No one here has implied that their reconciliation too The Father wasn’t through the flesh of Christ. You keep assigning this label too every one here that won’t lift you up in praise @Jim B has tried to tell you at length, and also @Episkopos, but you just won’t hear.
epi does not believe in justification through penal substitution. If you think he does. you have not been listening very well

Thats not what paul says in 1 cor 3.. it is a judgment
It's a question of what will survive into the next age. If one is granted eternal life, and a place in that age to come, then Jesus and the apostles ask us to evaluate the relative value of what we own now as opposed to then, and what we do now as opposed to then. We should place a higher value on what will survive into the next age; and a lesser value on what will burn up with this world. We should place a lesser value on actions that have temporal significance; and we should place a higher value on actions that have eternal significance.

Paul illustrates this with a contrast between combustible items and noncombustible items in the presence of fire. When God destroys this transitory existence, some things will remain, while other things will perish. "Strengthen the things that remain", Jesus says.

HE follows me around constantly barking at any reminders of correction about certain sins . And i do READ his responses .
So yeah . I mean i can only know what he himself is saying to me . You either havent read all of his responses to me
or you have and just cannot see what is going on . But know this , and do be encouraged by it ,
I am gonna continue to correct all error , any leaven , expose what is evil and when i know one is false , them too .
And ps , let me go ahead and leave the two names i often leave . Pope francis , and oprah whimprhey
are wolves in sheeps clothing . I do wish they would repent , as i desire life for all . But till they do they get exposed for what they are
And ps , they AINT ALONE either . MANY have arisen . But i do have to head to work
plus there is no way my fingers and wrists could write so many names in such a short time .
THEY all over places . OH heres a few key ones . Kenneth copeland , paula white , benny hinn ,
emergent church theology , social all inclusive gospel theology . Many more but i just dont have the time
and have to head into work .
Sometimes you just have to ask yourself "What would Oprah do? (WWOD)

Penal substitution. Now that’s one heck of a thing for me to wrap my head around. In the epistles they crucified the flesh with the affections and the lusts, Jesus also saying take up your cross and follow me. It kinda sounds too me as if they took a whipping as well.

We know epi denies the gospel , the bodily Resurrection,Ascension and 2nd Coming of Christ. I'm not sure if @Jim B does but maybe he will answer the question if he believes Jesus is still a man in heaven now with a real glorified human body.

Lol. You really haven’t seen the Father.
Jesus said the following about the Father. So did the Apostles- no one has seen the Father period except Jesus.

John 1:18
No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known.

John 5:37

And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form,

John 6:46
No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father.

Colossians 1:15
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

1 Timothy 1:17
17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Timothy 6:13-16
I charge you 14 to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 which God will bring about in his own time — God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.

1 John 4:12
12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

Jesus said the following about God the Father !

John 1:18
No one has ever seen God,
but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known.

hope this helps !!!

It's the way that seemeth right to man but leads to death. It's the broad way that leads to destruction. It's self-righteous, selective and fickle human fleshly emotional love.
I gotta ask you a personal question now and you don’t have too answer.

Did your father love you as a child?

The whipping they took did not pay for their sins. The penalty of sin is not to get whipped and crucify our flesh

That’s what Jesus did on the cross. The lamb of Represented the sacrifices in the law that was required for the atonement of sin on the day of atonement the blood “covered’ the sin of the people as it was sprinkled on the ark.

We can crucify our flesh and suffer every day. If our sin debt is not paid we are still dead in our sin.

No one has seen the Father as Jesus and the Apostles stated but that doesn't mean people did not see the Son who is God in the Old Testament. Hence my screen name- Christophany- the appearance of Christ ( the Son ) in the O.T.

John 18:20-21 KJV
[20] Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. [21] Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.

Do you see anything in this scripture, possibly hidden in plain sight?

Well, I believed that the law was given by Moses.

But Grace and truth came by Jesus?

[17] For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. [18] No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
