According to Lord Jesus' Own Words, He said His Kingdom is NOT of this world, meaning this present world earth age time (John 18:36). That's very important for those of Faith in Jesus Christ to know and understand. Some brethren today still have difficulty understanding that.
In 2 Peter 3, and in other Bible Scriptures of God's Old Testament prophets, they showed how this present world earth age is preserved to be destroyed by God's consuming fire. When those Bible examples are put together in the mind, it shows that God is going to consume all of man's works off the surface of this earth, just like He did with the flood of Noah's day, except this next time using His "consuming fire" (see 2 Peter 3:10-12 and Hebrews 12:25-29). That is to occur on the LAST DAY of this present world, what God's Word calls the "day of the Lord" according to Apostles Paul and Peter. In 1 Thessalonians 5, Apostle Paul pointed to that future event as a "sudden destruction" upon the wicked and deceived.
Should we, those in Christ Jesus, then fear... that coming "consuming fire" by GOD on the last day of this present world?? NO!!!
One of the Bible examples showing those in Christ need not fear that coming consuming fire event upon this earth is written about in the days of Daniel the prophet, in the Daniel 3 Chapter.
Daniel's fellows who refused to 'bow' in worship to the gold idol image of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, were cast into a hot fiery furnace heated 7 times hotter than necessary (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego). King Nebuchadnezzar looked over into that hot fiery furnace and saw a Fourth Man Who had the appearance of The Son of God. That represents Lord Jesus Christ that were in that hot fiery furnace with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. And when they came out of that hot fiery furnace their clothes did not even smell of smoke! Yet when Nebuchadnezzar's servants just got near that fiery furnace they were burned up!
Now WHY... would God make this difference between those who worship Him (The GOD of Israel, which INCLUDES GOD The Son Jesus Christ), and those who worship other things?? That question should show you that this question answers itself, and that should be obvious. Do you want to be SAVED? Do you want to dwell in His Presence forever and love Him as He loves us? Then listen to Him, and not to man.

43 But now thus saith the LORD That created thee, O Jacob, and He That formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art Mine.
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Don't make the mistake of thinking God is speaking only... about the literal 'seed' of Israel here, as you will discover He is not if you keep reading this.
The children of Israel passed through the Red Sea; they crossed the Jordon river into the promised land, so what event above is left still yet to happen? That "when thou walkest through the fire" is still left, when God's "consuming fire" will burn man's works off the surface of this earth on the "day of The Lord" according to Apostles Paul and Peter.

That "Even every one that is called by My name" means ALL... those of Faith on The Father through His Son Jesus Christ! What might be that Name point to? The Christ, is what Name I believe it is, and thus the name CHRISTIAN which is derived from His Name!
Do you realize that many Churches today refuse to teach about this future event of God's "consuming fire" burning man's works off this earth on the last day of this present world? They are afraid of scaring you away, that you might attend some other Church, so they hold this Bible Truth back from you. They are taught to do that, the seminaries want preachers to teach only the 'milk' of God's Word, keep you sucking on the proverbial milk bottle, spiritually.
