And again, I'm not your dear and if OSAS was true, the Lord would have not put warnings about falling away in His Word.

The false OSAS doctrine has been debunked... you'll find out eventually. See ya!
You have no standing on speaking Gods truth...therefore when I see your false teachings I will stand on God’s word and challenge you my dear.

Your understanding of being Born Again of imperishable seed...is OSAS...therefore is false....show me where any of my posts have said OSAS.....that is your own understanding of what it means to be Born Again, therefore your knowledge of Gods word regarding Born Again....is void of Gods truth...now please prove Gods word wrong?

A Born Again has been Born Again of imperishable seed..you say it means OSAS?

Now you show me where Gods word says OSAS there?

I’m standing on the word of God and I have the full armour of God on.

A Born Again does not continue to sin because we have been Born Again of Gods seed.....you say it means OSAS....show me where Gods word says OSAS?...you cannot add to Gods word....it’s your lack of understanding that your adding and trust me I’ve done the same, so you’re not alone...I have been very confused understanding the word of God and it’s the enemy that caused my confusion.

Now you prove Gods word is void of truth?

Prove that what I post is void of Gods word.

I don’t post what I believe the word of God to be saying.....I post HIS word that speaks to His Born Again children, who have been Born Again of “ HIS” imperishable seed.....when you can prove that I’m a lying preacher, get back to me.

What does the Bible say about spiritual blindness?

1. John 14:17-20 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

2. 1 Corinthians 2:14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

3. 1 Corinthians 1:18-19 The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God. As the Scriptures say, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and discard the intelligence of the intelligent.”

4. Matthew 15:14 so ignore them. They are blind guides leading the blind, and if one blind person guides another, they will both fall into a ditch.”

5. 1 John 2:11 But anyone who hates another brother or sister is still living and walking in darkness. Such a person does not know the way to go, having been blinded by the darkness.

6. Zephaniah 1:17 “Because you have sinned against the Lord, I will make you grope around like the blind. Your blood will be poured into the dust, and your bodies will lie rotting on the ground.”

7. 1 Corinthians 1:23 but we preach about a crucified Christ, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles.

I am trying to help you understand God’s word.....don’t you think I haven’t been where you have been?

The enemy wants you to be confused ,he does not want any of us to come to Gods truth...

From reading your posts you’re in confusion over what Born Again means.....until you understand Born Again of imperishable seed, how can you know God’s truth?

You’re just going round and round on this Merry go round of untruths...on the true meaning of Born Again, imo.

I’m not in the kitchen at the moment as I believe the Lord is trying to get through to your heart....in truly understanding his word...

As for calling you my dear...I will cease calling it to you as I can see it upsets you.

How about..Lovey?....hehehe..LOL only joking...have a nice day or sleep.....God Loves You.and God Bless.

Commentary.

I knew that I was a sinner. Romans 3:23 says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (ESV).

I also knew that I had been saved by grace. Ephesians 2:8 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith” (ESV). Salvation was a gift I didn’t deserve and certainly couldn’t to earn.

The problem came when folks stuck parts of those two verses together to make a brand new one…one that wasn’t in the Bible.

Here’s what the Bible does say and hold on to your hats because it’s a game changer.

Yes, before you and I came to know Jesus as Savior, our identity was…a sinner. That’s who we were. We didn’t become sinners the first time we did something wrong, we were born that way (Romans 5:19).

After you and I became Christians, we became a new creation. Paul wrote: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV). And with that transformation came a new identity—a saint.

When Paul wrote his letters to the various churches in the New Testament, he never addressed them “to sinners at Philippi,” or “to the sinners at Ephesus.” He always addressed believers as saints. For example:

“Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are at Ephesus and who are faithful in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 1:1). “To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling,” (1 Corinthians 1:2).

Saint doesn’t mean perfect, not by a long shot. Saints means set apart for holy use.

After we are born again, as Jesus calls it, God never looks at us and thinks, there goes that sinner saved by grace, bless her heart. Rather, He looks at us and calls us saints… redeemed and set apart.

My words.
A Born Again has been set apart for Gods purpose and his plan.....a Born Again.....lives for God. Lives to please God, lives to worship God, lives daily getting closer to God, ......self died when we became Born Again of imperishable seed.

That was the old nature.all about self, worshipping idols, putting others on a pedestal, etc, etc.

Our new nature is in Christ.....Praise God.....

A New Nature

The apostle Paul teaches that we are a new creature in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17), which has affected our nature, the very core of our inner being. Paul says, "You were formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light" (Eph. 5:8). He doesn’t say we were in darkness, he says we were darkness. We “were by nature children of wrath” (Eph. 2:3). “Formerly, when you did not know God, you were enslaved to those that by nature are not gods” (Gal. 4:8). The apostle is referring to demons, idols, and people who we put on a pedestal. We are now “partakers of the divine nature” (2 Pet. 1:4), and bondservants of Christ.

Wrong.

(ESV)Rom 5:19 For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous.

If the many who were made sinners were everyone who has ever been born, then the many who were made righteous must be everyone who has ever been born. If the many who were made sinners were made so at birth, then the many who were made righteous must have been made so at birth. That must be the case because there is no legitimate reason to change the meaning of "many" mid-sentence.

That same argument holds true for the "all men" stated in verse 18;

(ESV)Rom 5:18 Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.

Therefore just as Adam's sin made everyone sinners at birth, then so also Jesus' obedience made everyone righteous at birth. The result of Adam's sin would have been Original Sin; however, the result of Jesus' death on the cross was Original Grace. Original Grace overrode Original Sin. We weren't made sinners at birth. We were made righteous at birth. We became sinners the first time we sinned.

We were born righteous. We became unrighteous when we sinned. We became righteous again when we were born again. That is why it is called being born again. We were generated righteous at birth. We became unrighteous when we sinned. We became righteous again when we were regenerated. That is why it is called REgeneration.

We inherited Adam and Eves sin...

Adam trespass led to sin and yes his trespass led to our condemnation...therefore we inherited Adam condemnation...Gods wrath on all those after Adam?

We are made righteous by the second Adam...Jesus...through becoming Born Again?

Do you actually understand that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus @JBO ....I can post scripture for you if you like?

When we were under the law we are condemned ....a Born Again isn’t under the law...they are under grace?

Romans 5:18

New International Version
Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.

New Living Translation
Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone.

English Standard Version
Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.

Berean Standard Bible
So then, just as one trespass brought condemnation for all men, so also one act of righteousness brought justification and life for all men

We were born righteous at birth by the second Adam. But then we sinned and became unrighteous. And those who believe and are baptized are made righteous again by being born again.

We would have inherited the sin of Adam had it not been for the righteousness of Jesus. So instead we inherited the righteousness of Jesus.

We are Born Again therefore righteous before God.

We did inherit the sin of Adam as Gods word says..we receive the righteousness of Christ when we become Born Again...a Born Again is clothed in the righteousness of Christ.

When Jesus gave himself for you, he clothed you in Righteousness! You are dressed in the finest of robes! Don't put on your rags again! Let him dress you and fill you with this promise, for he truly is gracious and compassionate, abounding in love and faithfulness.

I think we are understanding it differently.....which is fine....God brings us to an understanding that we understand from him......

As long as it’s scriptural.....

Romans 5:18-19 (actually Romans 5:12-10) is not talking about being born again. It is talking about being born into this world, the original birth. Paul follows that discussion then in Romans 6: 1-14 about being born again. There he calls it walking in newness of life. Newness of life is being born again.

Newness of life is being born again.
Is it...show me where God says...newness of life is being Born Again?

I believe newness of life/ new nature comes when we have been Born Again of Gods seed?

That’s when we walk in our new nature, as we have been Born Again of imperishable seed.

Rom 6:4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.
Rom 6:6 We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.
Rom 6:7 For one who has died has been set free from sin.

Rom 6:8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.

How can you walk in newness of life ...if we aren’t Born Again?

Our old nature died when we become Born Again....we are now in the righteousness of Christ?

Do you understand what Born Again of imperishable seed means?
