That's an assumption brethren. Not written.Currently God is specifically dealing with the Gentiles, and not the Jew. (*Time of the Gentiles"..) Paul is the "Apostle to the Gentiles".
Soon, the Trib starts, and God resumes His specific dealing with the Jew.
See the (144,000) for the update.
God has never stopped... dealing with the children of Israel. In all their scatterings and migrations God has been involved and even revealed it in His Word (Isaiah 42:9).
The problem is those who don't study His Word enough in order to understand this. Those keep making false assumptions as if they do know, when they do not. Some country preacher who doesn't really know his Bible makes a wild statement like it's truth and then it becomes a pop fad belief by the congregations that don't study their Bible either. Popularity of a doctrine does not... make it truth from God's Word.
Apostle Paul in Romans 11 already showed us per God's Word that God has spiritually blinded the majority of his brethren the Jews, until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in (i.e., when Jesus returns). That is when God will remove their blindness. And Paul showed there that God put that blindness upon them (the Jews) so The Gospel would go to the Gentiles.
However, God's Word reveals that the majority of the other tribes of Israel would also receive The Gospel because of being scattered among the Gentiles. That history most of my Christian brethren don't know about because their country preachers don't study enough to know about it either, blind leaders of the blind.
And to really... show how blind some of those preachers are today, they believe that the 144,000 represent blinded Orthodox Jews that go through the tribulation, but that some convert to Jesus, and become what those blind preachers call "tribulation saints", which is nowhere written in God's Word. What God's Word reveals about the tribulation, is that everyone entering it will already believe one way or the other going in, and all through it. That means if you went into the trib as a non-believing Jew, you remain a non-believer until the day of Christ's future return at the end of that trib. Thus Pre-trib Rapture doctrine's theories on that are false, made up by some assuming country preacher in 1800's Great Britain.
Revelation 7 reveals the 144,000 are ALL CHRISTIAN ISRAELITES, members of Christ's Church! And the reason is simple, because the Scripture shows them being SEALED with GOD's SEAL. Per New Testament doctrine, that 'sealing' is by The Holy Spirit which comes through Faith on Jesus Christ.
The "great multitude" of Rev.7:9 represents those 'sealed' of the Gentiles. So both of those groups in Rev.7 represent Christ's Church at the end that goes through the "great tribulation", both believing Israelites, and believing Gentiles.
