Hi there,
So there is a simple concept you can grasp, when it comes to suffering, which points out what the power of suffering is:
The further question is "if everything was used correctly, would there be any suffering?" The emphasis here is that the possibility of suffering is not what you need to avoid, but the misuse of things that potentially cause 'suffering'. The focus is on that: misusing things. Is all suffering, a 'misuse' of something not intended to be used that way? The answer is at least, that a lot of suffering could be avoided, if we used what we had the right way. This leads to a further interesting question.
If God wanted, He could prevent all future suffering, by forcing us to use everything the right way? What do you think? Is that God? I suppose you could also ask "if using things the right way reduces suffering, is God not obliged to at least make us consider it? I would argue, that when God with His still small voice warns us of what is going to happen, that is exactly what He is doing (warning us, about misuse or worse). I think ultimately what we have to do is get in agreement with God, about what is misuse and what is worse.
If you are in agreement with God about suffering, what you don't do, is go back to the start and try again, with less suffering in mind! God can restore, God can intercede, God can empower - these are great attributes of God that all deal with suffering. It is not as if God is afraid to help, because His Creation might not respond to suffering "perfectly".
I hope this has been of some encouragement.
God bless.

In other words, it's not the fire that is the problem, but the combination of the creation of fire, with the vulnerability of the flesh. But this leads to a further question.Should God not create fire, because someone might be burned?
