I’m asking the right person. You‘ve been making my case for me.

I doubt that. You are talking to someone who was trained to k.ll.
But as a Christian, I avoid killing. But I would if that's what was required to stop someone from harming or killing an innocent person ...my children, grandchildren, or anyone else in my care. Each situation is different.

How many have you killed?

How many have you shot, but they survived?

How many have you knifed?

The number of dead is not a badge. For instance, I returned fire to make them stop that.

You’re advocating killing our enemies. How many have you killed? When was the last time you killed someone?

Was there ever a time when you killed someone that was threatening your family, or someone else's family, when it failed to prevent the assaulted family member from being muredered?

Wrong questions ... wrong circumstances ....wrong person.

Wrong, wrong, wrong.

You’re advocating something that isn’t in line with loving your enemy. It’s fair to ask how often you have done it. Have you practiced the violence that you’re preaching?

You have no right to know the score I never kept and right now you are carrying on in a most uncivilized manner. People collecting trophies and people inquiring of them are not fit humans. You are asking to score points and that is so vicious.

I have every right to look into the background of those who are urging Christians to kill their enemies. You are enemies of Messiah.

I’m not the vicious killer. I’m not the unfit human. You are.

You might do well with a spirit-led study of Solomon's writings.

You are acting much like anything but a teacher. You pretend I am sinning and you are judging my spiritual condition. Conversation you have the right, scripturally based but, you have left scripture behind and have become boorish.

You offered your testimony. You know from first hand experience how evil killing is and how evil you are. You are advocating killing our enemies. I’m not your judge; the Messiah is.

Conversation you have the right, scripturally based but, you have left scripture behind and have become boorish.

I use the same scriptures you use. You sought conversation with a conscientious objector. You sought me out, I didn’t seek you out.

Boorish? You’ve been the poster child for boorish.

I haven't preached violence. And yet, if someone violently attacks my loved ones or innocents in my presence, and I have the ability to end it, I would do it. Would I seek someone out to kill them? No. But to defend the weak against an aggressor ....yes.

I haven't preached violence.

If you’re encouraging Christian to kill their enemies, or if you have supported those who have, you have preached violence.

And yet, if someone violently attacks my loved ones or innocents in my presence, and I have the ability to end it, I would do it.

You’ve said that you have done it without using lethal force. You’ve also suggested that you would resort to lethal force.

There is no guarantee that you have the ability to end it, no matter if you resort to peaceful or violent means.

***

I would remind my readers that a person saying they would do something in an extremely stressful situation isn’t necessarily what the person would actually do if they were to find themselves in that situation. (See my post #86).

“Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”

(Romans 13:10, NIV)

Who is my neighbor? Is it not every human person? Even my enemies?

The man (or woman) who would threaten to harm / even kill me, my wife, my child, someone in my faith community, someone in my secular community, anyone - is not a person who is loving his neighbor. He is harming his neighbor.

Now come “Christians” advocating that Christians act as their unloving neighbor is acting toward them; “Christians” who are advocating using the same violent means that their enemies are using (or threatening to use) against them -> they have become in heart, and urge others to become in heart, persons who would harm their wicked neighbors. (To say nothing about those who have literally practiced the evil that is in their hearts.)

I call upon Christians everywhere to love their neighbors, not harm them; to do them good, even if they suffer for it. Suffer for doing good, not evil.

I call upon Christians everywhere not to repay harm with harm, evil with evil.

Treat others the way you would have them treat you, Christian, even when they will not.

I stand opposed by “Christians“ who aren’t abiding by my exhortation; which I make on behalf of, and at the behest of, the Messiah.

I’m not surprised that they are gnashing their teeth at me. They’re gnashing their teeth at the one who sent me.

Agreed. Is it harming a person if you allow them to be victimized? Think about it.

Are you able to prevent all people from being victimized? The police aren’t. Think about it.

I’ve already told you that I would use non-lethal means to try to protect anyone in my presence from being victimized. “Good,” you said. I took you at your word.

Do you believe Jesus Christ is God the Son?
