Do you appreciate having the right to vote? Thank women's suffrage/feminism.
I knew you were a feminist. Women voting is one of the worst things this country did as it is a pathway to its financial destruction. See explosion of debt tied to women voting. (And calling it a 'right' is a misnomer. We don't say we have a 'right' to pay taxes or a right to be on a jury. All 3 of these are duties of loyal citizens, willing to fight to the death for his country). Beyond that, every sin allures us in some way or it would have no power over us.

This vid delves into how women are not loyal (which is a general observation and not meant to be interpreted that ALL are this way @Mink57. Also, before you say it ... I think it is funny how men's ways are condemned all day in our man-hating society while any criticism of women's ways is reacted to as if they are the victim of misogyny.) A fair reading of the Bible shows how disloyalty was always generally women's nature.

Eve was not loyal to God and just last week I was reading about how Jacob's son, Reuben, laid with his father's concubine in Genesis 35:22. The Bible never expects cheating women to be faithful. That is, there is never any moral condemnation on women's infidelity in Scripture but there is for men's adultery.

The double frame in our society is hilarious! OTOH, women seek equality with men. OTOH, is the "Believe her" movement. OTOH, men's egos are well researched and constantly berated. OTOH, a women's ego is so big, we cannot even acknowledge it exists. Double standards; claiming equality while also demanding special accommodation. You can thank feminism for that.

The same story with David's son, Absalom, in 2 Samuel 16. Concubines (plural). Not one of the concubines had any loyalty to her husband. By contrast, men are condemned in Scripture for their adultery. This is what the LORD says, “I am going to bring disaster on you from your own family: I will take your wives and give them to another before your very eyes, and he will sleep with them in broad daylight.” 2 Samuel 12:11 CSB

In fact, if you think about it, the oldest profession, prostitution, is a monument to women's lack of loyalty to their husbands. Rahab is in the book of Hebrews as one of the heroes of the faith - for lying and despite being a prostitute. Can you imagine honoring a man today for lying despite being a gigilo (having no loyalty to his wife)? Women are disloyal and they are honored. Men are disloyal and their names - Judas and Benedict Arnold - become synonymous with hated traitors for eternity.

There is now even an active thread at CyB attempting to guilt men for preferring not to marry such a woman. Of course, whenever women do anything wrong, it's always excused somehow as past vid showed but men never get any sympathy for their wrong doing, pressured and guilted for not "understanding" why he did it. Women expect men to be perfect. Men cannot have any expectations of women. You can thank feminism for that!

And it is the reason in war, from Biblical times on, that men are killed but the women are kept; because the conquerors know the women will switch loyalty. This vid shows this with traitors to the Nazi's in WWII. Loyalty is not feminine. Point being, there is observably inequality, proving again the basic lie of feminism ... Going back to the injustice of your question; do you appreciate something for nothing? If you get something for nothing, it necessarily means another is getting nothing for paying or doing something. "Equality."

@Wynona
I should explain where I am coming from on all this, lest anyone get the wrong idea.

I have been married to my first wife for nearly 45 years. We have two adult sons.
When we had children, we decided that it was best for them to be raised at home by their mother.
She became a stay-at-home Mom and I was the breadwinner. This was a costly decision.

We watched as other Christian couples worked two jobs, put their children in daycare, bought expensive cars and homes.
These folks were looked up to as successful, while we were viewed as less than. Driving rusty cars and living in rental property.

I was originally confronted with feminism when some office women wanted to listen to a radio broadcast of Gloria Steinem
at work during lunch. It was the first time I had heard the slogan: "A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle."
Needless to say, I did not feel welcome at that "event". But I was at my desk while they broadcast it to the whole small office.

Initially, I was very much against this militant nonsense. But in time I recognized the difference between these Femi-nazis
and and more moderate concerns over women's rights. I had reasonable agreement over some aspects of feminism.

Frankly, I knew nothing about the roots and intentions of the movement. Thanks for that info on the first page of this topic.
Fortunately, they haven't succeeded in preventing women from the choice to stay at home and raise their children.

[
I think most men in general, want women's lives to be easier, not harder. It's great to be pro-woman. But I tend to see feminism as an ideology to be rejected entirely.

Why doesn't feminist activism involve offering to help women practically in the weeks after child birth or giving all children everywhere a better variety of education options, including home education resources?

Why is always envying traditional male things? even toxic traditional things like hooking up with strangers and just being really rude and obnoxious?

Ive wondered this for a long time. I see the movement as a scam to get more people paying into government taxes.

And that is the problem. We all have "reasonable agreement" with sin, including evil ideologies like feminism.

I support Christian biblical patriarchy as refined by New Testament Scripture.
Bear in mind that the Apostle Paul addressed husband wife relations when Jesus did not. (to my knowledge)
Jesus actually support the right of a man to divorce his bride on grounds of "fornication". (not being a virgin)
This was the ONLY condition he allowed. The church is in error on this. IMHO

Matthew 5:32 KJV
But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication,
causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Would you consider anti-racism to be an evil ideology? (sin)
Where's the biblical support? (either way)

I knew you were a feminist.
Based on your definition and hatred of feminism, I would say that's quite an over-reaction.
It seems that I am not welcome on this topic. (since we can't have a level-headed discussion)

Brides were considered to be the property of their parents, primarily her father. Marriages were arranged.

SOme women are waking up and dont like MGTOW lol. They may be promiscuous in their early years but when the get a little older and want to settle down with a Husband they find out men dont like their typf girl to marry so they go their own way.
Maybe some of them think, oh if my father had only arranged a marriage for me!

Which brings us to the quote of the day:

"You dont develop courage by being happy in your relationships everyday. You develop courage by surviving difficult times and challenging adversity."

An evil ideology? What do you mean? Anti-Racisim?

As in, there is no racism, no such thing! We have different Cultures on earth from living in different places. But where is man not equal and on the same level (before God)? Nowhere.

The poor little old black woman who lives in hut and carries her water in buckets for her home in Africa is on the same level as all of the billionaires. God is no respector of persons, so why should we be? Racism is a lie and does not exist.

I'll buy that.

I'm perfectly okay not voting in exchange for women, children, and the unborn being a protected class again.
Since when were ALL women, children and the unborn a "protected class" under Patriarchy? Protected from WHO or WHAT?
Wynona, it seems like you see ALL women WORLDWIDE as being revered, cherished, loved, etc.
The right to vote is historically tied to the obligation to go fight in wars for the country. So, no, I don't need feminism for anything.
Some cultures ALWAYS allowed women to vote, and it had nothing to do with fighting in wars.

Maybe YOU don't need or even want feminism, but OTHER women do!
Women could own property, get educatio, and vote in place of their land owning husbands before feminism hit this country.
Women could own property in SOME jurisdictions, but not enough by far. And they still can't own property in some other areas of the world.
Equal wages means that men no longer get a family wage. Everyone gets paid as a single unit without the same levels of responsibility.
Since there ARE single mothers wouldn't they also be entitled to a "family wage"?

As to what's bolded, not even close to true. Plenty of women outperform men in certain jobs, yet they get paid less than the man. Why IS that? Think that's fair?
Im not sure women needed a chaperone to leave the house in different social spheres.
Yeah, they do.
If a woman's husband was too poor to keep her at home, she simply labored in the same harsh work as he did. This was seen as an affliction and not a symbolic victory.
The 'victory' is that NOW, women can choose to labor in the 'harsh work' IF she wants to (yes, there ARE female oil riggers). And let's understand that not all "work" is "harsh", PLUS, not all men choose the same type of work.
I owe no honor to feminism. I accept God's order as a blessing.
That may work...for YOU.

About 70 years ago, this was a nation wide cultural understanding. Case in point, the Titanic. The women and children got on the life boats to safety first. Thanks, patriarchy. Could it be that male responsibility can benefit others.

I disagree.

I have no issue with single mothers getting paid more. They tend to have an easier time getting social welfare benefits but itd be better if they got a wage based on family too.

Women don't get paid less for the same amount and quality of work as men. That is a myth. The wage gap comes from women as a whole taking more time off and sometimes going into lesser paid industries more often.
The 'victory' is that NOW, women can choose to labor in the 'harsh work' IF she wants to (yes, there ARE female oil riggers). And let's understand that not all "work" is "harsh", PLUS, not all men choose the same type of work.
I mean, yay? Why is work its own reward? We can toil as we have always done when needed. But why is it not a victory to have a less stressed out life that is also productive and life giving? That goes for both men and women. Why is the culture so obsessed with hustling? For things that we hardly even need? Status?

On death beds, do people regret not taking extra shifts at the office so they could buy that motorcycle or is it more relationships that come up?

Anti-concept. There is no such thing as anti-racism; just racism FOR or AGAINST a particular race.

There most certainly is Biblical support either way. There is neither Greek nor Jew, Galatians 3:28 is a repudiation of racism.

It wasn't 'nationwide' or even cultural.
I disagree.
No Wynona, you don't get to say what's best for other women. Feminism is responsible for a LOT of changes in laws to be more fair to women. Try spending some time overseas and THEN come back and tell me that feminism isn't needed.
I have no issue with single mothers getting paid more. They tend to have an easier time getting social welfare benefits but itd be better if they got a wage based on family too.
An easier time? It really depends on the STATE they're in. Some states have a more lenient critera for obtaining benefits.
Women don't get paid less for the same amount and quality of work as men. That is a myth.
No, it's not a myth. I've seen it. Experienced it. And statistical gathering companies beg to differ. In the US, women are STILL paid 85 cents for every dollar a man makes on average.
The wage gap comes from women as a whole taking more time off and sometimes going into lesser paid industries more often.
Nope. See my answer above.

Who says it's a less stressed out life to be a SAHM or SAHD? Some PEOPLE simply aren't mentally equipped to handle being homemakers and caregivers. And some people's children are absolutely unruly.

You're using YOUR experience to measure ALL experiences, which is inaccurate.

I've BEEN a SAHM before. It was anything BUT "less stressed."
On death beds, do people regret not taking extra shifts at the office so they could buy that motorcycle or is it more relationships that come up?
Most of them don't.

You name it. That's what the Husband protects the wife from. What does protection have to do with patrichary anyway? I suppose it does but to me and all the men I've ever met (I think), it just came natural. Protect the wife, protect the female. That's just, how it is.

Want to hear the story where I protected my (who would be) my pregnant wife from two guys who tried to strong arm rob us? I was carrying a Colt 1911 45 and they didnt get anything from us. She had not a hand laid upon her!

It's a great story. We all left being friends I think? I know they wanted to be friends when I went for that 45! You should'a seen 'em!

Ohh, who cares who's name the property is in?! You get to live there and be provided for right? And you even got the freedom to go fix your own carberatuer if you want. You live in his house, dont you? I'm guessing because you said he's a jerk so I figure if it was your place then you'd boot him out! ??

...I want the property to be in my name also? Oh man, Pre-Nup!! Lol.
