The meaning of this verse is that it stands in sharp contrast to what we actually do today. Today, we have the wedding and after this, we cut the cake and enjoy ourselves. At the time this verse was written, they would cut the cake and celebrate and then they would have the wedding. So, with this in mind, the groom's family prepared the wedding feast and after the ceremony, the bride arrived.​

The food for Christ's wedding feast is His Word, and it is up to us to prepare for the subsequent wedding.

Jesus very clearly said that He will tell people like the foolish virgins He doesn't know them and they will be cast out where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. Where is that?

This is absolutely false. The foolish virgins are not believers which is why they will say "Lord, Lord" when He returns and He will say He doesn't know them and will proceed to have them cast into the lake of fire where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Jesus would not tell believers he doesn't know them. True believers are those who know Christ. You must not even know what makes someone a Christian if you think that Jesus would tell a Christian He doesn't know them. That's ludicrous.

Jesus said this to people who are like the foolish virgins: " “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?" (Luke 6:46). People who think they are Christians but don't serve Him as their Lord are fooling themselves.

Jesus also said this to those who will say to Him "Lord, Lord" when He comes.

Here is what will happen to those who say "Lord, Lord" when He comes....

Jesus very clearly said that He will tell people like the foolish virgins He doesn't know them and they will be cast out where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. Where is that?

It's in "a furnace of fire". Jesus also called it "everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels" (Matt 25:41) and it's also called "the lake of fire" (Rev 20:15).
