So when is the resurrection of the dead, and the living in Christ being caught up to the Lord?

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall “rise first”: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

Notice we see #1 the Lord himself decending, #2 the trump of the archangel is sounded, #3 “the dead rise first”and #4 the living are caught up to meet the Lord.

So when do the dead in Christ rise first? The answer is below…

John 6:39
And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at “the last day.”

John 6:40
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at “the last day.”

John 6:44
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at “the last day.”

John 11:24
Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at “the last day.”

So it is clear, the dead are raised on “the last day”.

Notice the judgment is also on the last day as well….

John 12:48
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in “the last day.”
The Judgment of saints is shown on the last day…. Revelation 20:4 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and “judgment was given unto them:”and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

Confirmed here….

Daniel 7:21-22 21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; 22 Until the Ancient of days came, and “judgment was given to the saints”of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.”

When do saints posses the kingdoms of this world?

Revelation 11:15 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.”

Daniel was told when he shall stand in the lot of his inheritance, and that was not until “the end.”

Daniel 12:13 13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at “the end of the days.”

Notice in the above, (Daniel 7:22) Christ first comes and the judgment is given to the saints on the last day.

So when does Christ come?

Son of Gods coming last day….

Luke 17:26-31

26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until “the day”that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.30 Even thus shall it be in “the day”when the Son of man is revealed.”

Notice above it was “the day” Noah entered they were destroyed, and “the same day” Lot left Sodom they were destroyed.

At the last day, at the Last Trump….

1Corinthians 15:51-52 “Behold I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at “the last trump:” for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall be raised incorruptable, and we shall be changed”

Notice at “the last trump”the dead are raised, and so what happens at the last trump…

Revelation 10:7 7 But in the days of the voice of “the seventh angel,” when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be “finished,” as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Revelation 11:12 12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Revelation 11:15 15 And “the seventh angel sounded;” and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.”

Also notice the elect are still on earth during the great tribulation and wrath of God.

Matthew 24:22 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Revelation 7:14 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Revelation 16:15 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

All the scriptures agree there is no resurrection of the dead or the living in Christ until “the last day,”and at “the last trump.”

Now some will try to use Matthew 24:40-41 And Luke 17:34-37 as pre-trib rapture proof, but again Jesus says it has to do with His coming, when the Son is revealed. And both of those prophecies speak of the destruction of the ungodly on that same day, as it was in Noah’s day and in Lots day, just as we saw above in Luke 17:26-31.

It says the same in Matthew 24:38 that “the day” Noah entered the ark the flood came and took them all away.

Now in Luke17:36 Jesus said one shall be taken, and the other left. In the next verse Jesus is asked where? Jesus replies “Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.”

To prove this has to do with Christs second coming we go to Matthew 24:27-28 “ For as the lightning comes out of th east, and shines even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.”

So what is Jesus speaking of here about a carcase and eagles being gathered together? Jesus is speaking of the supper of the great God mentioned in Revelation 19:17 And if you look at the context of Revelation chapter 19:11-21 it is about the second coming of Christ with all his saints, the marriage supper of the Lamb, the slaughter of the beasts army and the kings of the earth, and their flesh being fed to the fowls. And also the judgment of the beast and false prophet, which happens on “the last day.”

Revelation 19:11-2111 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”

So all the scriptures agree, all these things happen on “the last day.”

Notice what Paul says below…

Ephesians 1:10
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:”

This also proves there is no secret pre-trib rapture because at “the last day” God is going to gather together “all the host”of heaven along with “all”the dead and living saints on earth at this single end time event.

Peace

Agree. It's very clear. Jesus will return on the last day which will be "after the tribulation of those days" when the last trumpet sounds. At that time the dead in Christ will be resurrected and, with those who are alive and remain, will be gathered to Him "in the air" (1 Thess 4:14-17) and He will then proceed to destroy all of His enemies just as He did with the flood in Noah's day (Matthew 24:29-39, 2 Peter 3:6-7). And then the judgment occurs at that point (John 12:48, Matthew 25:31-46, Revelation 11:15-18, Revelation 20:11-15).

All the scriptures agree there is no resurrection of the dead or the living in Christ until “the last day,”and at “the last trump.”

This is a topic greatly misunderstood by many.

Daniel said, "came" and "was." Jesus said "is." Paul said "were." John said "was." Etc.

All but Jesus spoke of the timing as past tense. Jesus spoke in present tense.

If I said they were all correct...would I be wrong? What then of the many doctrines to the contrary??

Welcome steward, Good post.
Just to add a few more scriptures to the list...,

2Tim 4

I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom:
2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.
5 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry
6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come.
7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;
8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

I understand the above verses to be saying that the Lord will judge all the living and the dead when he appears.
When he appears the righteous , whether living or dead , are rewarded with a glorious crown.
As for the unrighteous living and dead, they will have to give account for their rejection of God and his saving Gospel....,

1Pet 4
4 In all this, they are surprised that you do not run with them into the same excesses of dissipation, and they malign you; 5 but they will give account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
6 For the gospel has for this purpose been preached even to those who are dead, that though they are judged in the flesh as men, they may live in the spirit according to the will of God.
7 The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer. 8 Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Be hospitable to one another without complaint.

Matt 16
Jesus said...,
27 For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay every man according to his deeds.

Every man whether living or dead will be judged when he comes.

Lets not forget Jude 1

, “Behold, the Lord came with many thousands of His holy ones, 15 to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

16 These are grumblers, finding fault, following after their own lusts; they speak arrogantly, flattering people for the sake of gaining an advantage.17 But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, 18 that they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.”
19 These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.

20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. 22 And have mercy on some, who are doubting; 23 save others, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by the flesh.

24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, 25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever.

Amen.

Just to be clear, the first resurrection and judgement is to the house of God.

Revelation 20:4-6

King James Version

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Notice we see the Lord HIMSELF coming in 1 Thes 4. Notice at the coming of the Lord in Matthew 24 He send His angels. Two different comings. Two raptures.

Matthew 24
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

So when do the dead in Christ rise first? The answer is below…John 6:39

So I will raise him up "at the last day"

Which last day? The last day before the hour of testing? Or is it the last day at the end of the great tribulation which is at the 6th seal. Or the last day at the end of wrath.

We have a resurrection at each of these last days

Daniel 12
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Notice that MANY OF THEM that sleep in the ground shall awake. Why do not ALL OF THEM that sleep in the ground awake?

At the end of the Great Tribulation there will be a resurrection. That event occurs at the 6th seal. The 6th seal is the coming of Jesus after the great tribulation for the harvest. This the second coming when all eyes see the coming of the Lord. This is not when Jesus comes with armies of heaven at the end of wrath

Wrath and tribulation do not occur in the same timeframe.

Notice you have the church going through the wrath of God. Notice we are not appointed to wrath.

1 Thes 5
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Notice that this is incorrect. Notice that that Noah was told to enter the ark and one day one of the 7 days and notice He was shut in the ark by God at the end of the 1st day.

Genesis 7
And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.

3 Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

Genesis 7
16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in.

Notice it doesn't say an angel blows the last trump. Notice that Paul never had to clarify what the last trump was. John did not write Revelation until 95AD so what was the last trump before John wrote Revelation. All the Jew knew that the Last Trump is blown on the Feast of Trumpets. This is the fall harvest feast. A day of blowing trumpets.

Notice that Revelation 11:12 has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the events that occur when the 7th trumpet blown by an angel occurs. There is a rapture to heaven of the two witnesses BEFORE the seventh trumpet blown by an angel sounds.

Also notice the elect are still on earth during the great tribulation and wrath of God.
Notice that the great tribulation is over at the 6th seal and the wrath of God begins when the 7th seal is opened. The great tribulation and the wrath of God do not occur in the same timeframe. We can tell by the great tribulation is over before Jesus comes at the 6th seal as it is marked by the signs of the sun, moon and stars.

Matthew 24
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Revelation 6
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Notice that Revelation 7:14 is further proof that the great tribulation is over at the 6th seal. Revelation 16:15 is for those cast into the wrath of God. We are not appointed to wrath.

Notice there are two raptures. One like the days of Noah and one like the days of Lot.

Notice the fig tree has two harvests.

Hosea 9
10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.

Notice Jacob had two brides. Notice one coming is at the trump of God and one coming is at the last trump.

ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Genseis 7
9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.

10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

Notice Noah entered the are 7 days before the flood and the door was shut after day one.

The reason that the eagles are gathered where the body is, is because the saint will be gathered where Jesus is. When Jesus returns at the second coming which occurs at the 6th seal He brings the Church with Him. It is the gathering from heaven and earth.

Mark 13
27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

You are confusing the marriage supper of the Lamb with the army's leaving heaven and the destruction that follows.

The marriage supper of the Lamb not the bird of the earth feasting.

Peace
There will be a SECRET RAPTURE. There are two harvests. The grain harvest and the fruit harvest. Here is the secret rapture in the old testament. This is the barley harvest, the dead in Christ and the wheat harvest, the alive that remain.

Song of Soloman 2

8 The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.

9 My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice.

10 My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.

11 For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;

12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;

13 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

14 O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.

Notice that He stand behind our wall and shows Himself through the Lattice. Notice He is in the secret places of the stairs. Notice there are two rise ups. The first rise up is in the spring after winter. This is the dead in Christ rising first. The alive that remain are given their rise up at the end of summer when the fig tree puts for green figs and the tender grapes give a good smell.

There will also be a fruit harvest when the grapes become ripe. The 144,000 will be the first fruits of this harvest.

There is more than just two harvests. In Israel, there were no less than THREE harvest feast celebrations, at Passover (the barley harvest), at Pentecost 50 days later (the wheat harvest), and then in the 7th month there was the Feast of Ingathering for all the rest of the crops to be gathered in to finish the agricultural year.

God also designed for there to be no less than THREE bodily resurrection "harvests" of the saints' bodies out of the grave. Two of these events have already taken place, back at Passover in AD 33 for the Matthew 27:52-53 saints, and in AD 70 at that year's Pentecost day (which was the end of the 1,335 days of Daniel 12:11-13). We are presently waiting for the final bodily resurrection "harvest" which will take place in the 7th month of a year in our distant future.

Two different comings. Two raptures.

Matthew 24
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

So I will raise him up "at the last day"

Which last day? The last day before the hour of testing? Or is it the last day at the end of the great tribulation which is at the 6th seal. Or the last day at the end of wrath.

We have a resurrection at each of these last days

Daniel 12
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Genesis 7

No there is only one coming harvest.

Notice what Paul says below…

The Lord sends forth his angels first to bind the tares ….

Matthew 13:30
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

The Lord is coming with and in the clouds/saints.

1 Thessalonians 3:13
To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

Agreed.

at Pentecost 50 days later (the wheat harvest),
The barley and wheat cakes are presented on Pentecost. However, Pentecost is fully come on the Feast of New Wine which is 50 days later.

Acts 2
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

The summer wheat harvest is celebrated on the Feast of New Wine.

and then in the 7th month there was the Feast of Ingathering for all the rest of the crops to be gathered in to finish the agricultural year.
Yes there is. That is what we see here.

Revelation 11
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy
them which destroy the earth.

There is also the fruit harvest which is celebrated on the Feast of trumpets which is a day of blowing trumpets.

Numbers 29
And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.

God also designed for there to be no less than THREE bodily resurrection "harvests" of the saints' bodies out of the grave. Two of these events have already taken place, back at Passover in AD 33 for the Matthew 27:52-53 saints,

and in AD 70 at that year's Pentecost day (which was the end of the 1,335 days of Daniel 12:11-13).
I would like to see this calculation.

Can you provide????????????

No sir, we are waiting for the dead in Christ to rise first, the barley harvest. Then the alive that remained will be raptured, the wheat harvest. Then the fruit harvest will occur at the last trump blown on the feast of trumpets......which occurs on the 7th month of the year on the 1st day......Jewish calendar. Those are raptures.

Then comes the judgment and the raising of ALL that are still in the graves.

Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles is celebrated from the evening on the 15th to the evening of the 22nd day to the of the seventh month of Tishrei.

Notice in Rev 14 that it is the righteous that are gathered first and the unrighteous are cast into the wrath of God. What are you going to do with this????????

Revelation 14
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Whoa Nellie,

You said there was a single harvest and the tares were gathered first. I just showed a harvest where the righteous are gathered first and the unrighteous are cast into the wrath of God.

This alone proves what you are saying is in error. Can you explain why the righteous are gathered first in the verses that I posted?

No, you can't, but you are free to try.

Both grow together until “the Harvest”(singular harvest)

Matthew 13:30
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

As I said. The harvest that you are quoting in Matthew 13 shows that the tares are gathered first.

The harvest that I am quoting in Revelation 14 shows that righteous are gathered first.

The are obviously not the same harvest. That would put you in error.

Can you explain why???????

Also there is not a single harvest. There is barley, wheat, and fruit. Also an ingathering harvest at Tabernacles.

The harvest in Revelation 14 is speaking of the same end time Harvest. It does not contradict Matthew 13. Revelation 14 does not say “the righteous are gathered first” it just shows both being harvested at the same time.

The date would be 30AD and this was not a harvest. It was the first fruits with Jesus being the first.
I am accustomed to people debating back and forth about this particular date for the resurrection of Christ, whether AD 30, or AD 33, or other years. At the moment, pinpointing this year is not a critical point for what we are discussing, so I won't go there. But it was most definitely called a "harvest" of the saints' bodies out of the grave in Revelation 14:14-16.

Yes, Christ was called the "First-fruits", but the 144,000 were ALSO called "First-fruits" in Rev. 14:4, who stood with the Lamb on Mount Zion - literally standing in the city of Jerusalem where the Matthew 27:52-53 resurrected saints were seen by many on the day of Christ's resurrection. Both Christ and the 144,000 (the Matt. 27:52-53 saints) all shared the same title of the "First-fruits" because they all shared the experience of being the first mass group to be resurrected out of the grave that same day during Passover week. Two more mass group bodily resurrection events would follow, one of which took place on AD 70's Pentecost day.

I would like to see this calculation.

Can you provide????????????
Sure, I can provide this, and it synchronizes with Christ's own prediction of when He would return in the glory of His Father with the holy angels, to give rewards to everyone according to their works. Christ said His second-coming return would happen while some of those He was speaking to in Matthew 16:27-28 were still alive in that first century generation. Given the natural lifespan of mankind, an AD 70 second coming return of Christ is entirely within the expected range of Christ's prediction in Matt. 16:27-28. If they were a young adult, it was entirely possible that some hearing Christ's words at that time would live to see Christ's return and the events in AD 70 transpiring.

Daniel gave the exact countdown to that resurrection day in Daniel 12:11-13. Daniel gave two signs to look for (which Christ again highlighted in the Olivet Discourse). These two distinct events would occur within the same season of time. For one sign, there would be what Daniel termed "the abomination of desolation" (which "abomination of desolation" Luke 21:20 interprets for us as "Jerusalem surrounded by armies"). For the other sign occurring in the same season of time, there would be a time when a daily sacrifice was taken away.

Both of these two events occurred together in the same summer season of AD 66. First, Eleazar the temple's governor organized the removal of the daily sacrifice which until then had been given for the Roman empire and its emperor. Eleazar also forbad the acceptance of any sacrifices brought to the temple by foreigners. This broke the agreement between Rome and Israel which had allowed Israel to practice Judaism as a "religio licita" - one of the state-approved religions of the empire. This was an overt act of war, and Nero responded accordingly. The Roman-occupied Masada fortress was also taken by the Jews at this time, as well as the garrison of Roman troops at the Fortress of Antonia being slaughtered.

This rebellious act of provocation with Eleazar taking away the temple's daily sacrifice for the Roman empire and its emperor resulted in Nero sending Cestius Gallus to surround Jerusalem with a Roman army in AD 66. Gallus's Roman troops battled their way into Jerusalem and made contact with the temple gate, which they were preparing to undermine in October of AD 66 (the abomination "standing where it ought not"). This occasion was the beginning of Daniel's 1,335-day countdown to a resurrection at Christ's return.

We are told that for no reason whatever, Cestius Gallus decided to withdraw his army from Jerusalem at that point, when he no doubt could have pressed his advantage and taken the city within the week. God designed this unexplainable withdrawal of Gallus's Roman troops for an important reason: it gave any believers present within the city of Jerusalem at that time a brief couple of days to flee from Jerusalem and head for the mountains (as Christ had warned them to do back in Luke 21:20-21, when they saw "Jerusalem surrounded by armies"). After those couple of days, the Zealot armies would return to Jerusalem from their victory over Cestius Gallus' troops and lock the gates to prevent anyone escaping from the city.

Daniel then wrote that 1,290 days of this 1,335-day period would pass. Coincidentally, this set period of 1,290 days ended 5 days after Passover week had started in AD 70, when once again the Roman army showed up to surround Jerusalem and besiege the city under the leadership of Titus. From this 1,290th day when Titus had set up his army around Jerusalem, there was the final period of 45 more days that would pass until Pentecost day in AD 70. Daniel was promised the blessing of participating in this resurrection at the end of those 1,335 days. This Pentecost day resurrection at Christ's second coming return in AD 70 falls within the time requirement of Christ's prediction - that He would return before some of those He was then speaking to in Matthew 16:27-28 had yet died.

These two fulfilled bodily resurrection events taking place at Passover and at Pentecost day will be followed by yet another third bodily resurrection at Christ's return in our future, at the time when the Feast of Tabernacles would ordinarily have been celebrated (in the 7th month of the year). It will not be soon.
