That doesn't make sense. You're telling me the church will be in heaven 7 years before the wrath while most say the wrath is 7 years.
Most are wrong. Tribulation is NOT the wrath of God.
The tribulation is OVER at the sixth seal as proven in the following verses.
Matthew 24
29
Immediately after the tribulation of those days
shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Revelation 6
12 And I beheld when he had
opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17
For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
The wrath of God begins after the 7th seal is opened. Jesus returns at the 6th seal for a harvest.
The coming of Jesus in Mattherw 24, is the coming of Jesus at the 6th seal, is the coming of Jesus in Revelation 14
Revelation 14
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud,
and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, a
nd cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
Jesus returns in Matthew 24, Revelation 6, and Revelation 14. It is the same coming when Jesus sends His angels to gather the elect from heaven and earth. Jesus remains in the clouds. All are returning for the marriage supper. Then at the end of wrath Jesus will return with the armies of heaven
That is 14 years total. Where is that in scripture?
It's not 14 years. The 70th week is 7 years long. Part is the tribulation and part is wrath.
What is the justification for being removed years before wrath? Scripture says those who are alive and remain until the coming of the son. And you said in post #280, The coming of Jesus for the gathering from heaven and earth happens at the 6th seal.
There are many comings of Jesus beginning first with the dead in Chirst rising. The barley harvest. Christ will return for the alive that remain in the wheat harvest. The barley and wheat together is the grain harvest.. This happens before the seals are opened.
Then Jesus comes for the 144,000 first fruits of the second harvest which is the fruit harvest. That is the coming of Jesus for the gathering from heaven and earth at the 6th seal. If the first fruits are pumpkins, you know the harvest is pumpkins. Since the 144,000 are the seed of the woman, the twelve tribes across the earth, you know the harvest is the 12 tribes across the earth.
How are we in heaven in ch. 4 and 5 if he doesn't come till the 6th seal to gather us? Your words, not mine.
Jesus comes for the Church before the seals are opened. Jesus comes for the seed of the woman, the twelve tribes across the earth at the 6th seal. Only the nation of Israel, those that have fled to the place of protection and unbelievers will be on earth during the wrath of God.
Doesnt the resurrection, which precedes the rapture, happen on the last day? Not 7 years and not 14 years before the last day
Everything in order. First fruits, then they that are Christs at His coming.
Christ is the first fruits of those that sleep. When He returns the dead in Christ rise first. That would be the dead of the Church. Then Christ will return for the alive believers that remain. He will bring the dead with Him and the alive will meet them in the air. This is the grain harvest that will happen before the seals are opened.
Then we have 144,000 first fruits which are redeemed from the earth.
Revelation 14
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but
the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
First fruits means there will be a harvest. Christ comes at the 6th seal. They that are Christ's at His coming are the seed of the woman, Israel as that is who the dragon goes after when it cannot get to the woman Israel.
Revelation 12
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
