1 John 3:9
Doeth no sin (hamartian ou poiei). Linear present active indicative as in 1Jn_3:4 like hamartanei in 1Jn_3:8. The child of God does not have the habit of sin.
His seed (sperma autou). God’s seed, “the divine principle of life” (Vincent). Cf. John 1.
And he cannot sin (kai ou dunatai hamartanein).
This is a wrong translation, for this English naturally means “and he cannot commit sin” as if it were kai ou dunatai hamartein or hamartēsai (second aorist or first aorist active infinitive).
The present active infinitive hamartanein can only mean “and he cannot go on sinning,” as is true of hamartanei in 1Jn_3:8 and hamartanōn in 1Jn_3:6.
For the aorist subjunctive to commit a sin see hamartēte and hamartēi in 1Jn_2:1. A great deal of false theology has grown out of a misunderstanding of the tense of hamartanein here. Paul has precisely John’s idea in Rom_6:1 epimenōmen tēi hamartiāi (shall we continue in sin, present active linear subjunctive) in contrast with hamartēsōmen in Rom_6:15 (shall we commit a sin, first aorist active subjunctive).

1Jn_4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Beloved (agapētoi). Three times in this chapter (1Jn_4:1, 1Jn_4:7, 1Jn_4:11) we have this tender address on love.
Believe not every spirit (mē panti pneumati pisteuete).
“Stop believing,” as some were clearly carried away by the spirits of error rampant among them, both Docetic and Cerinthian Gnostics. Credulity means gullibility and some believers fall easy victims to the latest fads in spiritualistic humbuggery.
Prove the spirits (dokimazete ta pneumata). Put them to the acid test of truth as the metallurgist does his metals. If it stands the test like a coin, it is acceptable (dokimos, 2Co_10:18), otherwise it is rejected (adokimos, 1Co_9:27; 2Co_13:5-7).
Many false prophets (polloi pseudoprophētai). Jesus had warned people against them (Mat_7:15), even when they as false Christs work portents (Mat_24:11, Mat_24:24; Mar_13:22). It is an old story (Luk_6:26) and recurs again and again (Act_13:6; Rev_16:13; Rev_19:20; Rev_20:10) along with false teachers (2Pe_2:1).
Are gone out (exelēluthasin). Perfect active indicative of exerchomai. Cf. aorist in 1Jn_2:19. They are abroad always.
Some here may be sincere but have certain doctrines wrong, does not mean they are "false"

Does the cat have his tongue? Why can't Michiah-Imla give you and I a straight forward YES or NO answer to this straight forward question? I have run across half a dozen or so others over the years on various Christian forum sites who have claimed to live a sinless life 100% of the time after their alleged conversions.

Yes indeed they can. 1 John 2:1 - My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
They can't answer my brother because they are strict KJV-Onlyists and I concur with you on the "alleged conversions" since we are dealing with many denominations, Inter-denominations, Ultra Orthodox, not so ultra orthodox, cults and so forth, calling a spade a spade.
You are doing a sterling work for the cause of Christ Jesus here.
Last time I checked, there are over 6,000 denominations and this include Non-Denominations.
Wonder where is the ekklesia of Christ?
You and I are both witnesses as to the various answers to various topics.

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin - This passage must either mean that they who are born of God, that is, who are true Christians, do not sin habitually and characteristically, or that everyone who is a true Christian is absolutely perfect, and never commits any sin. If it can be used as referring to the doctrine of absolute perfection at all, it proves, not that Christians may be perfect, or that a “portion” of them are, but that all are.
But who can maintain this? Who can believe that John meant to affirm this? Nothing can be clearer than that the passage has not this meaning, and that John did not teach a doctrine so contrary to the current strain of the Scriptures, and to fact; and if he did not teach this, then in this whole passage he refers to those who are habitually and characteristically righteous.

"whosoever".......this is talking about the BORN AGAIN Spirit.
So, its the born again Spirit that "doth not commit sin".....as the born again spirit, is "IN CHRIST", and "ONE WITH GOD".

Where are the born again located?

A.) = This Spirit , that is the real person.. born again..that is redeemed, having become "IN Christ, "a new Creation", "One with God".
This is the real you, if you are born again., and that is where the redeemed are located for eternity.
The Born again are Not a body or your mind........and that is why Paul told you to "reckon it dead"......as that is the old man......not the "new Creation".
So, notice.
The born again Spirit, which is the REAL YOU, if you are born again is : " Seated in Heavenly places, IN. Christ".
And you are this, if you are born again..
"As Jesus IS.....so are the born again.......in this World"..
So, that is the "sinless" state of the Born again.
Your body and how you think, is irrelevant to that regard, because its your SPIRIT, that is become a Son of God.
And remember, "God is A Spirit"< and the Sons/Daughters of God, are born again SPIRITUALLY, into God's Spirit, by the Holy Spirit.
= This is the REAL Son of God. Not the body, or the Mind.....but the Born again Spirit.
And where the born again exist, is in the KOG......... "translated from Darkness, TO LIGHT".
The born again are "Children of THE Light"......not their body down here, doing whatever it does., or their mind that is always under assault and often double minded or in some type of unbelief or faith crisis or deception.
When we SEE, by revelation that the REAL US, as born again, = is not our body and mind, then we are seeing the "new Creation" in Christ, perfectly, that is always "seated in Heavenly places". "In Christ".
To be "heavenly minded" is not to be thinking about "God stuff",..... but its to have the REVELATION of who you have BECOME, as a born again , new creation, "in Christ".

Even Jesus said, Why do you call me geed. No one is good but God.To walk as Jesus walked is what we ought to do/strive to do (Jesus walked in love) yet this still does not support sinless perfection of the flesh. Are you implying the greater works in John 14:12 is sinless perfection?Do you attend a church that teaches we can reach entire sanctification in our lifetime while still on earth in the flesh? From what I have observed, the KJV only crowd sounds cultish and the end result of that movement seems to promote self righteousness.
Sadly. The people he asked this question to did not understand what he attempted to show to them. Many people here do not understand it either.
There is only one perfect. All good. All righteous man who walked this earth. His title was the son of man, or son of God.
When, if, we think we have arrived at sinless perfection. We put a road block up to God. We in effect are telling him we have made it. And we prevent him from the opportunity to grow us in this life. We basically tell him we do not need him, or his grace anymore. We have earned his love by our righteousness.
Its sad that we have people who actually believe this lie
