:I know: I know, I know …

We approach God through the precious blood of our Savior Jesus Christ. By His stripes, we are healed. When our Savior was crucified, the veil in the temple was torn from top to bottom so that now, whosoever believes in His name can approach the Father boldly. HalleluYAH! :woohoo!:

Matthew 27:50-51 (NKJV) 50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. 51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split …

What truth matters to God?
Probably a lot of different things depending on the context. There are some foundational and universal truths and then there are some things that matter depending on where someone is. God, independent of people, I don't know what the truth is that matters to God. Anything He wants I guess. He already decided what the rules are.

At the end of the day, even if we got it all wrong about something, fall 100 times, God will forgive and bless the repentant. That much is true. At least we can still repent after all.

This has been before and many saints have bled through all ages .
THE TIME I speak of IS THE GREAT PEAKING of THE HOUR OF GREATEST TRIBULATION against the saints .

That be the KEY . we ought to repent . its that simple . GOD desires the death of none .
GOD will forgive and bless the repentant .
But woe unto he who hardens his heart and rather justifies his own error .
Correct my friend , the key is when we do get something wrong , err , is to repent of it .
yet many seem not to do so . I see rainbows and other sins rather being justified and WOE to those who do such a thing .
WOE to the man who uses the name of JESUS to defend a lie , to defend sin . they do evil IN HIS NAME .
When david did evil and he was warned , HE REPENTED
yet today many do evil and yet JUSTIFY THE EVIL and holler GOD is love while they justify a lie and sin . NOT looking good for such .

Take heed the words in green again . for godly sorrow produces repentance unto salvation not to be repented of ,
THEN read the lines before it . PAUL had them PUT that man who had sinned out of the church .
HIMS repented too . yet today most just dont give a rip what sin one is in within the church .
NO correction is done . and that is why LEAVEN has from the root to the fruit DESTROYED THEM from within .

Ony God can make you feel sorry for your sins against Him and grant you to repent.
Here are other translations showing it as God induced sorrow.
Esau sought repentance even with tears, but God rejected him.

Hebrews 12
15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; 16 lest there be any fornicator or [a]profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. 17 For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.

God's mercy and God's justice are determined by His own self towards a man.
Romans 9
13 As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.”
14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not!
15 For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.”

16 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.

CJB
Pain handled in God’s way produces a turning from sin to God which leads to salvation, and there is nothing to regret in that! But pain handled in the world’s way produces only death.
CEV
When God makes you feel sorry enough to turn to him and be saved, you don't have anything to feel bad about. But when this world makes you feel sorry, it can cause your death.
DARBY
For grief according to God works repentance to salvation, never to be regretted; but the grief of the world works death.
DLNT
For the grief in accordance with God works unregretted repentance leading-to salvation. But the grief of the world produces death.
AMPC
For godly grief and the pain God is permitted to direct, produce a repentance that leads and contributes to salvation and deliverance from evil, and it never brings regret; but worldly grief (the hopeless sorrow that is characteristic of the pagan world) is deadly [breeding and ending in death].

When God gives someone over to destruction, He hardens their hearts

Joshua 11:20
For it was of the Lord to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that He might utterly destroy them, and that they might receive no mercy, but that He might destroy them, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Romans 1, describes this as God giving them over. If a man has been given over to destruction, this has come against their life from God.
And there are sins leading to death that John tells us not to pray for them. If God's wrath is on you, that is not a good thing for your life!

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who [d]suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is [e]manifest [f]in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and [g]Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like [h]corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their [i]women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the [j]men, leaving the natural use of the [k]woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, [l]sexual immorality, wickedness, [m]covetousness, [n]maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 [o]undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, [p]unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

SO WHY are so many within christendom SO FAST to run off those who are warning against
this reprobation of minds that is taking WHOLE CHURCHES captive .
have men like me become the enemy because we tell the TRUTH and DO LOVE the people and DO DESIRE ONLY GOOD for them .
YES sadly WE HAVE . This people hates GOD , hates HIS CHRIST and hates anyone who dares to stand
and speak against their golden bull .

YEAH . Take HEED unto the very truth you opened up your statement with scott .
WHEN GOD giveth people over unto DESTRUCTION .
SUDDEN DESTRUCTION WILL STRIKE this people and this world .
What many now embrace as love , IS HATE , ITS DEATH , its sin , its unbelief , ITS A LIE .
And scott most of christendom has went belly down and kneeled and drunk of the cup of anti christ , NOT CHRIST .
THEY LOVE this other version of love , which corrects not sin , wont even preach against unbelief
rather accepts unbelief and spends its days making every excuse under the sun as to HOW these false religoins
ARE GONNA END UP IN GLORY WITH CHRIST . its getting bad scott .
YOU SEE when we give leaven an inch , aint long before it takes another inch
and soon it taketh over the ruler and becometh the ruler of men . WE REALLY should not have
been running off the so called haters as myself and others . I didnt warn out of hate
I WARN and STILL WARN OUT OF LOVE . the problem is MOST DONT RECOGNIZE THE LOVE OF GOD AT ALL
they recognize only what leaven calleth love .

Absolute truth - Do we know what it is?

Jesus told us what Truth is....

Jesus said the Holy Ghost would lead us in to ALL Truth (John 16:13),
and Jesus said God's Word IS Truth (John 17:17)

Romans 8:14
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

We can repent but repentance is only possible if God grant them to repent and to know the truth
This is not a blanket repentance granted to all people, as not all repent of their wickedness, it is personal

(Philippians 1:29)

The fact that some gentiles believed the gospel; meant God had granted to these gentiles their belief in Christ to have eternal life, but not all believed the message. None of us should get in the way or withstand God because it does not fit our mistaken doctrines, as these early Christians discovered in Acts.

18 When they heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.”

While it's true those verses exists, repentance is spoken of as a personal and deliberate choice one must make on their own throughout the Bible.

Yes, the truth is in the words I shared. People must be granted to come to Christ by the Father, or they will not be willing to come to Christ.
Of course we must receive Him. The fact that people believed is not of their own selves, God did His work in them, taught their spirits.
Jesus in John 5, 6, 8, 10 goes into greater details about these things. Not everyone has God granted to come to Christ. Some have disputed and argued that none of these verses Jesus said mean anything anymore, but the evidence is in all the church letters and elsewhere that what Christ said is still true today.

John 6
35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will [f]by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Rejected by His Own

41 The Jews then [g]complained about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.” 42 And they said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”

43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, [h]“Do not murmur among yourselves. 44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who [i]has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. 46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes [j]in Me has everlasting life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

52 The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?”

53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is [k]food indeed, and My blood is [l]drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

59 These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.

Many Disciples Turn Away

60 Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a [m]hard saying; who can understand it?”

61 When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples [n]complained about this, He said to them, “Does this [o]offend you? 62 What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. 65 And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”

66 From that time many of His disciples went [p]back and walked with Him no more. 67 Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?”

68 But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 Also we have come to believe and know that You are the [q]Christ, the Son of the living God.”

70 Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?” 71 He spoke of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, for it was he who would betray Him, being one of the twelve.

There are verses that might apply to specific people. Example: God wanted or needed to help some people repent while it's not necessarily true that God want or needs to help everyone repent.

On the other hand, God desires all repent yet all do not repent.

The way that comes to reason for me is that, generally speaking, repentance is a choice everyone must either make or refuse. This seems consistent with the works-based judgement the Bible speaks about. For example, God wouldn't judge someone for the works that He did for them, but rather the works they did for themselves.

Jesus said to Pilate, "... the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth.
Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” Pilate asked Jesus, "What is truth?" - John 18:37-38 NIV

Still a good question.

Absolute truth - Do we know what it is?

Believe what you will. Everyone does.

Yes that's true, but I think people approach it from their worldview and experiences.
You saved yourself then.
God's wisdom is justified by all her children,
If God had not granted you to come to Christ, you never would have.
You would be unwilling due to a spiritual enmity against Christ which exists in everyone who is not spiritually minded.
People may think God is good and creator, but Christ stirs them up, the entire idea of Christianity to the world is greatly antagonistic to the unbelieving.

John 5
39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.
40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

Hate Christ, mean they hate the Father, when someone does not know Christ, they do not know God either.

John 15:24
If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father.

John 15:19
If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

1 John 3:13
Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you.

John 17:14
I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

John 15:19
If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
