When I was a young child, I had the privilege of visiting a glorious and inspiring PCUSA church (mainline churches). This was before Evangelicals caused the PCUSA denomination to apostacy. (For the record, I was raise in Evangelical churches.)

When I was a child, or not much earlier, most Americans had experienced a good church. Most people in the boomer generation have experienced good churches. Just decades ago, good churches were all over the place. Now, I don't know of a single good and sustainable church.

Maybe the Orthodox Presbyterian Church? There's not one near me. And, even if there were one near, it would be small, and so probably not sustainable.

Maybe the Lutheran Church Mo. Synod? There's one near me. But, given the aging congregants, doubtfully sustainable.

There are large Southern Baptist, Assemblies of God, and non-denominational churches nearby (Evangelical churches). All absolute garbage.

The boomer generation is taking to their grave the experience of good churches. Today, most young Christians will never experience a good church. Going forward, most young Americans won't experience any church, except most tangently.

Remember the falling away in 2 Thessalonians 2:4. I agree, solid biblical truth teaching has gone to the wayside. Congregational singing has stopped for the most part. If you've ever been to a church with no AC and no PA for the preacher, and had a piano player for everyone to sing to. Preachers were preachers back then, they were like missionary's, they were not in it for the money.

Most churches have become naught but a social club that might talk about doing some good to the poor
but aint gonna feed their churches the entire rightly divided words of Truth in scripture .
To many its become doctrine is in the way of unity .
And under the banner everyone is welcome , what they really do is pretty much say ANYTHING done is welcome .
In other words they are not correcting sin at all . If a man tries to stand and follow the pattern that even paul
and other apostels left us for correction , they get run off . and people keep wondering why churches kept getting
and kept getting worse . Because error will beget only more error and even a little leaven sure can leaven the LUMP .
The judge not correct not motto WON OUT and when it did churches began to fall .
Seekerfriendly was a nightmare but it was welcomed by many and in just a couple of decades , LOOK at them churches now .

Congregations use to sing hymns and Psalms. Now, they pretty much just listen to homo-erotic praise music ("Jesus is my boyfriend" music) from a paid band and music minister.

Preachers, it appears to me, no longer preach against immorality, but rather preach against morality(!) by condemning legalism. I could visit numerous random churches and not hear a word about Hell fire. It's not all bad. I've never been a fan of prohibition nor a believer in the heartless god of old-fashioned Fundamentalists.

In 1 Thessalonians 2:4, St. Paul is speaking about his day (v7, etc.), not ours. The falling away is noted in 1 John 2:18-19. If you pay attention to the context of 1 Thessalonians 2:4, there has to first be a temple standing in Jerusalem (v4), that temple which no longer stands.

Evangelicals are killing Christianity. And, then they celebrate that there's a falling away proving we're in the last days.

Seeker Friendly was the concept that if we throw God out of the Church, people will come. Well, they didn't say it in terms of throwing God out of the Church, but that was pretty much their intent. Young people flocked to these nominally Christian churches, as they could go to church without feeling like they're in a church. Then the rest of the Evangelical world followed, seeing the success of the early Seeker Friendly churches. But, it turns out these churches are just soft exit doors from Christianity.

Be on gaurd my friend . For even though a ton of christendom has turned its back to GOD
you dont see me doing the same . TIME to put atheism DOWN
for it cannot and will not save you . You pick that bible up again and TURN to the LORD
and HE shall guide your steps . Not all , but a lot , of christains cannot stand my message
but in no way does this move me to abandon THE LORD . You need to BELIEVE On JESUS THE CHRIST
and start fresh in the bible for yourself . MEN aint gonna save us , THEY GONNA only decieve us .
Very few within even Christendom itself truly Teach as they ought and do as they ought .

The church age is winding down and with the advent of the rapture, the church will be gone! (age of judgment). They will make possession of a Holy Bible a Felony. You wont be able to buy them. That will happen fast after the rapture because the restrainer is gone.

I agree with most of what you said until the last part.
I don't read about the temple in the verses provided. The Apostle Paul was writing to Thessalonica, which is a Greek city with no temple or alluded to.

my advice . let us open the bible for ourselves and read it for ourselves .
Look around friend . the bible has not yet even been made illegal . BUT men sure know how to twist it .
As far as not being able to buy . Heck soon enough we wont be able to even buy anything or sell .
THE DIGITAL SYSTEM cometh and even now has the ability to shut down a man of any color and any race
IF such a man DONT CONFORM .
You speak of a time you believe is coming . AND YES it will get worse .
But would marvel at what already is and has been and is moving all as it was foretold in the bible .
Many think a muslim will rise and make war and that many will follow it
many think
but do not know or can discern . IT aint the IMAM who holds the power
ITS INTERFAITH and the HARLOT who holds the power . and by its delusoin has and is already
Take heed reader , FOR I SAID ALREADY , causes all as ONE to worship and hold to that which is of anti christ .
Even muhammed , liar as he is and was , would roll over at what has and is becoming of his false religoin of islam .
EVERYONES religoin is merging now , AS ONE , no longer divided BUT UNITED as ONE , as ONE under the lie
of a strong delusion .
No suprises there . I KNEW the false who are already decieved would buy the lie that NOW MERGES
PRETTY darn sad when a massive amount of christendom is now also buying the same lie
as IS EVERY other religoin . FRIEND we are being and have BEEN DECIEVED BIG TIME .
i say we , not because i am decieved but because i speak of even many within christendom . INTERFAITH
and its lie , its false love , its finding common ground bridge building lie , WILL MERGE THE DECIEVED .
NO LONGER will they be divided BUT UNITED and united as one under THE STRONG DELUSOIN . WE AT THE END friend .
Folks keep looking for a coming falling away , a coming delusoin , ITS HERE FRIEND . ITS HERE and MASSIVE NOW and grows
by the day and by the hour .

That is biblical. Foretold.

The church, indeed, God's people, even the Pharisees had "good" intentions. During the Church age it is written that the believing of a "lie" would enter into the church by "false teachers", even evident from the beginning. There have been many attempts to break from it all: notably, the Protestant movement, and also the Evangelical movement. Unfortunately, there have been few clean breaks, and the attempts to change were simply a different attempt grown out of the same corrupt foundation.

The end of such "strong delusion" and "great apostacy" is also foretold, although most have not anticipated it and therefore only doubled down on the false teachings. Even so, the end was foretold...and now has come while many are unaware, as was also foretold. The end of the delusions and false teaching was to come (and has come) as foretold in the book of Revelation when "the mystery of God would be finished as He declared to His servants the prophets" (meaning: it would all be fully known and revealed) in the little book previewed by the apostle John, then sealed until a time just before the end. This is that time.

Evangelicals are killing the Church and proclaiming everything is going as planed. Jesus could have said to Evangelicals what he said in Matthew 23:15. They are killing the Church and the only thing they'll have to show for it is a heathen society. They should be working on that fear of God thing.

True evangelicals are preachers of righteousness and empowered by the Holy Spirit to speak truth of Christ's work on the Cross. We condemn the church's worldly influence and wrong doctrines. The Holy Spirit will not allow us to preach anything contrary to Jesus's Word.

I understand your grievance, and your point. But did you hear what I said?

Everything foretold is happening now with or without them.

Your doctrine is not biblical. I left Christianity because the horribleness of Christians broke me. One of those horrible things is imposing toxic nonsense to the Bible and then insisting they're following the Bible. And, no reasoning, not even hard-countering verses, can shake Christians from their toxic nonsense.

Even if it were biblical, you have no certain foundation to link current Evangelical-driven apostacy with the falling away mentioned in the Bible. If Herod's temple stood in Jerusalem today and the man of lawlessness took his seat in it, then I might agree that you're on the right track. I shouldn't have to tell you that the falling away and the man of lawlessness in temple are presented as concurrent events.

Even if you're right about your doctrine and the timing, you remind me of Judas who betrayed Jesus and was lost. Judas could have defended himself by saying everything he did was prophesied. Evangelicals are destroying the Church and saying everything they're doing was prophesied. Evangelicals deserve the eternal fate of Judas, if you're right. Just because something bad is going to happen, woe to him who causes it.

You don't understand. I am not pushing a doctrine, nor am I aligned with any of those you say are destroying the church. I am one caught up to the third heaven in the presents of God tasked with calling time no more and finishing the mystery of God as He declared to His servants the prophets, the fulfillment of Revelation 10--all of which is indeed written.

But it is not written that the finish of the mystery of God would be received. On the contrary, Christendom has and is to repeat the rejection acts of Israel, and worse. Even so, horrors and jubilee will ensue. These are the times foretold, the fulfillment of the times of the gentiles and the reckoning of the church. Then comes the end.

It was not evangelicals which caused the apostasy of the PCUSA. It was the gay agenda infiltrating the PCUSA which caused the apostasy.

Btw, PCUSA churches were not considered evangelical.

I believe PCA (Presbyterian Church America) is still Bible believing.

Following is about PCUSA...the liberal branch of Presbyterian churches. See what they stand for...straight up apostasy.
