Dunno. Seems like the "responses" are more of a recitation of talking points that are tangentially related to what was said.

Yes, the wisdom from above is reasonable - able to be discussed according to 1 John 3.

Refusal to discuss raises flags for me.

Please point me to a perfect text or perfect translation.

It’s spiritually discerned.

But my answer will be foolishness to you.

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Corinthians 2:14, KJV)

I am very much into spiritual discernment - please share what text or translation you consider perfect. :)

What part of 1 John 3 ? (sorry, not following the discussion very well)

Sorry my mistake - James 3

13 Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. 17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. 18 And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

At the end of the day the final arbiter is the Holy Spirit granting understanding to the reader so it comes back to the relationship between the reader and Our Father who reveals Truth by His Spirit.

It is folly to believe in a perfect text or a perfect translation.

Excellent!!...Amen!

No it is not a lie... it is an expression.

We know Jesus quoted from the Septuagint in the Greek - It is therefore valid to refer back to the text He quoted from to improve our understanding. The Greek language carried meaning beyond the ability of English.

Which translation do you lean on - you seem to dismiss the best translations available today.
It makes no sense for Yeshua to speak Greek to the Jews. Actually, Aramaic was the language in the area.

Aramaic was the spoken language of first century Israel.

According to first century Jewish historian, Josephus, Jews didn't speak Greek in first century Israel. He wrote:

"I have also taken a great deal of pains to obtain the learning of the Greeks, and understand the elements of the Greek language, although I have so long accustomed myself to speak our own tongue, that I cannot pronounce Greek with sufficient exactness; for our nation does not encourage those that learn the languages of many nations, and so adorn their discourses with the smoothness of their periods; because they look upon this sort of accomplishment as common, not only to all sorts of free-men, but to as many of the servants as please to learn them. But they give him the testimony of being a wise man who is fully acquainted with our laws, and is able to interpret their meaning; on which account, as there have been many who have done their endeavors with great patience to obtain this learning, there have yet hardly been so many as two or three that have succeeded therein, who were immediately well rewarded for their pains. – Antiquities of Jews XX, XI

I should not be surprised by those who announce how those of us who have studied the origin of the New Testament books and the manipulation by copyists and scribes are accused of having evil intent. Those announcement hold no water for the history is out there to see. If there was ever a reason to study complete the available information and pray for spiritual guidance, now is the time.

I also know that there are lazy people who simply want to be told what to believe - and that is not from God Himself.

There is truth out there, but it must be wanted. It does not come from Sunday School, sermons, or commentaries specifically. It comes from our studies and by sincere requests to God for "the truth." If we fail to listen to all views and dive into scriptural studies, we will not "know" the truth. We will simply accept someone else's statements as "truth." At that point, we are not "bible believers." We are parrots.

Jesus was fluent in Aramaic. Why do you avoid the Peshitta?

The Language of Jesus

Aramaic

It is the general consensus of religious scholars and historians that Jesus and his disciples primarily spoke Aramaic, the traditional language of Judea in the first century AD. Their Aramaic was most likely a Galilean accent distinct from that of Jerusalem. Jesus spent most of his time in the communities of Nazareth and Capernaum in Galilee, which were Aramaic-speaking villages. The Gospels support this view showing Jesus using various Aramaic terms: talitha koum (Mark 5:41); ephphatha (Mark 7:34); eloi eloi lama sabachthani (Matthew 27:46; Mark 15:34); abba (Mark 14:36). Historians, scientists, and social anthropologists largely agree that Aramaic was the prevalent language in Israel during Jesus’ time. Aramaic was very similar to Hebrew, but with many terms and expressions that were acquired from other languages and cultures, notably Babylonian.
