This is why you need to abide in Christ in order to have life (1 John 5:12).

What you taught is exactly how it does not work.
The born again do not have eternal life because of abiding, or confessing, or enduring, or trying to be like Christ.
They possess it because the Holy One who is IN THEM, is eternal life.
The born again are in spiritual union with eternal life, by being "in Christ" and "One with God".

For the person who says they know the Lord and they don’t keep His commandments, they are a liar and the truth is not in them (1 John 2:4).

Everytime you confessed your sin, you had stopped keeping a commandment to commit the sin.
So, your own deeds define you.
You should think before you post the next one.

Only one sin keeps a person out of the KOG.

1.) Christ Rejection.

You die having never been born again (Christ Rejection) and you are judged DAMNED.
Eternal Damnation is not based on your behavior on earth, its ONLY based on this. John 3:36

Again, you ignore context. John 3:20 says,
“For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.”

Here again your contradictions keep piling up.

You say the born again do not have eternal life because of abiding and then you turn around and say that very thing by saying that the born again have spiritual union with eternal life by being in Christ. To be in spiritual union with Christ who is eternal life is abiding in Christ. Jesus says abide in me, and abide in my words. Being born again does not mean one cannot die spiritually. We see this in the parable of the prodigal son. When the prodigal son came home from living it up with prostitutes and sought forgiveness with his father, his father said that he was dead, and he is alive AGAIN. He was lost, and he is found (See: Luke 15:24, and Luke 15:32). This of course is speaking in spiritual terms because the prodigal son did not die physically. Also, this same truth is expressed in James 5:19-20.

“For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.”

The context of your verse is....>"lest his deeds should be reproved".

This can be a believer.
This can be an unbeliever.

IN the case of the Believer, its a guilty conscience and a strong feeling of condemnation.
This is what drives the baby christians to confess their sin, as they are trying to get relief from that stinging conscience.

The mature believer, just sighs, and thanks God for the righteousness they have become. They glorify God who sent Jesus to the Cross to become their sin.

In the case of a unbeliever........they are hiding from the Light of Truth, that has revealed them, and does reveal them as depraved lovers of sin.

The sad case of most unbelievers is that they believe that God is angry with them.
The Gospel being shared with them, allows them to see God in a NEW LIGHT....The Light of love and reconciliation.

Also, confessing of sin is tied to salvation because Proverbs 28:13 says he that confesses and forsakes sin shall have mercy. 1 John 1:9 says if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. There is nowhere in the Bible where it teaches that the forgiveness of sins in relation to God is not dealing with salvation. In fact, repent is just another way of saying to seek forgiveness with the Lord, and we do know by Scripture that repentance is for salvation.

I have not posted any contradictions.

Its interesting that you can't even correctly explain what ive shown you...

So, let me show you again... = the reason the born again have eternal life, is not because they DO ANYTHING.
See it?
Its because "Christ IN YOU< your hope of Glory".
See that?
That is Christ, who is eternal life, being in Spiritual Union with the born again spirit of a Believer.
And because of this eternal spiritual union with GOD, John says...."that you may KNOW that you have eternal life".

You have twisted the Scriptures beyond all imagining to come up with this kind of false interpretation to justify sin under God’s grace. Nowhere does the context support your viewpoint here (and you know it). This junk is not going to fly when you have to explain your belief to the Lord Jesus Christ come judgment day, friend. This is what your not getting. You may be able to fool others, but your not going to fool the Lord because these extra biblical Protestant sayings of yours are not in the Bible.

No. What I see is you justifying sin and evil under God’s grace. There is no hope of glory or Christ in you if you disobey God’s commandments. You are still under the condemnation of John 3:20 in not coming to the light because of your false view on sin and salvation. God cannot agree with your sin, friend. He never will.

I never justify sin. Ive never justified it in a post to you, or in the 250+ Thread's i written on this forum.
So, you are just "talking" circular nonsense.

Here is the reality... My Thread that discusses the sinning Christian, teaches that not being able to stop sinning, is related to a faith issue.
And, i taught on that Thread, exactly what Paul teaches will happen to a believer, who has left faith, returned to the love of the flesh, and wont repent.
They will "die".

Sure you have.
You basically said sinning Christians will be saved and or taken home to be with God early.
That’s a sin and still be saved type belief!

But you make it sound like a born again believer who abides in God cannot turn back to the vomit of his old life and be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin and depart from the living God. You make it sound like a believer cannot be empowered by God by following His instructions (Which would not be true). Again, ceasing from sin involves suffering and that is not something that is forced upon you. You have to choose to suffer. Then there is Galatians 5:16. Walk after the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Again, you have to choose to walk after the Spirit. Yes, God can work in you to do that, but it’s not a guarantee because if it was, then Paul would have never said what he did in Galatians 5:16.

God tells us in Hebrews 12 that if we are His children, He will chasten us, which is to train as one trains a child. And He tells us His training will be effective. Do you see that being somehow incorrect?

Much love!

Psalms 27:1 is in view of not fearing anyone but God.
There are plenty of verses that talk about the fear of God or the fear of the Lord being a good thing. But in the OSAS or Belief Alone-ism camp, they do not think fear is fear (When it just so happens to be talking about the fear of God).

I agree we are to fear actually be afraid of the Lord! Jesus himself who affirmed this by saying do NOT fear the one who can kill the body ONLY but rather FEAR the one who can kill your whole being in eternity !

The Fear of the Lord is the BEGINNING of wisdom! Only the fool says in his heart there is no God for he has NO fear. Fear is healthy as someone said in another thread it activates our FLIGHT or FIGHT instinct God put in us. Have courage To fear [ yeah an oxymoron or just leave the ox in his stall ] lol

I have heard well is doesn't really mean be afraid, BALDERDASH! Some say it means respect yeah well...... Those I fear or the things I fear ( ain't met a man yet I am afraid of), like snakes, spiders, fast coming cars, a bridge out, ect ect I respect also and step out of the way
of !

That is one BELIEF, If you sin and keep it up God will kill you and take you to heaven. A stupid lie from the father of lies satan. There is no light in that to be deceived so how can any believe this.

SIN WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN NOR GOD !!!!!!!
