I have to consider the promises of the Wrath of God coming upon the nation of Israel. That destruction would be the close to an age which would never be so great again, in my best estimation.

In the last days, God's wrath is poured out upon the anti-christ (once he comes to power) and those walking with the man of sin.... who attacks Israel after Israel makes covenant with the man of sin and right as Israel is about to be destroyed, Jesus returns to earth and saves the nation of Israel as He tosses the anti-christ and the false prophet in to the lake of fire and Jesus starts His 1000 year reign.

None of this stuff has happened yet and the preterists are all confused... they be like the OSAS peoples trying to form their opinions by looking at only a few verse while throwing the rest of God's Word in the trash.

The preterists be trippin for sho!

If ya say so. If it was my guess, there are simply people out there that desire for this world to end. The Bible suggest this world will continue onward. Anyway it’s pointless to go back and forth. Love you.

I wonder if there were any early writers that write about the destruction of Jerusalem or “ early fathers” that wrote about these notions? I can’t say really cause I don’t know.

Yeah well... Jesus isn't back yet and the preterists still cannot understand why View attachment 55715

Matthew 24:21-24
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders

The preterists will be the folks that get deceived by satan's end times fake signs, wonders, and false christ since they think the great tribulation has already passed.... they'll be first in line to get the mark of the beast andd bow do to the devil's fake christ

He came back and went a second time. You can't handle the truth.

Hello @TheLearner,

I remember checking out Eusbius in the library, could go to the local library and find some of these books there maybe? Thank you for sharing.

Why would you put trust in the "Early Fathers?"
I don't and never will. They saldy surcomb to the maky false teachers of their time and if the original Gospel was still in existence it was a minority, possibly persecuted for their beliefs.

I don’t know where people get off telling people they aren’t saved or this or that. It’s the fleshly behavior. It’s like high school bullies picking on children. It’s not a strange behavior it’s definitely from the flesh though… it’s weird, why people can’t love others, but then again I haven’t loved everyone I met in my flesh either. It’s only through the strength of Jesus whom truly gets us to the point we are able to love our enemies and pray for them. Ultimately growing us to love our neighbor as ourselves.

Doctrine is not as important as love is.

“If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬
Yes love is important. but false doctrine can send people to hell.

Jesus is love- but it is the Jesus as the bible defines Him and not how we wish to believe in Him.

Uh huh, and the devil used the reformers to introduce doctrines of demons to deceive people leading them away from the Lord thru false doctrine.
Well which doctrines are you saying are false?

They also exposed loads of false doctrine that had imprisoned believers for a millennia. No one is perfect. That is not an excuse to excuse bad teaching. But given the time they were in and how scarce bibles were, it is not a wonder they had strange ideas, especially seeing many of them escaped from Romanism.

You called Revelations a so Speculations. That is loopy.

Shows how much you know... it's the Book of Revelation, not revelations funny.gif

the Book of Revelation does not teach Jesus has already come back a second time.

If he has, can you let us know how we can find his Facebook page
or maybe share His email address so folks can send in their questions?

[Rev 3:11 NKJV] 11 "Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
[Rev 22:7, 12, 20 NKJV] 7 "Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed [is] he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book." ... 12 "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward [is] with Me, to give to every one according to his work. ... 20 He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Again, what the name of the turtle he is said to ride. Never return? 4 times he said he was coming soon. Either he is coming late or already came. So you say he is coming late.

Sadly for you.... those verses do not actually prove Jesus has already returned a second time.

You have zero proof of your claim neither does the turtle you are riding slowly on wistler2.gif

The Lord is not on the same time table as we are... He has His own!

To Him, a couple thousand years for us is only 2 days for Him.
In fact, the Lord is telling us thru the Apostle Peter to NOT be ignorant about this

2 Peter 3:8
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

So, I'll wait for your "Proof" such as a video of the Lord hanging out
at His crib.... or maybe an interview on TMZ... c'mon man, where's the proof???

But if he still returning, it proves God slow, which is impossible.

2 Peter 3:8

This verse is not supposed to prove the lord is slow; it says that he is fast. Your evidence is weak, compared to mine.
