The Romans executed Jesus, for their own reasons.

Rebellion against the prophets - including Jesus, the prophet like Moses - is due to unbelief in what the prophets said. It’s an authority issue. It’s an obedience issue.

Romans killed Jesus, not Jews. Jews killed the prophets because they couldn't stand to hear what they said.
