Many confuse the battle of Gog and Magog with the battle of Armageddon, but they are not the same event. The battle of Armageddon happens “before” the thousand year reign of Christ, and the battle of Gog and Magog happens “after” the thousand year reign of Christ.

Let us look at some scriptures concerning the battle of the great day of God Almighty, or the battle of Armageddon to confirm the timing of this end time event. Revelation 16 is the only place where the phrase “the battle of Armageddon” is mentioned, but this event is also called “the battle of the great day of God Almighty.” The timing of when this battle occurs is during the period of God’s wrath being poured out on “the earth”, as is mentioned in Revelation 16:1.

So let's go to Revelation 16 picking up at verse 12….

12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of “the earth” and of “the whole world,” to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. (notice above the kings of “the whole world”)

15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done.”

18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and “the cities of the nations fell:” and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.” 21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. (note the cities of the nations fell)

So this event takes place during the time of God’s wrath, and right when the 7th angel pours out God's wrath; and then we hear “It is done”.

So now let's go to other places in scripture to get more insight into this final end time battle.

Here in Revelation 19 we see mention of the same end time battle, again notice the timing…

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. (notice the mention of treading the winepress and the wrath of God)

16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. (note “all men” both small and great)

19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and

them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. (notice they are cast into the fire)

21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.” (note this ties into Matthew 24:27-28)

So again we see this event takes place during the period of God’s wrath, and this wrath is upon “ all men, both free and bond, both small and great.” as it says in verse 18

Also notice in verse 15 we see Christ is the one who “ treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.”

That will give us more scripture to confirm “the timing” of this event.

Isaiah 63:3-6…. 3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.” (note “the people” are tread down in His wrath)

Again confirming the timing in Revelation 14 in connection with the winepress of God’s wrath…..

14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.(notice this is speaking of the harvest)

16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.(notice here the Son reaps a harvest)

17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. (notice the other angel with a sharp sickle reaps “the vine of the earth”, which is then to be cast into the winepress of God’s wrath)

Notice above the mention of the sharp sickle, and the Son is told to reap one group, and the angel was told to reap another group. This confirms “the timing of the harvest” at the end of the world. Notice what Jesus says about sending his angels to reap at the harvest at “the end of the world” in Matthew 13…

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is “the end of the world”; and “the reapers are the angels.”

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.(notice it is “the children” of the wicked one who are burned in the fire)

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”(notice it is those out of His Kingdom that "do iniquity" that also go into the fire)

Notice all the tares, all that work iniquity, all the children of the wicked one are cast into the fire; not just a single man called Antichrist, and not just a single man called the false prophet, but ((((all)))) that offend and “work iniquity.”

This “harvest time” is also mentioned here by Jesus in Matthew 25…

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:32 And before him shall be “gathered all nations:” and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.”

Notice the fate of all those who are separated on the left….

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (notice (((all))) on the left are cast into everlasting fire.)

This time of “gathering the nations” to judgment all speaks of the same end time event…

Zephaniah 3:8 “Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to “gather the nations”, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for “all the earth” shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy. (notice “all the earth” is devoured by fire)

3 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

2 I will also gather “all nations”, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. (again notice “all nations” are gathered)

Continued in verse 9

……9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong. 11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Lord. (notice the mighty ones of the Lord, or angels come down)

12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge “all the heathen” round about.(again notice “all” the heathen are judged)

13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.(this again confirms the timing)

14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. (6th seal signs)

16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion,(Romans 11:6) and utter his voice from

Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.”

Now to Isaiah 13…6 Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt(Luke 21:26) 8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.(notice the Lord is destroying “sinners” as we saw before)

10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.(again this confirms the timing)

11 And I will punish “the world” for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.”

Again notice who the Lord is destroying in this end time battle. It is all “the sinners” in the world, it is “the wicked”, it is those who “work iniquity,” it is all “the children” of that wicked one.

Many people think this end time battle is going to be held on a small parcel of land, and fought with conventional weapons. But I believe this event is clearly speaking of the end time harvest of not only the saints, but also the total destruction of sinners from off the earth.

Psalm 110:5-6 “The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of His wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies, he shall wound the heads over many countries.”

You are correct in that Gog/Magog is not Armageddon. But not correct that Gog/Magog happens after the thousand year reign of Christ.

Yes, Gog and Magog are included in Revelation 20:8 - but as being the same nations that took part in the Ezekiel 38-39 event a thousand years earlier.

Here is the proper sequence...

1. first, Gog/Magog - destruction of Gog's army Ezekiel 39:1-6
2. then, 7 years Ezekiel 39:9 = the 70th week of Daniel 9;27
3. then, Armageddon - Ezekiel 39:17-20

Many confuse the timing of the battle of Gog and Magog with current events happening today. But the battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ as is written…

Revelation 20:7-9 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog,to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.”

This event happens after the resurrection of the saints as shown in Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

This resurrection of the saints is also shown in Ezekiel 37:11-14

11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.”

This resurrection of God’s people precedes the battle of Gog and Magog shown in the next chapter.

Notice Israel in Ezekiel 38 is shown without walls…

8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them."

9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.

10 Thus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:

11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land ofunwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,”

At present modern day Israel has very high walls and also many bars and gates, so this is not describing modern day Israel, which also is not at rest and dwelling safely as described above.

That is the first time I have heard someone trying to equate the last 7 of Daniels 70 week prophecy to the battle of Gog and Magog.

But Daniels 70 week prophecy is already fulfilled and has nothing to do with Ezekiel 39.

The Gog war is the attack upon Israel by Gog. (Gog is attacking Babylon) (Trumpets 1-4, and the 5th Trumpet with 'locusts'/ the people of the prince to come) (the locusts last 5 months because the 7 months of burial of Gog (Ezek 39:12) forms 1 'day' = 1 year/ 12 months)

Armageddon is the attack upon Gog to destroy Gog in (Babylon) Israel and then destroying Magog (Rev 9:13-21)

Then the covenant (the Rev 10 mighty angel swearing an oath to God)

Then the covenant is broken 1260 days later (at the 7th Trumpet)

Gog attacks Israel because the covenant was broken (but does not defeat Jerusalem) (during the millenium started by the False Prophet confirming the covenant)

The False Prophet says to worship Gog

Armageddon is the attack upon Gog in Israel to remove Gog

This is the Gog war. It is attacking Israel:

Ezek 38:7“Be ready and keep ready, you and all your hosts that are assembled about you, and be a guard for them. 8After many days you will be mustered. In the latter years you will go against the land that is restored from war, the land whose people were gathered from many peoples upon the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual waste. Its people were brought out from the peoples and now dwell securely, all of them. 9You will advance, coming on like a storm. You will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your hordes, and many peoples with you.
10“Thus says the Lord God: On that day, thoughts will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil scheme 11and say, ‘I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will fall upon the quiet people who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having no bars or gates,’ 12to seize spoil and carry off plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places that are now inhabited, and the people who were gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell at the center of the earth. 13Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all its leaders will say to you, ‘Have you come to seize spoil? Have you assembled your hosts to carry off plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to seize great spoil?’
14“Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and say to Gog, Thus says the Lord God: On that day when my people Israel are dwelling securely, will you not know it? 15You will come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great host, a mighty army. 16You will come up against my people Israel, like a cloud covering the land. In the latter days I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when through you, O Gog, I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.
17“Thus says the Lord God: Are you he of whom I spoke in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel, who in those days prophesied for years that I would bring you against them? 18But on that day, the day that Gog shall come against the land of Israel, declares the Lord God, my wrath will be roused in my anger. 19For in my jealousy and in my blazing wrath I declare, On that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. 20The fish of the sea and the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the people who are on the face of the earth, shall quake at my presence. And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground.

This is Armageddon in Ezekiel 38 and 39. Jesus is attacking Gog in Israel.

21I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Lord God. Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22With pestilence and bloodshed I will enter into judgment with him, and I will rain upon him and his hordes and the many peoples who are with him torrential rains and hailstones, fire and sulfur. 23So I will show my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.

Ezek 39:4You shall fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your hordes and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. 5You shall fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Lord God. 6I will send fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the coastlands, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
7“And my holy name I will make known in the midst of my people Israel, and I will not let my holy name be profaned anymore. And the nations shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel. 8Behold, it is coming and it will be brought about, declares the Lord God. That is the day of which I have spoken.
This is Armageddon in Revelation.

Rev 19:11Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. 12His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. 13He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. 14And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. 15From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.
17Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to all the birds that fly directly overhead, “Come, gather for the great supper of God, 18to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great.” 19And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army. 20And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. 21And the rest were slain by the sword that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse, and all the birds were gorged with their flesh.
The Gog war in Rev 20 is occurring during the millennium when Jesus Christ has confirmed the covenant, not the other 'Morning Star' / 'Lucifer'.

Many confuse the battle of Gog and Magog with the battle of Armageddon, but they are not the same event. The battle of Armageddon happens “before” the thousand year reign of Christ, and the battle of Gog and Magog happens “after” the thousand year reign of Christ.
Incorrect.

The Gog Magog war defined in Ez. 38-39 takes place at least 3 1/2 years before the tribulation starts. Look at the results and consequences of the Gog was in Ez. 38 and then compare them to the results of the Gog Magog war in Revelation and you will see there is a vast difference . these are two separate battles though they use the same names.

Look at teh results of the Ez. war:

Ez. 38:

18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face.

19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord God: every man's sword shall be against his brother.

22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.

Ezekiel 39

King James Version

39 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
2 And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord God.
6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel.
8 Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord God; this is the day whereof I have spoken.
9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

Now the revelation passage:

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Same names- vast difference in results and consequences.

That is the first time I have heard someone trying to equate the last 7 of Daniels 70 week prophecy to the battle of Gog and Magog.

But Daniels 70 week prophecy is already fulfilled and has nothing to do with Ezekiel 39.
You are not listening.

The 7 years in Ezekiel 39:9 following the destruction of Gog's army.

Those 7 years are the same 7 years of the 70th week of Daniel 9:27.

You have your timing for armegeddon (before the millinium) and the timing of Gog(after the millinium ) correct
One thing I noticed you didn't have listed. The kings of the east come against Israel after the three year drought (caused by the two witnesses )has dried up the Euphrates.
Muslims are taught in the Hadith to go to jihad against the Dajjals military after a three year drought. That is why they kill the two witnesses that have been tormenting them for for the previous 42 months. 3.5 days later is the time of God's wrath and the dead are raised.

Revelation 11
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Muslims trust in a lie that compels them to go to Armegeddon. They believe if they win this war ,the world will convert to Islam. In reality, all ten nations along with Iran burn. They are consumed .

Look at Ezekiel 39:17-20 and compare to Revelation 19:17-18. Armageddon, at the end of the 7 years.
Ezekiel 38-39 is after the resurrection and the reign of Messiah in Ezekiel 37.

Ezekiel 37-39 is the same resurection ,reign and invasion of Gog as revelation 20.

What a mismatch of understandings.

God is still walking contrary to the nation of Israel because Israel has not yet repented of their sin of idolatrous worship. Israel is trying in their own strength to force God to gather them to Himself at this present time.

The Daniel 7:11-12 judgement of the Beasts, i.e. the heavenly hosts, is also spoken about in Isaiah 24:21-22 and Revelation 16:12-16 tells us that the signs performed by the three frog like spirits (9/11) will herald the gathering of the kings of the earth to assemble at the place called Armageddon to be judged for their active role in the trampling of God's sanctuary and God's earthly hosts over a period of some 2,300 years.

When the fulness with respect to the time of the gentiles comes to its conclusion, in around 20 years' time, God will begin gathering Israel to Himself and will plant them in His fertile soil.

In Daniel 2 we are told that during the time of these kings, i.e. the gentile kings, a stone will come down out of heaven which has been untouched by human hands and that this rock will become the largest mountain in all of the earth. At the same time that the Rock comes down out of heaven, God will establish his everlasting kingdom, which will never be defeated, here on the earth.

In Daniel 7:13-14 we are told that immediately after the beasts are judged in heaven, that the Son of Man will be given dominion over all of the peoples of the earth and that they should worship Him and the Everlasting Kingdom to have dominion over.

The Parable of the Fig tree as told in Matt 24:32 tells us when the Summer Season of the great harvest will begin, which coincides with the end of this present age.

So, there are many events that will occur in around 20 years' time into our future and the Gog, Magog armies will not be seen until the season of the judgement of the beasts mentioned in Daniel 7:12 is completed and they enter into the period of time that is mention.

It is during this period of time that many of the Book of Revelation's prophecies will be fulfilled. The Gog Magog battles commence after the Bottomless pit is unlocked.

This is just a brief summary of some of the events that will take place during the seventh age.

Sorry, Jay, but no-one can follow what you are saying. Too many topics in one posts.

Deal with the topic of the thread - i.e the timing of Armageddon. Is Gog/Magog before or after Armageddon ?

I am saying Gog/Magog of Ezekiel 38-39 takes place 7 yeas before Armageddon (Armageddon, which is at Jesus's Second Coming).

That seems to be your problem. No one else has posted to say there is too much information presented in my post.

Deal with the topic of the thread - i.e the timing of Armageddon.

Douggg, I dealt with the topic of Armageddon and when it will occur, as well as linking other prophesised events that occur very close to when Armageddon will occur in our near future..

Is Gog/Magog before or after Armageddon ?

Douggg, since the Heavenly hosts and the kings of the earth are judged at the same time and they are all imprisoned in a pit, namely the Bottomless Pit, for 1,000 years, then since Rev 20 tells us that Gog/Magog occurs after the Bottomless pit is unlocked, then logically since the heavenly hosts and the kings of the earth are all judged at the time of the Armageddon event and imprisoned for 1,000 years before they are release for a time when the Gog/Magog events begins. So, the question is why are you asking this question when the scriptures is so clear as to the sequence when all of these events that I wonder how you were able to come up with something so different to the scriptures.

I am saying Gog/Magog of Ezekiel 38-39 takes place 7 yeas before Armageddon (Armageddon, which is at Jesus's Second Coming).

So, the problem is your statement is your private understanding and as such it is not based on the sequences that the scriptures provide.

So, then your diagrams are a fraudulent representation of the scriptures based on your own private understanding.

False
Ezekiel 37 is the resurection and the coming of Messiah.Messiahs reign does not end .Gog invades the kingdom after the millinium. After Christ has been reigning for 1000 years ,Gog invades and is destroyed. But Christs reign is forever.

Here is the resurection when Israel comes out of their graves.

Ezekiel 37
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

This is the beginning of Messiahs reign .

Ezekiel ,37

24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

Christ is reigning when Gog comes in Ezekiel 38
Same as in revelation 20
The resurection takes place and the reign of Christ begins. Then Gog invades a thousands years later and is destroyed by fire coming down from heaven just like Ezekiel 38.

Revelation 20
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Ezekiel 38
22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

Christs reign is forever.Christ continues to reign after Gog is destroyed. His reign does not end with Gog.

You believe God is going to save all of the Jews who have followed the beast into the promised land. Those apostate Jews will soon be destroyed at the coming of Christ.
That is when Israel comes out of their graves and are gathered into the promised land.Into the millinial kingdom. All of Israel who have believed in Christ and recieved the holy spirit.

Nothing in the text of the bible about the kings of the earth being cast into the bottomless pit. Especially for a period of 1000 years.

What kings of the earth are you talking about ?

The proper sequence is... Gog/Magog..... then the seven years of Ezekiel 39:9......then Armagedddon (at Jesus's Second Coming).

After the final rebellion in Revelation 20, after Satan is released from the bottomless pit - where are those 7 years of Ezekiel 39:9 in the text of Revelation 20?

Ezekiel 39
Ezekiel 39:1-6....... the destruction of Gog's armies
Ezekiel 39:9..... 7 years following that destruction. Of which, Israel spends the first 7 months burying the the dead of Gog's army.

Those things are not in Revelation 20 because Gog/Magog of Ezekiel 38-39 is not after the 1000 years are over.
