Twiddling his thumbs? Plotting rebellion? Suffering in fear and torment? What do you think?

Which Satan?

(Said (Myself?) rhetorically Satan means Adversity) Myself? A nation? A people group?

2000 years has went by now. That’s double 1,000.

Thoughts Friend of?

Claiming everybody else but himself.
It is always somebody else's fault, look at Gen3:11-13 how it is not Adams fault that he sinned, where did he learn that if not from Satan.

Satan already has a plan to hinder the establishment of God's everlasting kingdom by providing his Good and faithful servants with cash to hinder the people from gaining their salvation while he is in the Bottomless Pit. What we are seeing at the moment is Satan providing the cash that he is giving to his good and faithful servants. Satan good and faithful servants will come from both the secular and religious quarters of the general populations. They are being raised up at this present time before Satan is Judged and imprisoned for 1,000 years in the Bottomless Pit.

Satan will wait patiently while he is in the Bottomless Pit conferring with those who will also be imprisoned with him in the Bottomless pit as to what they will be doing after the bottomless pit is unlocked.

Satan has no one to tempt for the thousand years, here is a good explanation..
'The Bible says that Satan will be bound in the “bottomless pit” during the 1,000 years. What is this pit?
“I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit. ...
He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit ... till the thousand years were finished” (Revelation 20:1–3).

Answer: The word for “bottomless pit” in the original Greek is “abussos,” or abyss. That same word is used in Genesis 1:2 in the Greek version of the Old Testament in connection with the creation of the earth, but there it is translated “deep.” “The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep.” The words “deep,” “bottomless pit,” and “abyss” here refer to the same thing—the earth in its totally dark, disorganized form before God made order of it. Jeremiah, in describing this earth during the 1,000 years, used virtually the same terms as these in Genesis 1:2: “without form, and void,” “no light,” “no man,” and “black” (Jeremiah 4:23, 25, 28). So the battered, dark earth with no people alive will be called the bottomless pit, or abyss, during the 1,000 years, just as it was in the beginning before Creation was completed. Also, Isaiah 24:22 speaks of Satan and his angels during the 1,000 years as “gathered in the pit” and “shut up in the prison.”

It doesn't say he gets imprisoned with other beings. Just himself, alone, with his thoughts, for a 1000 years.

Isaiah 24:21-22 tells us that Satan, the other wicked heavenly hosts and the kings of the earth that trampled God's Sanctuary and His earthly hosts at the bequest of the Little Horn are all imprisoned in a pit. In the Book of Revelation, we are told that the imprisoned kings of the earth rise up out of the Bottomless Pit when it is unlocked, that the four facetted beast and the Little Horn/False Prophet rise up out of the Bottomless Pit and that Satan will be released from his prison.

I have read the scriptures, and I can find references that tells me that Satan was imprisoned in the pit along with many others, namely the four beasts and the Little Horn of Daniel 7:2-12 and the judged kings of the earth.

Remember that not all revelation is found in one verse or a passage of scripture and that we have to search for the collective revelation that is found in the scriptures.

So let’s see Satan cannot come back as the antichrist and or the false prophet. That is trick had already been used and failed.
Keep in mind, Satan convince 1/3 to follow him before
while people were in their spiritual bodies, so don’t underestimate Satan when he gets out
And gets one more shot at the people. I am pretty sure Satan will convince many

So what is Satan thinking about right now
probably hatred towards Jesus like never before
For shutting down his show of being the fake god and having the whole world whore after him

People will be walking by the pit saying is that the man that fooled us?

And be careful people Satan is not a man he is a cherib/Satan

Archangel Gabriel translates into man of God
Man is just a figure of speech

When we see what he was up to before his confinement in this dark prison, (Rev 12:7-12) angrily making sure that he caused as much trouble as he possibly could in these “last days” on earth…..we can assume that he knows that his time in that abyss is finite and that God knows, and has foretold exactly what will happen when he is release….”for a little while”…(Rev 20:3)
Rev 20:7-10….
”Now as soon as the 1,000 years have ended, Satan will be released from his prison, 8 and he will go out to mislead those nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Maʹgog, to gather them together for the war. The number of these is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they advanced over the whole earth and encircled the camp of the holy ones and the beloved city. But fire came down out of heaven and consumed them. 10 And the Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulfur, where both the wild beast and the false prophet already were…”

Satan will be used one last time to test out the now sinless human race at the end of Christ’s thousand year reign….it is apparent that his old tricks will still work because this time he will do to an innumerable crowd, what he did to the first humans in Eden….tempting them to disobey their Sovereign Lord. It won’t last long though because God will step in once they have threatened his own, and he will annihilate those rebels who were tricked into believing what was not true……just like today. The devil and his henchmen will also be destroyed…never to tempt mankind again.

The “lake of fire” is never destroyed, because it will stand ready for any rebel in the future who dares to abuse their free will. Nothing will impeded God’s Sovereign will again, as long as he exists….which is forever…

You missed Gods declaration at the beginning..
Isaiah 24 King James Version
1 Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.
2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.
3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the Lord hath spoken this word.
