I only need God’s Love..that is what I said and from that you drew conclusions that I’m closed off.

Antisocial..what on earth are you talking about...yourself obviously...please don’t speak for me.

I think you are misunderstanding me. I’m not closed off, I Love talking to people, every time I go out God brings someone across my path..I met a boxer on Monday , I loved hearing all about his competitions he has entered...when I take my dog to the vet, I always strike up a conversation with someone in the waiting room, same when I catch a bus......God is interested in people...

I don’t need anything back from anybody...when I help someone, I don’t expect anything back in return...

Whatever made you think I was closed off to people...I Love my family, I show Gods Love to my family...because I don’t expect anything back from them, how on earth can you draw conclusions that I’m closed off?

Good grief..a lot of misunderstanding when posted in text.
Of course I was projecting so let’s say I struggle with it. Not you. I’m meditating on what these feelings I get are. You make a good point about expecting nothing in return. I was trying to find a passage where I remember reading where Paul speaks on being hurt saying something about when they should have honored him, they were rejecting him. Not that I’m relating that to how I feel but maybe Paul elaborates on human nature and longings of belonging. I get our value and worth comes from God. But still the desire for relationships is there…why the strong desire for relationships if those relationships will be rejected is what I’m wondering. Is the desire for restoration of relationships a bad thing? Is it wrong to long? What is this Body of Christ He speaks of? Things like that.

So you enjoyed spending time encouraging a man who gains financially by entering a ring and beating another man up, causing at least brain damage, in one of the most violent of sports.

Lady you really are mixed up.

I have know times when I had His faith, as well as my own. I am not sure of the position I am in at present because of the circumstances I am going through in regards to some very deep healing. Thanks.
I feel that I very well understand this. In my case much of the deep healing God has worked and is working in my have been so brutally difficult I'd have had a hard time saying anything with understanding about my state!

Much love!

That self righteous, holier than thou gospel is not the gospel of Christ, which is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes. (Romans 1:16) Rather than promoting Christ, certain folks instead prefer to exploit the gospel and Christ in order to promote themselves. :(
Hi again Dad, and regarding your post and Epi's reply further 'down.' ...#564

Look at Epi's response to this post of yours? He chose this time, to support your post and only because he chose to respond with vague, deceptive words, by design. It is his easy way out. He really does not agree with you, I assure you. As his words mean other things completely. And he can never apply scripture accurately and in context to convey his personal doctrine.

When you pin him down on what he meant by his words he will deflect, either with a childish reply, or try to ridicule you. He has no other option in this situation.

Let's just look at a few of your words..."....the gospel of Christ, which is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes. (Romans 1:16).."

He replied to it by saying, "...Amen again...the power of God to walk as Jesus walked without sin. In Him is no sin..."

He misled you. He really meant he is free from sin and can be not just Christlike, as we know we can be, no, he meant we can be Christ himself, at least at times in this body. This is a profound and nearly touching on blasphemy.

This is what I believe regarding the power of God in a genuine believer's life.....a little drawn out...

Can we walk in the power of God to walk as Jesus walked without sin

The Bible teaches that Jesus walked in the power of God without sin. The question is, can we, as believers, walk in the same power and without sin? The answer is a resounding “yes” and “no”.

Yes, we can walk in the power of God. The Bible says, “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25). This means that as believers, we have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, guiding and empowering us to live a life pleasing to God. We can walk in the power of God by surrendering to His will, seeking His guidance, and trusting in His provision.

No, we cannot walk without sin. In other words we may have moments and days and even weeks where we are never conscious of sin, although it is very temporary. The Bible says, “If we say, ‘We have no sin,’ we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8). As believers, we are still a type believer's sinner, in this body, and will continue to struggle with sin until we are glorified in heaven. However, as you suggested, we can walk in the power of God, and He will help us overcome sin and live a life that is pleasing to Him.

And how Can We Walk in the Power of God without Sin?
To walk in the power of God without sin, we must:
  • Tune our hearts to the voice of the Holy Spirit (John 10:27; 16:13)...listen and obey the will of God
  • Choose to live according to what God reveals to us (Proverbs 3:5-6)
  • Seek God’s guidance and provision (Psalm 32:8)
  • Trust in God’s sovereignty and goodness (Romans 8:28)
  • Confess and repent of our sins (1 John 1:9)
In summary, while we cannot walk without sin, as our typical lifestyle, we can walk in the power of God by surrendering to His will, seeking His guidance, and trusting in His provision. With the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, we can overcome sin and live a life that is pleasing to God.

Now see if you can find even a vague similarity to my response in any of Epi's words, yesterday, today and tomorrow. I don't think so, he will keep entertaining the 'higher walk' and a fake 'higher' righteousness and holiness walk. Keep you confused as he cannot describe it with scripture without bending its meaning.

Great Day.....and many blessings to you and family

I enjoyed listening to his story and yes “ I Loved” listening to his story.

Do you know that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ.

I feel sorry for you because you try to heap shame on another and constantly repent because you have no understanding of being Born Of Gods seed..so if anyone is mixed up, it’s you!..

Praying that you get heart/ spirit revelation, you may then be free from trying to understand God in your own human intellect..

That what I have found. Things coming up from the past can be very disturbing and part of the healing is being dysregulated whilst working though it.

Feelings...I’m not led by feelings..I’m led by the Spirit.

I’ve been led by feelings though..not now..feelings play no part in my walk..they do try to slip in from time to time though.

A Born Again is led by the Spirit..not our emotions/ feelings.

If we are to do God’s will..feeling and emotions must be thrown out the window...that’s another place of understanding the Spirit brought me to.

@marks is this it?

As part of my recovery from childhood trauma, I have come across a coach called The Crappy Childhood Fairy, and she does courses on looking for a partner which I may get myself as she seems pretty wise about romantic relationships.

I have decided that I will look for a husband as I continue to heal, something I never imagined I would do because I am in my 70's. But I have no family to speak of and need someone to love and be loved. I have never had a Christian husband before, and imagine that it must be wonderful to have that to share. I am praying like you that God will have someone for me.

No one should look for a husband if they are Born Again...I too would Love a husband...only God can bring that husband to cross my path and if it’s his will for my life, he will bring it to pass...I’m 100% reliant on God and not self..

I too have had childhood trauma...God healed me of that trauma , trauma in 2 marriages also...he’s also healed me in that area, I also believe he is preparing me for a husband....we are spirit children...not worldly children who did it “ their way” ....as a child of God, he does everything his way in us..not the other way round.

I have much Love to give!....

How else do we draw people to the Lord? By ignoring them? Or by being kind? You don't know what was in her heart, or if God will arrange them to meet again.

I think actions speak louder than words.

If we say we love someone, yet our actions speak different. our words are meaningless.

If we say we do not need we only need God's love and do not care about what others think, then go off the deep end when someone disagrees with you like some do. Well again, actions speak louder than words.

I do not see this from you. You seem from what I have seen to say what you feel. and back up those with actions.. even if we disagree.

whats even more interesting, Is last I heard him say, He is not yet without sin. so he has not even arrived yet.. I think he said once or twice he had entered this state..

Of course we are to bring the gospel to those who we meet, but that does not have to include encouraging their ungodly practices. We meet a murderer and listen to how he kills his victims?

I would also suggest, it is not a good thing to puff yourself up. as I have learned (to often the hard way) God has a habit of taking us down a peg or two when we start boasting

amen

a person can only be found blameless if they are innocent (which only one man is innocent, and he died on a cross) or the person has paid their debt, or someone else paid their debt for them (remission of sin redemption or justification by redemption)

Jesus became our sin, and the born again become "Christ's Righteousness".

"God hath made JESUS>.. to be SIN...for us".

Effect?

"Made Righteous".. having become.... "THE ...... Righteousness of God, in Christ"... = a "New Creation"..... "born......again".
