"Rome" was not the Church, Both Peter and Paul were there.

A little well known History from primary source:

Pliny to the Emperor Trajan

It is my practice, my lord, to refer to you all matters concerning which I am in doubt. For who can better give guidance to my hesitation or inform my ignorance? I have never before participated in trials of Christians, so I do not know what offenses are to be punished or investigated, or to what extent. And I have been not a little hesitant as to whether there should be any distinction on account of age, or no difference recognized between the very young and the more mature. Is pardon to be granted for repentance, or if a man has once been a Christian is it irrelevant whether he has ceased to be one? Is the name itself to be punished, even without offenses, or only the offenses perpetrated in connection with the name?

Meanwhile, in the case of those who were denounced to me as Christians, I have followed the following procedure: I interrogated them as to whether they were Christians; those who confessed I interrogated a second and a third time, threatening them with punishment; those who persisted I ordered executed. For I had no doubt that, whatever the nature of their creed, stubbornness and inflexible obstinacy surely deserve to be punished. There were others possessed of the same folly; but because they were Roman citizens, I signed an order for them to be transferred to Rome.

Soon accusations spread because of these proceedings, as usually happens, and several incidents occurred. An anonymous document was published containing the names of many persons. Those who denied that they were or had been Christians, when they invoked the gods in words dictated by me, offered prayer with incense and wine to your image, which I had ordered to be brought for this purpose together with statues of the gods, and also cursed Christ – none of which those who are really Christians can, it is said, be forced to do — these I thought should be discharged. Others named by the informer declared that they were Christians, but then denied it, asserting that they had been but had ceased to be, some three years before, others many years, some as much as twenty-five years. They all worshipped your image and the statues of the gods, and cursed Christ. They asserted, however, that the sum and substance of their fault or error had been that they were accustomed to meet on a fixed day before dawn and sing responsively a hymn to Christ as to a god, and to bind themselves by oath, not to do some crime, but not to commit fraud, theft, or adultery, not falsify their trust, nor to refuse to return a trust when called upon to do so. When this was over, it was their custom to depart and to assemble again to partake of food — but ordinary and innocent food.

Even this, they affirmed, they had ceased to do after my edict by which, in accordance with your instructions, I had forbidden political associations. Accordingly, I judged it all the more necessary to find out what the truth was by torturing two female slaves who were called deaconesses. But I discovered nothing else but depraved, excessive superstition. I therefore postponed the investigation and hastened to consult you. For the matter seemed to me to warrant consulting you, especially because of the number involved. For many persons of every age, every rank, and also of both sexes are and will be endangered. For the contagion of this superstition has spread not only to the cities but also to the villages and farms. But it seems possible to check and cure it.

It is certainly quite clear that the temples, which had been almost deserted, have begun to be frequented, that the established religious rites, long neglected, are being resumed, and that from everywhere sacrificial animals are coming, for which until now very few purchasers could be found. Hence it is easy to imagine what a multitude of people can be reformed if an opportunity for repentance is afforded.

Trajan to Pliny

You observed proper procedure, my dear Pliny, in sifting the cases of those who had been denounced to you as Christians. For it is not possible to lay down any general rule to serve as a kind of fixed standard. They are not to be sought out; if they are denounced and proved guilty, they are to be punished, with this reservation, that whoever denies that he is a Christian and really proves it — that is, by worshiping our gods — even though he was under suspicion in the past, shall obtain pardon through repentance. But anonymously posted accusations ought to have no place in any prosecution. For this is both a dangerous kind of precedent and out of keeping with the spirit of our age.

In its widest sense, the phrase union with Christ refers to the relationship between the believer and Jesus Christ. In this sense, John Murray says, union with Christ is "the central truth of the whole doctrine of salvation."[1] The expression "in Christ" (en Christo, en kyrio, en Christo Iesou, en auto etc.) occurs 216 times in the Pauline letters and 26 times in the Johannine literature.[2] Hence, according to Albert Schweitzer, "This 'being-in-Christ' is the prime enigma of the Pauline teaching: once grasped it gives the clue to the whole."[3] Given the large number of occurrences and the wide range of contexts, the phrase embodies a breadth of meaning.[4] (For example; Paul uses the phrase "en Christo" as a synonym for a Christian (Romans 16:7) and the phrase "en emoi" to describe the intimate identification of Christ with the believer (Galatians 2:20).)

According to the narrower sense of the phrase, used in Christian theology, union with Christ is a step in the ordo salutis ("order of salvation"), and the basis of the believer's justification.[5] In this sense, union with Christ follows faith and precedes adoption (Galatians 3:26-27). Augustus Strong describes it in this way: "union with Christ logically precedes both regeneration and justification; and yet, chronologically, the moment of our union with Christ is also the moment when we are regenerated and justified."[6]

Augustus H. Strong positively describes the nature of the believer's union with Christ with five adjectives.[27] This union is:

  1. An organic union – in which believers become members of Christ and enjoy a mutual, reciprocal dependence on Christ for life and He on them for expression (Eph. 5:29–30).
  2. A vital union – in which Christ operates within believers as their life and becomes the dominating principle within them (Gal. 2:20; Col. 3:3–4).
  3. A spiritual union – that is, a union originating from and sustained by the Holy Spirit in their spirit (Rom. 8:9-10; Eph 3:16–17).
  4. An indissoluble union – that is, a union which, by virtue of Christ's eternal, divine, and incorruptible power and grace, can never be dissolved (Matt. 28:20; Rom. 8:39; Heb. 7:16).
  5. An inscrutable union – that is, a divine and mystical union of knowledge-surpassing intimacy and value (Eph. 3:19; 5:32; Col. 1:27).

WHY IS THE HOLY SPIRIT CALLED, “THE SPIRIT OF JESUS CHRIST” AND, THE “SPIRIT OF JESUS?”

The Identity of the Holy Spirit – Question 16

The Holy Spirit is called by a number of different titles. They include the “Spirit of Jesus Christ” and the “Spirit of Jesus.”

When Paul wrote to the Philippians he referred to the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

For I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance (Philippians 1:19 NRSV).
In the Book of Acts we read of the Spirit of Jesus.

And after they came to Mysia, they were trying to go into Bithynia, and the Spirit of Jesus did not permit them (Acts 16:7 NASB).
The Apostle Paul, when he wrote to the Galatians, called Him, “the Spirit of His Son.”

And because you Gentiles have become his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, and now you can call God your dear Father (Galatians 4:6 NLT).
The Spirit of God is the Spirit of His Son.

Is There a Distinction between Them?

Does this mean they are the same Person and there is no distinction between them? Why do we find the Holy Spirit called the Spirit of Jesus Christ, the Spirit of Jesus, and the Spirit of His Son?

The best answer seems to be the nature of the ministry of the Holy Spirit – Jesus sent the Holy Spirit and His job is to speak about Jesus. From Scripture we learn the following.

1. Jesus Sent the Holy Spirit

In a very real sense Jesus was the one who was the giver of the Holy Spirit. After Jesus came back from the dead, but before He ascended into heaven, He said the following to His disciples.

And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven (Luke 24:49 NLT).
Jesus said that “He” will send the Holy Spirit.

In the Gospel of John, we read about the risen Christ breathing on His disciples and telling them to “receive the Holy Spirit.” Scripture says.

Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit” (John 20:22 CEV).
On the Day of Pentecost, the Apostle Peter explained the source of the power they had experienced.

Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear (Acts 2:33 NKJV).
The Holy Spirit was sent by Jesus Christ and is under the authority of Jesus.

2. The Holy Spirit Speaks Only of Jesus

Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would be given to speak about Him. On the night of His betrayal, He said the following to His disciples.

However, the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything. He will remind you of everything that I have ever told you (John 14:26 God’s Word).
The Spirit of God, whom the Father will send in the name of the Son, will remind the believers of everything which Jesus taught. On that same night, Jesus again said that the Spirit would testify of Him. He said.

I will send you the Spirit who comes from the Father and shows what is true. The Spirit will help you and will tell you about me. Then you will also tell others about me, because you have been with me from the beginning (John 15:26-27 CEV).
The Spirit will teach these disciples the truths about Jesus.

Jesus then made these concluding remarks.

I have a lot more to tell you, but that would be too much for you now. When the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into the full truth. He won’t speak on his own. He will speak what he hears and will tell you about things to come (John 16:12, 13 God’s Word).
According to Jesus, the Holy Spirit has come to glorify Jesus.

3. The Holy Spirit Glorifies Jesus Christ

The Holy Spirit now lives inside each believer in Jesus Christ. His ministry is to glorify Christ. Jesus said.

The Spirit will bring glory to me by taking my message and telling it to you. Everything that the Father has is mine. That is why I have said that the Spirit takes my message and tells it to you. (John 16:14, 15 CEV).
His job is not to speak of Himself but rather of Jesus.

4. There Is a Close Relationship between Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit

In fact, their relationship is so close that the Bible says both the Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ, live in the believer. Paul wrote.

But you are not in the flesh; you are in the Spirit, since the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness (Romans 8:9, 10 NRSV).
Jesus, as well as the Spirit of God, dwells inside each believer.

Paul wrote that we have died to sin but are alive to Christ since Christ lives in us. He put it this way to the Galatians.

I have died, but Christ lives in me. And I now live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me. I don’t turn my back on God’s undeserved kindness. If we can be acceptable to God by obeying the Law, it was useless for Christ to die (Galatians 2:20, 21 CEV).
Both the Son and the Spirit live in the believer.

5. The Holy Spirit Reveals Jesus in Another Way

For the disciples, the coming of the Holy Spirit was like having Jesus with them in a new and meaningful way. When Jesus was with them they felt courage to do anything. Indeed, we read of Thomas giving the following words to the disciples.

Thomas, whose nickname was “Twin,” said to the other disciples, “Come on. Let’s go, so we can die with him” (John 11:16 CEV).
There was boldness with these men when they were in the presence of Jesus.

On the other hand, when Jesus was taken away from them, these same men became fearful of the crowds. The Bible says.

Then everyone deserted him and fled (Mark 14:50 TNIV).
Therefore, when Jesus was absent from them their behavior changed.

Indeed, after Jesus’ death the disciples went into hiding. The Bible says.

In the evening of that first day of the week, the disciples were [gathered together] with the doors locked because of their fear of the Jews. Then Jesus came, stood among them, and said to them, “Peace to you!” (John 20:19 HCSB).
On Easter Sunday, these disciples of Jesus were hiding when He appeared to them.

When they realized Jesus had risen they were again courageous. The Bible records what occurred in this manner.

After eight days His disciples were indoors again, and Thomas was with them. Even though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them. He said, “Peace to you!” Then He said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and observe My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Don’t be an unbeliever, but a believer.” Thomas responded to Him, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:26-28 HCSB).
The presence of God, whether through the person of Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit, gives strength to believers.

6. The Holy Spirit Came down in a Unique Way on the Day of Pentecost

When the Day of Pentecost arrived, and the Holy Spirit came down on the disciples in a new and unique way, the presence of Christ was with them all the more.

Although the visible presence of the risen Christ was no longer with the disciples, the Spirit of Christ was with them always.

CONCLUSION: THE TITLES EMPHASIZE THE HOLY SPIRIT DOES THE WORK OF JESUS

Therefore the title “Spirit of Jesus Christ,” “Spirit of Christ,” or “Spirit of His Son” emphasizes the fact that the Holy Spirit was sent by Jesus. The Holy Spirit is not the same Person as Jesus Christ but rather He came to do Jesus’ work. In that sense He is the Spirit of Jesus.

Summary – Question 16
Why Is the Holy Spirit Called, “the Spirit of Jesus Christ” and “the Spirit of Jesus?”

The Bible makes a distinction between Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. They are, in fact, distinct Persons. Yet the Holy Spirit is sometimes called the Spirit of Jesus or the Spirit of Christ. This particular designation of the Holy Spirit has caused some people to assume that He and Jesus Christ are the same person. Yet, this is not the case.
The reason as to why the Holy Spirit is called the “Spirit of Jesus Christ,” the “Spirit of Jesus,” and the “Spirit of His Son” because He was sent by Jesus to remind the world of what Jesus did – not because they are the same Person.
For the disciples, the Holy Spirit was like having Jesus with them in a new and meaningful way. While the visible presence of Jesus Christ is no longer in the world, He is with believers in the Person of the Holy Spirit. This is the likely reason the Holy Spirit is known as the Spirit of Jesus of the Spirit of Christ.

Based on what though? I showed you that Greek doesnt define House as religion. There's not one word about not being chosen anymore or being cut off.

SO what you have said continues to be your opinion.
2+2 = 4--the Israelite religious leaders, head of the Israelite religion rejected their own Messiah and sent Gods son to his death--They are cut off unless they do verse 39, as 70 ce clearly shows God was not with them nor any who listened to them. To this day reject Jesus.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-2
Easy-to-Read Version

2 Brothers and sisters, we have something to say about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We want to talk to you about that time when we will meet together with him. 2 Don’t let yourselves be easily upset or worried if you hear that the day of the Lord has already come.

Both verses are the same on going Sentence and the Grammar is the same. NWT has day of Jehovah. Lord Jesus Christ both have the same Greek Word for Lord and Jehovah, Kuryos. If one translates one as Jehovah, the context and Grammar dictates that Both must be translated Jehovah. Thus, we have the Jehovah Jesus Christ.

Life in the Spirit

8 So now anyone who is in Christ Jesus is not judged guilty. 2 That is because in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit that brings life made you[a] free. It made you free from the law that brings sin and death. 3 The law was without power because it was made weak by our sinful selves. But God did what the law could not do: He sent his own Son to earth with the same human life that everyone else uses for sin. God sent him to be an offering to pay for sin. So God used a human life to destroy sin. 4 He did this so that we could be right just as the law said we must be. Now we don’t live following our sinful selves. We live following the Spirit.
5 People who live following their sinful selves think only about what they want. But those who live following the Spirit are thinking about what the Spirit wants them to do. 6 If your thinking is controlled by your sinful self, there is spiritual death. But if your thinking is controlled by the Spirit, there is life and peace. 7 Why is this true? Because anyone whose thinking is controlled by their sinful self is against God. They refuse to obey God’s law. And really they are not able to obey it. 8 Those who are ruled by their sinful selves cannot please God.
9 But you are not ruled by your sinful selves. You are ruled by the Spirit, if that Spirit of God really lives in you. But whoever does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Christ. 10 Your body will always be dead because of sin. But if Christ is in you, then the Spirit gives you life, because Christ made you right with God. 11 God raised Jesus from death. And if God’s Spirit lives in you, he will also give life to your bodies that die. Yes, God is the one who raised Christ from death, and he will raise you to life through his Spirit living in you.
12 So, my brothers and sisters, we must not be ruled by our sinful selves. We must not live the way our sinful selves want. 13 If you use your lives to do what your sinful selves want, you will die spiritually. But if you use the Spirit’s help to stop doing the wrong things you do with your body, you will have true life.
14 The true children of God are those who let God’s Spirit lead them. 15 The Spirit that we received is not a spirit that makes us slaves again and causes us to fear. The Spirit that we have makes us God’s chosen children. And with that Spirit we cry out, “ Abba,] Father.” 16 And the Spirit himself speaks to our spirits and makes us sure that we are God’s children. 17 If we are God’s childn, we will get the blessings God has for his people. He will give us all that he has given Christ. But we must suffer like Christ suffered. Then we will be able to share his glory.

We Will Have Glory in the Future

18 We have sufferings now, but these are nothing compared to the great glory that will be given to us. 19 Everything that God made is waiting with excitement for the time when he will show the world who his children are. The whole world wants very much for that to happen. 20 Everything God made was allowed to become like something that cannot fulfill its purpose. That was not its choice, but God made it happen with this hope in view: 21 That the creation would be made free from ruin—that everything God made would have the same freedom and glory that belong to God’s children.
22 We know that everything God made has been waiting until now in pain like a woman ready to give birth to a child. 23 Not only the world, but we also have been waiting with pain inside us. We have the Spirit as the first part of God’s promise. So we are waiting for God to finish making us his own children. I mean we are waiting for our bodies to be made free. 24 We were saved to have this hope. If we can see what we are waiting for, that is not really hope. People don’t hope for something they already have. 25 But we are hoping for something we don’t have yet, and we are waiting for it patiently.
26 Also, the Spirit helps us. We are very weak, but the Spirit helps us with our weakness. We don’t know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit himself speaks to God for us. He begs God for us, speaking to him with feelings too deep for words. 27 God already knows our deepest thoughts. And he understands what the Spirit is saying, because the Spirit speaks for his people in the way that agrees with what God wants.
28 We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. These are the people God chose, because that was his plan. 29 God knew them before he made the world. And he decided that they would be like his Son. Then Jesus would be the firstborn of many brothers and sisters. 30 God planned for them to be like his Son. He chose them and made them right with him. And after he made them right, he gave them his glory.

God’s Love in Christ Jesus

31 So what should we say about this? If God is for us, no one can stand against us. And God is with us. 32 He even let his own Son suffer for us. God gave his Son for all of us. So now with Jesus, God will surely give us all things. 33 Who can accuse the people God has chosen? No one! God is the one who makes them right. 34 Who can say that God’s people are guilty? No one! Christ Jesus died for us, but that is not all. He was also raised from death. And now he is at God’s right side, speaking to him for us. 35 Can anything separate us from Christ’s love? Can trouble or problems or persecution separate us from his love? If we have no food or clothes or face danger or even death, will that separate us from his love? 36 As the Scriptures say,
“For you we are in danger of death all the time.
People think we are worth no more than sheep to be killed.”
37 But in all these troubles we have complete victory through God, who has shown his love for us. 38-39 Yes, I am sure that nothing can separate us from God’s love—not death, life, angels, or ruling spirits. I am sure that nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us or nothing below us—nothing in the whole created world—will ever be able to separate us from the love God has shown us in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Jesus= The one who sent him= Father is THE ONLY TRUE GOD-John 17:3
Paul--There is one God to all= the Father.
Trinity teachers, The Father, son and holy spirit are the true God

See they do not match. One side is teaching lies, its not Jesus and Paul who are.
If you do Bowman's Biblical Outline you will see you are completely wrong.

Nice dodge friend. Fact is Col 2:9 even in your Bible, Proves Jesus is God, He has the complete divine, G_d Nature inside him.

Only by your religion twisting the reality of it.
Jehovah isn't translated Kurios-Wicked men put that in the altered translations by satans will. To mislead ones like you who refuse to support Gods will over satans will on the matter of his name in his bible over 7000 places where he wants it. Only the false religions supporting satans will on that matter use the altered translations. All using them are being mislead.

He did promise to come, but he has never named the date. Meanwhile we are to be ready for his coming at any time and to look for it joyfully. But we are to leave that to the Father and push on the campaign for world conquest. This program includes making disciples or learners (μαθητευσατε) such as they were themselves. That means evangelism in the fullest sense and not merely revival meetings. Baptism in (εις, not into) the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, in the name of the Trinity. Objection is raised to this language in the mouth of Jesus as too theological and as not a genuine part of the Gospel of Matthew for the same reason. See Matthew 11:27 (NAS)
27 "All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son determines to reveal Him.

But it is all to no purpose. There is a chapter devoted to this subject in my The Christ of the Logia in which the genuineness of these words is proven. The name of Jesus is the essential part of it as is shown in the Acts. Trine immersion is not taught as the Greek Church holds and practices, baptism in the name of the Father, then of the Son, then of the Holy Spirit. The use of name (ονομα) here is a common one in the Septuagint and the papyri for power or authority. For the use of εις with ονομα in the sense here employed, not meaning into, see Matthew 10:41 (NAS)
