I don't think the use of the word "many" is intended to limit the atonement in Mark 14:24.How do you explain Christs' words himself using the word "many" not all?
Mark 14:24 (KJV) And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
John 17:2 (KJV) As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
1 John 2:2 NIV
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
John 17:2 NIV
For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him.
Titus 2:11 ESV
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people,
