“Baptists” have NEVER rejected baptism … we sort of make a pretty big deal about it. A big enough deal that Paedobaptists have historically DROWN baptists for insisting on baptizing adults that make a profession of faith.

What we have rejected is the folly that God cannot save unless a man helps by sprinkling magic water.

it’s a covenant not a Bible study

A sacrament is an outward sign for all men including infants And a gift from God to help us see what he does inwardly and invisibly by his grace!

As grace Washes our souls in the merits of Jesus blood from original and personal sin, so the outward action of washing is visible!

without the outward action the inward action cannot take place!

Jn 3:5 Titus 3:5 water and washing
acts 22:16 wash away your sin!

Jn 3:5 Born again BY water and the spirit! Not by “faith alone”!

They did not go to Jerusalem and preach “accept Christ as you’re personal Lord and savior “

They went to the river (water) and they baptized! Jn 3:22

A covenant requires an outward sign of the inward action of grace!

Ez 36:25 I will sprinkle you with clean water and you shall be made white as snow.

Acts 22:16 washing away your sins.

Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

1 pet 3:21 baptism saves you.

Baptism!

God breathed life into Adam, gen 2:7 and we received this life from our fathers!

Christ breathed on the apostles our spiritual fathers, we receive the new covenant life of God’s grace from them thru faith & baptism! Jn 20:21-23 Mk 16:16 acts 8:36-38 eph 2

Born again! Born from above!

'The Father has set his seal' on Christ (John 6:27) and also seals us in him (cf. 2 Corinthians 1:22; Ephesians 1:23, 4:30). Because this seal indicates the indelible effect of the anointing with the Holy Spirit in the sacrament of Baptism,

Baptism indeed is the seal of eternal life." 87 The faithful Christian who I has "kept the seal" until the end, remaining faithful to the demands of his Baptism, will be able to depart this life "marked with the sign of faith," 88 with his baptismal faith, in expectation of the blessed vision of God - the consummation of faith - and in the hope of resurrection.

St. Paul tells the faithful at Ephesus that they have been “sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.” This is in terms of an indelible character imprinted on the soul in the sacraments of baptism and confirmation. It is not as if this invisible mark is simply decorative. Rather, through it, we are enabled to participate in Christ’s mission and in his offices of priest, prophet, and king. Eph 1:13

Sealed by God eph 1:13 sealed by God (ez 36:25-27) in the ark of salvation by baptism just as Noah was sealed by God in the ark of the flood gen 7:16

1 Pet 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!
(Ark of Noah a type of the church, member of Christ and his church and salvation by baptism!)
(Outside the ark of Noah none were saved, outside the church (the ark of salvation) none are saved!)

Sealed in the ark, sealed in the church the ark of salvation by God thru baptism!

Effects of faith & baptism!

Ez 36:25-27 washed in baptism, with a new heart and the Spirit
Jn 3:5 born again in baptism
Mk 16:16 faith & baptism
Acts 2:38 repentance & baptism
Acts 8:36-38 faith & baptism
Acts 22:16 baptism washes away sin
Rom 6:3 died with Christ
Col 2:12 risen with Christ
1 cor 12:13 baptized into the church
Gal 3:27 by baptism put on Christ
2 Tim 1:10 brought to life
2 cor 5:17 new creation
Eph 1:13 sealed by the Holy Spirit
Eph 2:1&5 brought to life in baptism
Eph 4:5 one baptism
Eph 5:26 faith and baptism
Titus 3:5 baptismal regeneration
1 pet 1:2 washed in Christ’s blood
1 pet 2:9 and not the kingdom of light
1 pet 3:20-21 baptism saves us!

“Faith alone” accomplishes nothing!
1 cor 13:2 even all faith (alone) without charity avails NOTHING!!!

Faith and baptism!

Scripture says none of the things about “Faith alone”!

“Faith alone”

Questions

where does scripture says we have died with Christ by “faith alone”?

Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

where does scripture say we are members of Christ and his church by “faith alone”?

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

where does scripture says we put on Christ by “faith alone”?

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Where does scripture say our sins are washed away by “faith alone”?

Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

where does scripture say we are saved or justified by “faith alone”?

1 pet 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!

The only reference in scripture to “faith alone” is James 2:24 NOT BY “FAITH ALONE”?

2 pet 1: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

How can you enter by your own if it must be ministered to you? Baptism is done unto you, “not do it yourself by faith alone”

Jn 3:5 born again by faith alone?

Where is “Accept Christ as your personal lord & savior” is not found in scripture?

They did not go preaching this line but went immediately to the river and baptized Jn 3:22

Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Eph 4:5 one baptism

Why don’t it say one teeny tiny little act of “faith alone”???

When we first believed we are saved?

Romans 13:11
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

How can salvation be nearer than when we first believed if you’re saved by believing?

If salvation is by “faith alone” then faith would be the greatest!
1 cor 13:13 charity is the greatest!

Even all faith much less “faith alone” without charity avails nothing!
1 cor 13:2

OSAS is based on a promise. God does not reneg on His promises. Salavation is a gift, unearned. It is not taken away. Since God knows all, He doesn't give you something and then change His mind and take it back. He wouldn't give someone a gift in the first place knowing later they might do something later (like change their mind, turn away from and reject Jesus), and therefore violate and forfeit His gift/promise.

>>>Noone nor anything can separate us from the love of God - not even us.<<<

" I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39

He is the Author of our faith! What does that mean? That our faith is ordained, designed, orchestrated and finished by Him.

All He asks of us is to receive the gift and believe it. Believe in Jesus, that He died for our sins _ and rose from the dead on the third day _ according to the scriptures _ and you will be saved. Believe and live or disbelieve and die in your sins. It is that simple, cut and dry.
He is Author and finisher of our faith and nothing and nobody can alter that.
Be careful though, because if you live by the Law, you we also be judged by it.
We live under His Grace and are saved by Grace not works. Once we are saved, then any works that He has prepared for us to do will be done. The story is already written, and man cannot mess it up. He factors all our blunders into His plan and so it will be fulfilled exactly how He planned it - otherwise prophesy could never pan out true if man could alter God's plan.

OSAS is based on a promise. God does not reneg on His promises

“And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.” (Jeremiah 18:9-10)

“After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise. I the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.” (Numbers 14:34-35)

It’s sad that people don’t believe this truth:

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin” (1 John 3:9)

That is not your body or your mind.
Your body is "dead because of sin" and your mind is not born again, and needs to be "renewed".

So, the part of you that "doth not commit sin"..

What is left?

Jesus said.."you MUST be born again"

= Its your born again Spirit, that is "in Christ".... that does not commit sin.

“Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.” (Genesis 6:9)

“the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.” (Genesis 17:1)

“Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.” (Deuteronomy 18:13)

“There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.” (Job 1:1)

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48)

I see your Bible is missing the rest of 1 John. More of 1 John for you:

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

“Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.” (1 John 3:6)

“For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 2:16)

If you have the mind of Christ, no unsavory thought should spend more than a few seconds in your brain before you squash it!

“He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” (1 John 2:6)

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” (John 14:12)

I agree with most of your post but this " sinless perfection, which btw is NOT in any word of God,is so grounded in you that you refuse truth.
If you will look I give the context scriptures to the side, NO my bible is missing NOTHING.
We must be led of the Spirit when we study, if not then we have these misnomers.

Do a study on "SINLESS" AND "PERFECTION"

All God's promises are conditional, from the garden of Eden to Revelation. Many have failed, from Adam and Eve to ancient Israel to King Saul, etc.

Faith is a gift. Ephesians 2:8
Salvation is a process.

Eternal life is not temporary life.
Jesus is the door. He is not a revolving door.
Eternal resurrection life is given to many who will be rejected after being resurrected.
Matthew 7:23

Jesus is the gate, but He can still reject those who enter in and fail to obey and follow through.

Resurrection is free. Being accepted after that is earned through obedience and commitment of all your heart, all your mind and all your strength.

These continued to live in inquity after receiving resurrection life.

it’s a covenant not a Bible study
It is an adoption … a ONE-SIDED covenant between a corpse and The Great I AM.

Studying the Bible is how we learn about what HE has done (as contrasted with the ever evolving mythology of Rome - “co-redemptrix” anyone?)

Warnings and even threats are not empty and for our benifit to heed them. In the same way, we warn our children of punishment and delay promises to keep them in line.
God never breaks a promise, He might delay it as He did with the Israelites. But I think temporal promises "The land, milk and honey" are subjective. The promise of salvation is eternal, spiritual and goes out to all.

Ephesians 1: 13-14 "In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory."
2 Peter 3: “The Lord is not slack concerning His promises."
Paul said, “He is God, who cannot lie."
In Hebrews 10:23, “He is faithful that promised.”

In Romans 4:21, the Bible says, “What He has promised He is able also to perform."

Actually, that's not at all what Jesus meant by never 'Knowing' them.

Know in Scripture has a unique definition. It means to enter into someone in the sense of intercourse physically, or to be inspirited by a spirit in the spiritual sense. Just as Adam knew Eve Genesis 4:1 and Mary had never been with a man, saying "I know not a man" Luke 1:34 KJV. There are many other examples of this truth which shows us that Jesus is not just speaking of knowing the people in Matthew 7:23 as we understand knowing. He is speaking of having never entered, or made His abode with, them. John 14:23

We receive faith as a gift. Ephesians 2:8

Then we can receive resurrection/eternal life through the reading (hearing) of God's Word (mixed with said faith). All of this is explained in John 6, culminating with Jesus' statement in John 6:63 and Peter's confirmation in John 6:68.

Then Jesus tells us what must be in place, what one must be doing, in order for the Holy Spirit to enter (to know) them and to make His abode, His home, with them in John 14:21-23.

If we are living in iniquity, like the people in Matthew 7:23, we are not obeying the Commandments; and the Spirit will never 'know' us. He will never enter into us and make His home with us and thus we will not then continue to become like Him and we will not be accepted into heaven.

So, yes, it is possible for people to have resurrection life within them and not be accepted by Jesus.

All laid out with Scripture, ... point-by-point.

Your 2 Timothy 2:19 verse states that those who are known of Christ must depart from iniquity (unrighteousness).

Notice, it doesn't say that He will make iniquity impossible for them.

Actually, that's not at all what Jesus meant by never 'Knowing' them.
That's exactly what Jesus meant. In context, Jesus is discussing false prophets and is contrasting a good tree that brings forth good fruit with a bad tree that brings forth bad fruit. (Matthew 7:15-23)

John 14:23
Jesus never knew these people, never entered or made His abode with them and you still think they were saved? o_O Just as in John 17:3, we read - John 17:3 - And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent, which is an intimate, experiential knowledge, found in a relationship and not merely theoretical knowledge. These many people were not true converts.

We receive faith as a gift. Ephesians 2:8
We receive salvation as a gift through faith. Ephesians 2:8 - For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God. (AMPC)

Then we can receive resurrection/eternal life through the reading (hearing) of God's Word (mixed with said faith). All of this is explained in John 6, culminating with Jesus' statement in John 6:63 and Peter's confirmation in John 6:68.
In John chapter 6, we see that many of Jesus' disciples complained and were offended (verses 60-61) about what Jesus said in verses 51-59. These are the very so called "disciples" who Jesus says "do not believe." For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. (John 6:64) They also walked with Him no more. So apparently, these alleged disciples of Jesus set out to be learners and followers of Him (based on their own misconceptions and expectations) but as soon as Jesus said something that was hard for them to understand and did not line up with their expectations, they left Him. True disciples of the Master continue.

In John 8:31, Jesus said - "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine." Those who do not continue in His word demonstrate that they are not truly disciples of Jesus. Temporarily setting out to be a learner and follower of Christ, but then permanently turning away later when the going gets tough or your expectations are not met, demonstrates that you were not truly His disciple, as with Judas Iscariot who was an unbelieving, unclean devil who betrayed Jesus. (John 6:64-71; 13:10-11)

Then Jesus tells us what must be in place, what one must be doing, in order for the Holy Spirit to enter (to know) them and to make His abode, His home, with them in John 14:21-23.
The Holy Spirit enters the moment we believe in Christ unto salvation. (Acts 11:17; 15:8,9; Ephesians 1:13) In John 14:21-23 we find the demonstrative evidence of those who love the Lord. John 14:21 The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.] 22 Judas, not Iscariot, asked Him, Lord, how is it that You will reveal Yourself [make Yourself real] to us and not to the world? 23 Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him. Believers do not keep His commands in order to receive the Holy Spirit but because they have received the Holy Spirit.

If we are living in iniquity, like the people in Matthew 7:23, we are not obeying the Commandments; and the Spirit will never 'know' us. He will never enter into us and make His home with us and thus we will not then continue to become like Him and we will not be accepted into heaven.
This is descriptive of unbelievers and not those who are born of God. 1 John 2:3 - Now by this we know that we know Him, (already know Him/already saved/demonstrative evidence/descriptive of believers) if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (descriptive of unbelievers)

So, yes, it is possible for people to have resurrection life within them and not be accepted by Jesus.
Absolutely false.

All laid out with Scripture, ... point-by-point.
Your eisegesis was laid out.

Studying the Bible is how we learn about what HE has done (as contrasted with the ever evolving mythology of Rome - “co-redemptrix” anyone?)

a covenant is a communion of saints sharing in the life of God thru grace, being taught by God not read the Bible for yourself and make you’re diy religion!
