Acts 7:42-44 KJV
[42] Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness? [43] Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon. [44] Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

He never commanded sacrifice and offerings, that was learned from the Egyptians.

Absolutely which I bring out in the paper I wrote in the link.
Stephen even went on further to say God was never in their temple.

Acts 7:48-50 KJV
[48] Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, [49] Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? [50] Hath not my hand made all these things?
In your opinion would God have encouraged all those resources to build a building he never intended to inhabit?

The name “Nicolaitans” is derived from the Greek word nikolaos, a compound of the words nikosand laos. The word nikos is the Greek word that means to conquer or to subdue. The word laos is the Greek word for the people. It is also where we get the word laity. When these two words are compounded into one, they form the name Nicolas, which literally means one who conquers and subdues the people. It seems to suggest that the Nicolaitans were somehow conquering and subduing the people.

From a spiritual perspective, the formal setting of an institutional church is contrived/artificial.

If you take away the restraints that the religious system imposes on people, you find that many in the church feel they no longer need to "act" Christian (proving that they are carnal by nature)....AND...proving just how contrived/artificial the system is that produced them.

If you take away the outward restraints from nonspiritual people they will tend to cast away the inner restraints that keep their carnal nature in check.
The devil then uses such people against the Spirit, and against those who would be guided by the Spirit...thus grieving the Spirit and quenching the Spirit.

Such people NEED to remain in the religious system...as they are of no use in an informal setting (like this forum)....but only a hindrance to those who are progressing in Christ as individuals.

Not all churches has ever been true churches. Many of the churches we see allowing sin into the church today and saying sin is not sin are churches that were losing people, because they were dead churches.

What makes a person a part of the body (church) of Christ is that they are born again, the wage of sin is removed, allowing God to regenerate their dead soul (inner man as some call it) and make it alive in christ. Then and only then will a person change from the inside, As God works on their character and starts to sanctify them in the spirit. As they mature from “babes” in christ to growing in Christ. Always running that race and working out the salvation they have received.

Any church or any group that says God will grow and have a relationship with a person who is still under thew wage of sin (dead) is not a true church Or group. The spirit of God is not in them. They are still dead in sin, and need to repent and look to the Cross. So they can recieve the gift of Salvation. Where Jesus promises they will never perish but have eternal life

Jesus tells us how that is done.. As the children of Israel had to trust God and look up to the serpent in order to be saved (salvation was available to all. They just had to look in faith and they would not die, refusal to believe prevented their salvation. And the suffered the end result. Which was death. So too. We have to look up to Christ on the cross. And our eternal souls will be saved also. Jesus paid it all. He took the wage of sin on our behalf so we could be saved. Salvation is there for everyone. But we have to humble ourselves enough to look up. Refusing to do so in Pride. We will suffer the end result of our fatal disease. And die the second death.

For us it is like a treasure hunt.every day
As long as we're submitted to God in our treasure hunting. And that our heart motives are pure. Otherwise our table can turn into a snare. Hence the need to give God the fear that is due Him in all that we do. It's HIS truth after all....HOLY!.....and not our plaything to entertain ourselves with, to satisfy our fleshly curiosity, or to feed our vanity and puff us up, etc. Handling His Ark with hands of flesh can be dangerous. The devil is not fooling around....at every stage of growing in the Lord the roaring lion seeks who he may devour so there are pitfalls to avoid, or climb out of should we fall into one.......we need a healthy (mature) sense of not being cavalier.

Can't help but observe, the inability of some folks to see themselves is sometimes just astounding. I suspect that the ability to discern others correctly is to some extent tied to our ability to first discern ourselves. Hence the need to remove the plank from our own eyes before trying to deal with the splinters in others.

Luke 10:18-19 KJV
[18] And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. [19] Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Deuteronomy 32:32-33 KJV
[32] For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter: [33] Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.

Revelation 11:8 KJV
[8] And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

I suggest what Moses was give in the wilderness was a type of shadow of things to come.

Yes,,,, God has shown me that this magical box you are speaking of that was guarded that couldn’t be touched is something that was thoroughly handled in the first century.

God never entered their stone buildings as the prophet said.
