The Vatican is a city state located within the city of Rome in the country of
Italy.

A major portion of the hierarchical power and control of the Roman Catholic
Church is situated in the Vatican. It is here where the official beliefs and
practices of the Roman Catholic religion are determined. In other words:
truth for a Catholic is whatever the Vatican says is the truth; sort of like the
Party in George Orwell's novel 1984.

As an hypothetical example: if the Vatican says that 2 + 2 = 5, then for a
faithful Catholic, that's what it is, i.e. that's the truth for a Catholic. It
obviously wouldn't be the real truth but no matter; it would be the truth for
a faithful Catholic because 2 + 2 = 5 would be a Vatican doctrine.

No Christ founded the holy church on Peter and the apostles Matt 16:18 not a city state

If Jesus' mom is a disciple's mother, then every mother before her
leading up to Jesus is a disciple's mother too; beginning with Eve and
including, but not limited to: Noah's wife, Sarah, Rebecca, Leah, Tamar,
Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, and Mary's mom.

However, every real disciple is born of God rather than born of one of
Jesus' mothers (John 3:3-8 and Gal 4:26) unless of course you happen
to be in a Sense8 cluster, then I guess Mary could be your mother.

YOu nned to go back to 2nd grade and relearn how to read then. Or you are intentionally being deceptive and mishandling gods Word1

Here is the full verse!

Matthew 1:25
And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.

It says He knew her not UNTIL----UNTIL!!!!! Once jesus was born- He knew her sexually. Get over it or say you believe Gods Word lies!

Ok he knew her not!

until only make a point about what has happened to that point, says nothing about after that

2 Samuel 6:23 tells us: Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child UNTIL the day of her death.

Are we to assume that Michal had children after she died?

lk 1:34 is final
Also the teaching of the church the apostles
Matt 16:18 18:18 it’s bound on earth
Acts 2;42

It was your link and it said
The association with a Hebrew word for "fish" (as in Hebrew: דג‎, Tib. /dɔːg/) in medieval exegesis has led to an incorrect interpretation of Dagan as a "fish-god."
and
The "fish" etymology, while late and incorrect, was accepted in 19th and early 20th century scholarship. This led to the association with the "merman" motif in Assyrian and Phoenician art (e.g. Julius Wellhausen, William Robertson Smith), and with the figure of the Babylonian Oannes (Ὡάaννης) mentioned by Berossus.

Both quotes say the fish association is incorrect. Will you not believe your own link?

Moreover the second quote points to Oannes as the fish god mention by the Babylonian priest Berossus, which as I showed is Oannes not Dagon and which your quote also says

Then there is another link you gave which says this:
The image of Dagon is a debated issue. The notion that Dagon was a god whose upper body was that of a man and the lower body that of a fish has been prevalent for decades. This idea may stem from a linguistic error in translating a derivative of the Semitic 'dag.' The word 'dagan' actually means 'corn' or 'cereal'. The name 'Dagon' itself dates back to at least 2500 BCE and is most probably a derivative of a word from a dialect of the Semitic tongue. This notion that Dagon was represented in iconography and statuary as part fish in Philistia proper is not supported entirely by coins found in Phoenician and Philistine cities. In fact, there is no evidence in the archaeological record to support the theory that Dagon was thusly represented.

It seems you don't believe that link either.

For you to reads from Blue letter bible. Notice the historic references.

Wrong - Jesus didn't say that.
Besides - there is NO Biblical mandate OR type and fulfillment for those other women - other than Eve.

Eve is the "Mother of all the living" (Gen. 3:20).
Mary became the Mother of all the living in Christ (John 19:26-27).

As Irenaeus posited:
Eve, however, was disobedient; and when yet a virgin, she did not obey…. having become disobedient, was made the cause of death for herself and for the whole human race; so also Mary, betrothed to a man but nevertheless still a virgin, being obedient, was made the cause of salvation for herself and for the whole human race….
Thus, the knot of Eve’s disobedience was loosed by the obedience of Mary. What the virgin Eve had bound in unbelief, the Virgin Mary loosed through faith.(Against Heresies, 190 AD)

This is a blindingly clear example of OT Type and NT Fulfillment.

He is making her our mother
If you’re a disciple

No.
In Mark 3, Jesus is talking with a crowd.
Jesus is Given the message, your brethren (brothers) and mother (Mary) apparently at a distance, wanted to talk to Jesus.
Jesus responds Who is my mother my brethren?
Jesus then looks at the crowd around him and says ...
Behold...(LOOK) speaking of the crowd..."my mother and my brethren".

Read for yourself; what Jesus says.

Mark 3

[31] There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.
[32] And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.
[33] And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?
[34] And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
[35] For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

This is not teh biblical Mary but giving the biblical Mary attributes of an egyptian and babylonian goddess.

This thread went wrong at this point. Mary has nothing to do with other gods. Though I have no interest in worshipping Mary, I also have no interest in comparing her to any other god, which is idolatry. I do not blame Catholics for getting angry over points like this.

Well facts are facts and identical similarities are identical similarities. Anyone who call son the name of Jesus as Savior should be more concerned with the Word of God and not some folk lore that has elevated Mary faar beyond her real status.

God the Father used a holy virgin Mary to form Christ Jesus in the womb. But Christ existed before that…

“Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.” - John 17:24

I would call Mary the mother of Christ Jesus, who was used of God the Father to create Jesus in the womb, but after that I believe she would eventually have sex with Joseph and Jesus would have brothers in the flesh after that.

Mungo ~

John 1 (Gods Word eternal God)
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Isa 55: (Gods word in the thing)
[11] So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Eph 1: (God Himself)
[9] Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself;

Heb 10: (God prepares a body)
[5] Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me

John 1 (born of God)
[13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Luke 1 ( an angel speaking to Mary)
[28] And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, .... thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

Luke 1 (Mary informed)
[31] And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

Luke 1 (Mary informed)
[35] And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee , and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee:
... therefore also that holy thing
which shall be born of thee
.... shall be called the Son of God.

Luke 1 (Mary agrees)
[38] And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

Matt 1: (Joseph discovers.)
[18] Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Matt 1: (Joseph discovers.)
[21] And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Matt 1: (Joseph waits to consummate marriage)
[25] And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Gods Intent to send His Word, out of His mouth, in a body (it) God prepared, to (a thing)...
Mary was greeted by an angel.
Informed. Surprised, Informed How, Agreed. Nothing whatsoever of God being IN Her.,
Nothing whatsoever of Gods Seed.
Nothing whatsoever of her seed.
Nothing whatsoever of fertilization.
Nothing whatsoever of Mary being sinless.
Nothing whatsoever of that holy thing, (Gods Word), being called "God", called the "Son of God" then.

A voice of reason for a change
We don’t worship her either but the fundamentalist mind thinks so, why don’t they ever talk about real idolatry as it is in Hindu and pagan religions

The "my church" spoken of in Matt 16:18 is very interesting. Jesus predicted
that the gates of Hell would be unable to prevail against it.

The Greek word for "Hell" in that verse is Haides (hah'-dace) which in
Hellenistic culture was simply the afterlife, i.e. the destination of all that
are deceased, both the good deceased and the bad deceased regardless of
age, race, gender, and/or religious preference. Even Jesus went there for a
few days.

Basically Matt 16:18 is saying-- in so many words --that the sheep Jesus
spoke of in John 10:1-29 need not suffer anxiety over death because their
stay in Hades won't be as inmates in a maximum security prison from which
there is no hope of either parole or escape.

Is she blessed? And Why?

Sure she is blessed. Many people are blessed.
She is blessed among women because women deliver forth babies from their womb, knowing the pain of delivery, and knowing her delivery was of a son, sent forth from God in Heaven to her womb. Rather unique.
Not sure why men are bowing to statues of her....or even how anyone knows what she looked like to make a statue.
