify as "false" confessors? (fire insurance?)
Meaning, they are only Christians because of an extortion style gospel message. ("believe" or burn)

Perfect set-up for my next question, thanks.

Are you familiar with the Harrowing of Hell?
On revision of recent discussion... can't even remember commenting is been so long... you are aware that we aren't judged according to our confession, profession, or even faith, but we are judged according to our works right? So of our works are done righteous, we can assume, and God would agree, that those works are a result of fruit of a genuine confession.

We can't be trusted with garnering our own salvation; God did that for us.
Of course, salvation, righteousness, and therefore eternal life, all come as a gift. But hocus aren't forced upon the unwilling. Anyone can refuse to open the gift, and even once opened, return to sender. That would take determined dismissal and rebellion to known truth, favouring entrenched and unconfesed sin, but freedom of choice is never taken away. Love demands freedom.

Philosophical discussions are a low priority when you need to get out of the mud first. Just sayin'.

So...
Good works = genuine confession?

Couldn't good works come from a false confession?
Motivated by fear, perhaps?

I think this idea that some are unwilling to be saved is false.
It's not salvation that is being refused.

--- PARODY ---

Person #1: Receive the free gift of eternal life.
Person #2: No thanks.
Person #1: I said it was free.
Person #2: There must be some strings attached.
Person #1: Well, of course.
Person #2: It's not a free gift then, right?
Person #1: You had better take it... or else!
Person #2: Say what?
Person #1: Otherwise you will be incinerated!
Person #2: What sort of free gift is that?

Indeed.

I disagree. Deconstruction is a technical term used by modern philosophers to raise doubt about the validity of the Christian faith.
