@St. SteVenEven though I am a Christian, I accept that most of what the Bible says relies on its own internal witness. Much of its content is not falsifiable, so there is no way to truly debunk it or prove that something it says is wrong. That's actually a big part of why we can debate the Bible without anyone ever really winning or losing—it's one of the Bible's strengths. As far as it being the truth, yes, I believe it is, as a Christian, but ultimately, it's all about faith or trust. A major theme of the Bible is essentially, "Trust what I am saying and take my word for it," and that's it. So, without third-party verification of what the precise truth is, there should be signs or something that prove what it says is true.
