The words Second Resurrection do not exist.

You are right if you are looking for these words literally recorded in the scripture, but the storyline tells us that the rest in the dead are resurrected after Satan is thrown into the lake of fire to be judged at that time. The first resurrection occurred just over a 1,000 years earlier.

And reign on the earth, too:

Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
There won't be any earth after Jesus returns on the last day.

You are adhering to a doctrine that was made up entirely from 7 verses in Rev. 20 that are not meant to be taken literally. If you want to take them literally, then they are contradicted by so many chapters and verses within Revelation itself that you have a real mess on your hands.

That doctrine is not backed by any other books of scripture whatsoever and its own book denies it in many ways.

1,000 years upon the physical earth after Jesus' return has been diminished to a flat-out lie that has been made a trendy belief system based on no solid scripture whatsoever. It is so fully denied by scripture that it's an insult to anybody who embraces it. It shows them to be completely ignorant of God's Word or bold-faced liars.

Sorry to say.

Incorrect.

When Jesus returns to Mount Olive with all the saints in Zechariah 14 and destroys the armies attacking Jerusalem, He remains there, and the heathen nations come up into the city to worship, and will for a thousand years afterward, called the millennium - all of which is outlined in Zechariah 14.

When Satan is released, he deceives the nation’s and assembles an army that surrounds Jerusalem p, and fire comes down from heaven and destroys them, and at that point in time the earth is burned up, and a new heaven and earth appears in Revelation 21.

BTW the SDA is wrong in claiming there’s no one on earth but Satan for a thousand years during the millennium - where did Ellen White think the armies that Satan assembles to surround Jerusalem at the end of the thousand years, comes from? Mars?

The answer is they are the heathen nations found in Zechariah 14:16 til the end of that chapter.

To align the scriptures you have listed, does not negate the event in Revelation 20:1-6. In fact it confirms that Jesus will do this at the end of the great tribulation of making a new heaven and a new earth for His thousand year reign..
There can't be a New Heaven and New Earth in your imagined Post-Second-Advent Millennial reign. Your own doctrine doesn't allow for it.

Revelation 21:1 introduces them. That's long after Rev. 20:1-7.

See, it just doesn't work. None of it works. It's a faulty doctrine that is a total sham and leads people away from some of the most important truths of scripture.

Wrong. There is no mention of a "Millennium" in Zech. 14 and when Jesus returns in Matthew 24:29-31 and in Isaiah 13:9-11 and in 1 Thes. 4:16-17, ALL are resurrected, in the one and only resurrection per John 6:39, 40, 44, 54; 11:24; 12:48, and the sinners are destroyed as well as the earth.

Finito.

No Millennium.

The truth and prophetical scriptures are diametrically opposed to your claim of no scriptural evidence.

The millennium period isn’t a temporary reign of Jesus on earth for a thousand years, it’s the period where Satan is bound at the beginning of His eternal reign on earth that He sets up at His second coming.

The New Testament and Old Testament unequivocally prophesied Jesus’ literal unending kingdom on the earth, with Jesus ruling on the throne of David in Jerusalem:

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the THRONE of his father David:

Luk 1:33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the GOVERNMENT shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isa 9:7Of the increase of his GOVERNMENT and peace there shall be no end, upon the THRONE of David, and upon his KINGDOMS, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth evenFOREVER. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

1Ki 2:45And king Solomon shall beblessed, and the THRONE of David shall be established before the LORD FOREVER.

Jeremiah 23:5-6“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; a KING shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely; now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS”

And in Acts 2 Jesus literally ascends bodily and visibly from Mount Olive, and the angel said this same Jesus will return in like manner as you have seen Him leave - meaning His literal return bodily and visibly back to Mount Olive.

Act 1:9And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.

Act 1:10And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes,

Act 1:11and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”

Act 1:12Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey away.

That means literally and visibly returning on a CLOUD, in the air, back to Mount Olive - which occurs in Zechariah 14:4-5.

And occurs in Revelation 1:7

Rev 1:7Behold, he is coming with the CLOUDS, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

Zechariah 14:4-5 is the fulfillment of that Acts 2 angelic prophecy, when He literally returns to Mount Olive with all the saints with Him - where He then REMAINS, and the nations such as Egypt come into the gates of Jerusalem to worship Jesus, (Zechariah14:16-19) who will be literally and bodily sitting on the throne of David, forever.

This confirms His kingdom begins then:

Zec 14:9 The LORD will then be KING over all the earth. In that day the LORD will be seen as one with a single name.

In Revelation 21, The New Jerusalem which is above, descends to earth to old Jerusalem, and God and the lamb dwell in it with men forever, and Jesus says this about that city in Revelation 3:12:

Rev 3:12Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

It’s undeniable fact in scripture that there will be a unending literal and physical reign of Christ on the earth, and not just for a thousand years.

Jesus is currently sitting in heaven at the father’s right hand UNTIL the time is right to return to earth:

Psa 110:1A Psalm of David. The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand, UNTIL I make your enemies your footstool.”

Psa 110:2The LORD sends forth from Zion your mighty scepter. Rule IN THE MIDST of your enemies!

Note that Jesus will not rule His kingdom from heaven, but on the earth, in the midst of His enemies!

He will return and land on mount Olive with all His saints per Zechariah 14:4-5, given earlier, where He will rule and reign from Jerusalem on the throne of David, which is established forever:

1Ki 2:45And king Solomon shall be blessed, and the throne of David shall be established before the LORD, FOREVER.

And we shall reign and rule with Jesus in His kingdom, on the earth:

Rev 5:10And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Jesus’ kingdom will never end, per the angelic prophecy from Luke 2:

Luk 1:32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

Luk 1:33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Zephaniah also describes Jesus ruling on the earth in Jerusalem:

Zep 3:14Sing aloud, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel! Rejoice and exult with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem!

Zep 3:15The LORD has taken away the judgments against you; he has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst; you shall never again fear evil.

Zep 3:16On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: “Fear not, O Zion; let not your hands grow weak.

Zep 3:17The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

There is no reason whatsoever to deny that the thousand year reign of Jesus on the earth in Revelation 20is literal - from the OT to the NT, it is literal fact that He will return physically to earth and rule from the throne of David, on Mount Zion.

It’s ludicrous to deny that the thousand year reign of Jesus on the earth in Revelation 20is literal - from the OT to the NT, it is literal fact that He will return physically to earth and rule from the throne of David, on Mount Zion for forever - not just for a thousand years.

You are right if you are looking for these words literally recorded in the scripture, but the storyline tells us that the rest in the dead are resurrected after Satan is thrown into the lake of fire to be judged at that time. The first resurrection occurred just over a 1,000 years earlier.
There are (Two) resurrections on this (Last Day) the righteous are blessed to be in the (First Resurrection) to eternal life, on such the (Second Death) resurrection has no power.

1.) (First Resurrection) To Life
2.) (Second Death) Resurrection To Damnation

Revelation 20:6KJV
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The (Last Day) Resurrection Of All Below

John 5:28-29KJV
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth;
they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

John 6:39-40KJV
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

1 Corinthians 15:21-24KJV
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

The (Last Day) Judgement

John 12:48KJV
48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

In fact the day of the Lord occurs first in 14:1, yet the earth isn’t burned and destroyed, because He lands on Mount Olive with all the saints, destroys those attacking Jerusalem, then remains in that city.

Therefore it’s not just obvious, but ridiculously obvious, that the earth is not burned up and destroyed at His second coming, because of those nations that continue to exist after He returns to Mount Olive with all the saints, in Zechariah 14:4-5.

This so obviously is the start of His unending kingdom reign on earth, from Jerusalem, on the throne of David, prophesied in Luke, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and other passages in the Bible.

The earth isn’t destroyed until the final battle at the end of the millennium where the deceived nations of the earth are destroyed by fire from heaven - then the new earth appears.

His reign will be forever, not just a thousand years.

It all ties together very nicely, for those with ears to hear.

The millennium period isn’t a temporary reign of Jesus on earth for a thousand years, it’s the period where Satan is bound at the beginning of His eternal reign on earth that He sets up at His second coming.
Satan is "Currently" bound from "One Specific Purpose", And One Only?

"Deceive The Nations" To Battle

The Non-Literal 1,000 Years (Revelation) 20:1-6 Are Taking Place Now In The Lords Spiritual, And Will Cease At The Future Second Coming

If A Tribulation Saint Were To Die One Day Before The Second Coming, He Enters Into The Non-Literal 1,000 Year Reign

Many That Promote Millennialism Falsely Teach, Satan Cant Be Presently Bound Because Evil Exist In The World?

Satan Is Presently Bound As Is Clearly Seen In (Revelation) 20:7-8 Below That Interprets (Deceive The Nations) Is To Battle, Not General Evil In The World Presently.

Satan Is Loosed At The End Of The Tribulation When The 6th Vial Is Poured Out As Seen In (Revelation) 16:12, The Deception Is Devils In False Miracles Going Forth To The Kings Of The Earth, To Gather Them To The Final Battle

(Revelation) 20:1-9KJV
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations
which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

(Revelation) 16:12-14 & (Revelation) 20:7-8 Same Deception In Gathering The Nations To The Very Same Final Battle In "Parallel" Teachings Of The Same Event

(Revelation) 16:12-17KJV
12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

Zechariah 14 Is The (Eternal Kingdom)

Zechariah 14:1-12 below shows the Lords return to earth in fire in final judgement.

(Verse 1) shows "The Day Of The Lord" also seen in 2 Peter 3:10-13 "Fire Judgement" below

(Verse 2) Shows that all nations are gathered for the final battle of armageddon.

(Verses 3-5) shows the Lords return, and his eternal feet touch down on the earthly Mt, of Olives, and in the "Twinkling Of An Eye" 1 Cor 15:52 takes place, in the catching up, resurrection, final judgement by fire, and the New Heavens, Earth, and Jerusalem being revealed for eternity, judgement complete, eternity begins.

(Verses 6-7) Eternal light seen, in the eternal kingdom, Rev 22:1-5

(Verse 8) The river of life is seen, Rev 22:1-5

(Verse 10) The New creation is being revealed, the plain is lifted up.

(Verse 12) "The Day Of The Lord" showing the "Last Day" judgement by the Lords fire, as men are consumed as they stand on their feet, 2 Peter 3:10-13

2 Peter 3:10KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Revelation 22:1KJV
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

"The Eternal Kingdom"!

Zechariah 14:1-12KJV
14 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which
is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee
to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
6 And it shall come to pass in that day,
that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
7 but it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass,
that at evening time it shall be light.
8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
9 And the Lordshall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and
from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.
11 And
men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Zechariah 14:16 Who Will Be Left Of The Nations?

You will closely note, Zechariah 14:16 & Isaiah 4:3-4 are "Parallel" readings of the same event, as Isaiah gives a clear account of those who are left, those who are found in the book of life, the final judgement has passed, eternity has begun "After" The Day Of The Lord

You will closely note in Isaiah 4:4 below, Jerusalem will be purged by the spirit of (Judgement) & (Burning)

Zechariah 14:12KJV
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Only The Righteous Are Left, The Book Of Life "Was" Opened (Every One That Is Written Among The Living)

Zechariah 14:16KJV
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Isaiah 4:3-4KJV
3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

Revelation 21:24-27KJV
24 And
the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie:
but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Entire nations will still exist for a thousand years.

It says those left alive of the nations, such as Egypt, which is specifically mentioned, will come up unto the city to worship.

These are not the redeemed, who will live in Jerusalem, they are specifically called heathen in Zechariah.

It is the people in those nations that Satan deceives and that surround the city to attack it at the end of the millennium, and who are destroyed by fire from heaven, in that final battle.

These are the sheep nations from the judgment of the nations in Matthew 25, that occurs after His return in Matthew 25:31.

Sorry you have created a Stray man argument as I made no mention as to where Christ would be after the first resurrection of the Saints, who had lost their heads, had taken place.

My understanding is that He will be our high priest in heaven, aided and supported by the Saints who had lost their heads who will also be priests.

It seems to me that you have a few trigger words and phrases that set you off going down rabbit holes that do not exist in the other persons posts. Your response in your "rebuttal" of what I had posted is certainly an example where you create a rabbit hole in an attempt to take the discussion in the direction that you want it to go.

I think the right response is simply just to say,

Goodbye

There are many prophecies proving the literal and eternal kingdom reign of Jesus on earth, from Jerusalem, on the throne of David.

And every time anyone says the Lord’s Prayer that Jesus taught the apostles, they are praying for Gods kingdom to come ON EARTH from heaven.

Thy kingdom COME thy will be done ON EARTH, as it is in heaven.

Your claim is 100% "False"!

It's purely a warning to Egypt, with the big word "IF" The family go not up, they will be declared "Heathen" the scenario hasn't taken place, it's a simple warning, your 100% "Wrong" in claiming heathens are present in the Eternal kingdom seen

Zechariah 14:17-18KJV
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Nope. If Egypt or any nation don’t go up to worship God it won’t rain.

And those nations will be on the earth after Jesus returns, YEAR AFTER YEAR, for a thousand years, per other scriptures.

Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

That doesn’t cancel out anything I said.

Not close, and no cigar.

There's no Millennial kingdom on the earth, Ron. Scripture 100% does not support that. You are putting 7 verses in a completely symbolic, visionary, spiritual book up against all the rest of the chapters of the same book, as well as the other 65 books of scripture.

There's no competition. Every single aspect of Pre-Mill. is completely, and crystal clearly, denied by scripture outside, and inside, of Revelation.

Face it.

Land promises to Israel? Done. Completed.
Joshua 21:43-45
Joshua 23: 14-15

Jesus NOW King and turning over His rule to the Father at His return on the Last Day with ONE resurrection? Fully described in scripture? Covered.

1 Corinthians 15:22-26
John 6:39, 40, 44, 54; 11:24; 12:48

Pre-Mill. has NO LEG to stand upon. It will never happen. And it makes ZERO sense in light of the weight of scripture as a whole.

Well you say these things because you do not take Scripture as written but as allegorically retranslated! Israel is in the land as prophesied literally!
Jerusalem is in Jewish hands as prophesied literally.
Sorry there is m0ore than one resurrection! REv. 20

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

See you do not teach from teh Word of God, but the retranslated word of God according to your allegorical preachers.
