You have a human nature with free will...are you being serious?
Would you suggest we do not have free will, or what are you saying that would make more sense to you?

The only obedience necessary to save someone is the obedience of Christ. By His obedience alone many shall be made righteous/saved Rom 5:19
Matt 7:22-23 proves you in error. That is judgement scenario. And Jesus clearly teaches-FEW will find the road that leads off into life( be saved)--Jesus obedience opened the door to all men. FEW enter through the narrow gate. The only obedience necessary to save someone is the obedience of Christ. By His obedience alone many shall be made righteous/saved Rom 5:19
Please explain freewill as a Born Again?Would you suggest we do not have free will, or what are you saying that would make more sense to you?
lets see yours..
you would not even discuss hers.. did it scare you?
I believe in his gospel
I do not make him a respector as persons. You do that.
you need to look inside. and get off your calvinistic drama filled gospel
How do you decide to obey on your own @MatthewG ?There are literal, figurative and spiritual lessons through the bible. You gotta figure that out. You wont be able to obey everything Jesus daid, the most important is to believe on him (which is knowing about God) the one whom was sent (knowing about Jesus), and either seeking to know them more to build spirituality from a child to an adult.
Child of God to a Son or Daughter.
Or not.
So you decide to obey jesus and love your neighbor and pray for your enemy? Does what Paul or any other apostle in there letters teach you to not be harsh to the rich or the poor?
Faith produces obedience. By our obedience we walk on the way, step by step. God has given the Holy Spirit to those who obey Him. (Acts 5:32.) Only by this Spirit do we receive light and power to walk on the way of lifeMy opinion is yes, its good to obey Jesus if he is gonna be your Lord. Its good to seek out God in faith and he will bless you mainly spiritually.

@MatthewG ....once again you have proved, you are dismissing the word of God ,that I have posted, ..that’s on you, I delivered God’s word to you, I can’t do any more than that....you have chosen to disobey his word by saying, it’s your decision to obey him.Ritajanice,
You make a decision.
Can I ask if you are someone who is new to Christendom?
Thank you for your question,
Matthew

You are trolling....you are not discussing the word of God.@Ritajanice,
Man, you are a strange person, but you make your own decision to do and say what you want towards me. I love you anyway.
All the best,
Matthew
@Ritajanice
No judgement here. ( going to walk away and place you on ignore now).
All in love, and good faith, may you continue to grow and learn.
Matthew
@MatthewG ..I have been trying to help you...poking and prodding?.....@Ritajanice,
Do you believe we have freewill? You can cast all kinds of judgements towards me, I was answering a question you asked me, then I asked you a question and it seems that you had got upset.
Why?
Why did you have to start poking and proding towards me?
Does that make you 'feel' good, as though you done the 'right' thing?
Is that not also part of the flesh?
All the best, in Christ,
Matthew
@MatthewG ...I am not a teacher..God has not called me to be a teacher..I’m the same as you...I was only trying to help you understand God’s word.@Ritajanice,
You just wanna teach dont you.
That is good, I support you if you wanna teach, that is really good.
All love to you, please be encouraged to make your own thread, maybe in devotions or something, people will come by and read, and may find encouragement in what you have to share with them.
Anyway, I apologize for calling you a strange person, you are not strange, you just go about communication in a strange way.
But to the question, I had to make a choice to either obey Christ and what he said relying on him by walking in faith, and walking by the spirit. Which causes good things (By the spirit of Christ with-in) to come about rather than being a hard person on someone, just cause someone doesn't like what one may say.
Love to you,
Matthew

I posted scripture...you decided to dismiss it..those who are truly Born Again...will be obedient to the word of God.But to the question, I had to make a choice to either obey Christ and what he said relying on him by walking in faith, and walking by the spirit.
