Keiw,

That is fallacious reasoning of a Red Herring logical fallacy. We haven't discussed the pros and cons of the Trinity but you declare it one of "many false gods today."

Why don't you start another thread where we can discuss the doctrine of the Trinity - with a scriptural foundation?

Oz

No need i believe Jesus over dogmas and errors--John 20:17, Rev 3:12

Look, going around calling folks "heretic" is a cheap RCC trick of the dark ages.

The louder you scream at "Luther", the redder your face gets and your blood pressure get's out of sight...LOL.

Just chat, argue and have fun.

I dont argue. i share fact. How many of you see this-Daniel 11:40-45?

OF COURSE!! A "Faith"/Denomination/religious movement/whatever in the Visible church systems can, and DO define all sorts of "Doctrines" that they bind their congregations to.

Some of the "doctrines" have Biblical foundations, and are true in the absolute, and some doctrines are PURE GARBAGE, and don't mean SPIT. if one doesn't KNOW what the Bible says in context, then they're ripe for religious deception.
LOL
Bob, let us know how you really feel!
:)

I agree with you.
But...
Is the Trinity a deception?

What we KNOW (Biblically) is that: there is God (YHVH), there is a "Holy Spirit", and there is a "Word" (who was with God, and who WAS GOD) who was begotten in Mary, and became flesh. Jesus specifically names all three (Mat 28:19), and we see them in individual action at Mat 3:16

Are the "Doctrines" about the "Trinity" Deceptive?? I'd say that at best they are IGNORANT ATTEMPTS at defining the undefinable.

Beyond that, I'll ask later (if I even have to, when I KNOW even as I am known - 1 Cor 13:12).

Agreed. It's undefinable.
I think we shouldn't overstep what we can know of it.

A nd maybe we won't have to ask, maybe we'll just know,,,! 1 cor

@GodsGrace I reckon we can rest in the glorious fact that God in Three Persons is clearly revealed in Scripture - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - especially in the NT.
I rest in Jesus for everything.
Peace and strength can be found in our faith and in Him.

Some persons take the Trinity and use it to show that Jesus cannot be God and even to mock our understanding of it, however deep or simple it may be.

I try to explain it to help those that need it, or those that are willing to accept it.

Do I sound upset maybe?
Hope not.

Jesus followers listen to his voice-John 10:27)- John 20:17, Rev 3:12 ) as God told all to do--This is my son the beloved in whom i am well pleased-LISTEN TO HIM. Thus the teachers he appoints( Matt 24:45) and is with teach exactly what he teaches.

Maybe I don't get your point?

Jesus IS the Son of God...which makes Him God.

You are the son of a human...which makes you human.

@GodsGrace I think John 1.14 - 'the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us' and which speaks of 'His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth' - is a very clear testimony to both the Lord Jesus' humanity and deity.

You don't have to define the Trinity. You simply have to believe that it the truth about the Godhead (Matthew 28:19). So if you cannot believe that verse (or 1 John 5:7) then you do have a problem with unbelief.

Oh, it's the scriptural genius again! What a blessing to us all!

I have a post for you, Pitiful. Since you don't have the guts or the decency to do anything but insult people's posts and then run off like a little coward, I have no choice but to bring the post to you.

Come discuss it, you little coward. You had the guts the start the fight, but you never have any to finish one. Isn't that right, you little Wimp?

Good morning my loved brother in the Lord

Why such strong language?
This is why politics are not welcomed on some sites. Just too emotional.

Blessings to you.

Absolutely...the hyperstatic union.
This also took some working out...just as the Trinity did.
When I tell persons Jesus was 100% human and 100% God they correct me and say, "no, 50% and 50%".

Well, no, it's 100% and 100%.

No son is their father. He is Gods image-Collosians 1:15--It is God doing all of it through him-Acts 2:22,, 1Cor 8:5-6--Jesus said he can do 0 of his own-John 5:30

Jesus, born of the Holy Spirit in Mary's womb, is MARY'S Son in the flesh, and fully God in the Spirit.

Jesus is the Son, not the Father, you're right.
But He has the nature of the Father, just like You have the nature of Your father ,, human.
Why is this so difficult to understand?

While the Son, the 2nd Person of the Trinity was on earth, He could do nothing on His own.

I forget who you think Jesus is.

Jesus told Peter that God Father had revealed who Jesus was to Peter. Was Jesus lying?
