Do you believe that the false prophet is symbolic ? Because he is the one who will enact the law that in order to buy or sell that a person must take the mark of the beast in their right hand or forehead.

Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Please don't deflect by change the subject. There are false profits all around you. They are real, just like the mark of the beast is real.

So are you giving Satan the same power as Jesus having power to raise the dead? Only God can give life
No, not at all.

God is who brings the slain man of sin back to life, in Isaiah 14:18-20, because God has great disdain for the person. And also as God's strong delusion spoken of in 2Thessalonians2:11 that rejecters of the truth should believe the lie of the man of sin's claim to have achieved God-hood.

How can one person also be 8 kings?
The beast is not 8 kings, but the eighth king.

Can people also be cast into the lake of fire alive?
In the case of the beast-king and the false prophet, yes.

People will be judged after death before being cast into the lake of fire

There will be the resurrection of the dead for the Great White Throne judgement. And those who's name are not found in the Lamb's book of life will be cast in to the lake of fire.

It’s clear that they are demons just like we read about in Daniel chapter 10
What specific verses in Daniel 10 are you referring to ?

No.

The names of both beasts are names of two individual men.

One man - the beast-king
the other man - the false prophet

The mark of the beast is the mark of the beast-king's name. Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
That's the point, you have to have wisdom to count the number of the beast. Wisdom to understand the allegorical language of Revelation and Genesis.

"The sea" is the unbelieving world (in Genesis 1 and Revelation). "The earth" is the religious world (in Genesis 1 and Revelation). "Heaven" is the firmament of the Holy Spirit (in Genesis 1 and Revelation). "The sun" is the image of the king-Messiah, "the moon" is the image of the nominal Church, "the stars" are the image of the sages and teachers of mankind. "Light" is not photons, but the Torah, the Teaching from God (in Genesis 1 and Revelation). "Waters" are tribes, languages and peoples. Etc.

You are looking for a literal correspondence. But the "beast from the sea" is not a man, but all human civilization. The Antichrist in Revelation 13 is shown as the "image of the beast".

The beast from the sea (the gentile nations) is the kingdom of the beast-king. The beast-king, a person, is the mortally wounded but healed head on the beast from the sea.

Here is a graphic I made....

The composite make up of the beast from the sea represents that the EU (the kingdom of the beast) will control the territories of the former empires - basically the EU will occupy the oil rich areas in the middle east.

Revelation 13 beast out of the sea2 small.jpg

The five stages that the person will go through are on this chart I made...

Hello,
To the first point in the OP, John wasn't allowed to name him for the same reason the 666 was. People have speculated on it for centuries. If the beast was mentioned, the name would never be used by anybody, or persons would be accused of being the beast. Just like in the book of Daniel, the angel said not to reveal the book until the end, Revelation is similar.

That is a good point. If the name of the beast were spelled out in Revelation, no-one knowing so would name their new born baby, the name of the beast, as it would vilify the person for his whole life.

It is not known at this time, however, if the name of the beast is unique to only that one person. There is one noted aspect that would narrow the field is that the person has to be a Jew.

The parents of the beast person, I don't think will be aware their child's future. Unlike Jesus, born to Mary, Mary was told of His future before He was born.

No God doesn’t raise a man back to life it’s talking about a bound beast coming out of the abyss to revive a nation from Revelation 9,11 & 17.

The beast is said to have 7 heads and 10 horns how can a man have 7 heads and 10 horns?

A man cannot come out of the abyss, revelation chapter 9 ties the beast from the abyss the destroyer directly to Genesis chapter 12.

Paul says that every person will stand before the throne before receiving what is due to us.

2 Corinthians 5
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

Read the whole chapter of Daniel chapter 10 and you will see different demonic beings over nations.

It is a symbolic beast. Similar to the third beast that Daniel saw in his dream in Daniel 7:6.

The beast is the Roman Empire. The 7 heads are seven sequential kings, each as the main leader of the Roman Empire during their time.

The ten horns are ten lesser kings of the Roman Empire in the end times that will rule with the beast-king of Revelation 17:11.

The Roman Empire has manifested itself as the EU in the end times. The EU will be the kingdom of the beast.

I agree that a man does not come out of the abyss. the bottomless pit.

It will be the disembodied spirit of the garden of eden serpent beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit to possess the end times person - who from that point forward is called "the beast" for that reason.

If you are referring to the Prince of Persia and the Prince of Greek, I agree those not referring to humans in those passages, but not as demons either. It is referring to fallen angels who rebelled against God to follow Satan.

Daniel 10:20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.

21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

demons are unclean spirits not having a physical form of their own. Their origin is unclear. One possibility is that they are the spirits of dead Nephilim.

The beast's 7 heads are never sequential. It rises with all 7 heads which are mountains not people.

The seven heads represents the seven mountains where the woman sits. Revelation 17:9

The seven heads also represent seven kings - Revelation 17:10.

They seven kings are sequential. At the time of John, five are fallen, one is, and the other is not yet come.

Revelation 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other [king 7] is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

If you go to Revelation 12, which has the 7 years in it, the 7 heads have crowns - indicating that king 7 has come to power, fulfilling the prophecy of the 7 kings..

If you then go to Revelation 13, which has 42 months left, the 7 heads no longer have crowns - indicating the king 7 has been killed, ending the prophecy of the 7 kings.. King 7 will be killed and comes back to life as King 8 the beast-king, the mortally wounded but healed head on the beast out of the sea, in Revelation 13:3

No the demons are the fallen angles
Marty,

The fallen angels have a physical form.

The demons are "unclean spirits" which have no physical form of their own. They are sometimes called "devils" Mark 3:15.

Different than the fallen angels, the demons desire to enter living beings to take up residence within. Living beings, such as, the herd of swine, that when the demons entered the swine, the swines self-destructed and ran violently over a cliff to drown in a sea, Mark 5:13.

Perhaps the swine were seeking relief from whatever suffering the demons caused in them.

demons are "unclean spirits" that seek to possess people. If you look at these verses, the unclean spirits make people sick and maybe doing violent behavior to others and self-destruction.

The last on that list of passages is Revelation 16:13.

Revelation 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

It appears that unclean spirits will dwell within the dragon (Satan), the beast-king, and the false prophet.

The seven heads represents the seven mountains where the woman sits. Revelation 17:9

The seven heads also represent seven kings - Revelation 17:10.

They seven kings are sequential.

Yet the 7 mountains are not. The woman sits, not sat, on all 7 so the mountains are not the sequential 7 kings. Other manuscripts DO NOT say the two groups are one in the same. See the KJV.

The heads are not kings and the two periods of 3.5 years are different than the one in Rev 13.

If you then go to Revelation 13, which has 42 months left, the 7 heads no longer have crowns - indicating the king 7 has been killed, ending the prophecy of the 7 kings..

No king is killed, and the crowns not being on the heads doesn't equal a death anyways. Everything in Rev 12 is BEFORE the war against Christians starts which is the 42 months.

King 7 will be killed and comes back to life as King 8 the beast-king, the mortally wounded but healed head on the beast out of the sea, in Revelation 13:3

Never is there an 8th heads `for the ten horned beast. It only ever has 7. The 8 kings are unrelated to the 7 mountains.

I would like to clarify a couple of things about the meaning of 'Antichrist'.
Before we look at the antichrist, I want to look at the real Christ. Who is He? Let us go to the scriptures to find out what and Who He claimed to be.

Matthew 12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

The temple, the priesthood, and the religious system of the Jewish nation go hand in hand. It was the mainstay and focal point of the life of Israel. Yet Jesus claimed to be greater. Greater even than the very High priest who no doubt would take great interest in hearing a report of these words. Greater even than the very law of God enshrined within. (Or at least it used to be). Only one person can be greater than any law of God, and that is the lawgiver.

38 ¶ Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

Jonah was the most powerful and successful of all OT prophets. In all 40 odd chapters of Jeremiah, there is no record of anyone at anytime taking the slightest bit of notice of anything Jeremiah said. Yet Jonah, on the strength of just one or two sermons, converted an entire city of the children of Ishmael totaling maybe 60,000 people. Nineveh. By any standards, that has got to be recorded as a very successful evangelistic campaign. Yet Jesus claimed to be greater than Jonah.

42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

Solomon was the wisest and wealthiest and most successful of any ruler of the ancient world. Yet Jesus claimed to be greater even than Solomon.

In the three startling claims as shown above, we have before us the threefold ministry of Jesus. Priest, prophet, and King.

It has been said, and I think wisely, that the Bible must be understood grammatically before it can be understood theologically. Anti- as in antichrist, according to Strong's concordance, and like other words having the prefix 'anti', means at it's most basic form "in the room of", "instead of", or "in the place of".
In other words, 'antichrist' stands as a substitute. We all know that Satan works by deception. Yet many would claim the 'antichrist' will be one who will charge in on a black horse guns blazing with fury and hatred directed at all things Christian and opposing with great force the church. Pray tell me, how will the world be deceived by such a tactic as this?
In 2 Thess. 2:1 we are told that there was to be a falling away first, which will reveal the antichrist, or as Paul describes him, the man of sin or son of perdition. Now falling away in this instance is a falling into apostasy; divorce.
Any divorce necessitates a prior favourable relationship. The only other example of a 'son of perdition' is Judas Iscariot. Did Judas openly and with force oppose Christ? Did he attack His teachings and disagree with Jesus claims to divinity? Did he argue and debate everything Jesus stood for and seek the destruction of His followers? No. Not by any means. Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss. He betrayed Him with an act of apparent love, fellowship, and friendship. He undermined and betrayed Jesus at the same time as claiming Him to be his friend!! This squares perfectly with the meaning of antichrist. He is not an opposer, but a subtle imposter. A counterfeit. An imposter of Jesus Christ. A false copy, or forgery of the true.
Antichrist is therefore a person or power who impersonates the offices of Priesthood, the Prophet or spokesmanship, and the Kingly rule of Christ. The office that ministers for God, speaks for God, and rules for God.
Satan has many counterfeits. Now counterfeits are almost identical to the true. You do not get counterfeit 99$ notes. You get counterfeit 100$ notes. And unless you get trained and disciplined to know intimately the true 100$ note, you will not recognise the false. It has been estimated that every person in America who has regularly handled 100$ notes, has had pass through their hands a counterfeit at least 4 times a year! And not known it!!!! Unless you are intimately acquainted with the true Jesus, how will you recognise the counterfeit?
So how does Antichrist counterfeit the threefold ministry of the true Christ, as Priest, Prophet and King? Is there an entity in the world today who claims to do just this? Is there one like Judas who is betraying the Master with a kiss, all the while claiming to be a friend? Is there in the world today a religious system or religious ruler who claims to be the earthly representative of Christ as His priest, claiming to be a mediator between God and man? Claiming to forgive sin even?
Does this entity also claim the prerogatives of a prophet? Does it claim to speak for God in spiritual matters? Does it claim to stand as Gods spokesman on earth and claim that only through it's authority can salvation be found?
And finally, does this entity also claim to be a king? Does it claim authority as a secular power? Does it exercise authority and power within the auspices of a church/state relationship?

I think you all know the answer is yes. There is an entity in the world today who claims all the above Godly prerogatives which belong only to Jesus Christ. Priest, prophet and king. This entity has set itself up as counterfeit and thus can be affirmatively identified as the antichrist, the impostor and impersonator of the true. And this entity can be found in the Roman Catholic church system.

In Roman Catholic theology is also the embedded principle of 'replacement' or 'displacement' of Jesus. The entire sacramental system is based on the premise that only through participation in the sacraments as administered by Rome, can anyone hope for eternal life. Rome does not recognise any path to eternity apart from that which she has ordained through the priesthood under the headship of the Roman bishop. Thus Rome has implemented a system of works that men must do, or tasks that men must accomplish, be it confession to a priest, penance, participation in mass, partaking of the Eucharist, pilgrimages to shrines or basilicas, recitation of the rosary, or prayers to Mary or the saints and many other 'religious' acts, all for the purpose of salvation. The RCC has also a system of merit. A system whereby the merits of righteousness earned by saints, by Mary etc can be transferred into your account in order to lessen time spent in purgatory.
The Protestant principle of 'sola fide', faith only, is anathema to Rome. The one time shredding of blood by Christ for the atonement of sin is anathema to Rome. Scripture, as the foundation for faith and practise is anathema to Rome. A relationship with Christ outside of Roman jurisdiction is anathema to Rome.
For 1260 years, 538 to 1798, the papal Church persecuted Christians that refused to surrender their Sovereignty to the Roman pontiff.
She boasted of her authority to change God's laws.
She named her Pope titles that belong only to God.
She claimed prerogatives that belong only to God.
She claimed to be the sole mediator n between God and man.
She claimed the mass was a necessary repetition of the sacrifice of Christ.
Sure is the true Antichrist of Scripture. She has fulfilled every single criteria that prophecy requires.
